Enlightened to our bodies new purpose, our understanding into universal forgiveness goes deeper. Constructs of Truth interact, as we go deeper in one area, we go deeper into another. This forgiveness is one of our main functions in the dream because its the release out of fear and into divine love, out of the dream of illusions and into the reality of Truth. What we loose is loosed, what we bind is bound. Our will is powerful.

Universal forgiveness is the key which opens the door to our divine Mind. This ubiquitous forgiveness unlocks our ability to see through the worn and tattered skins of every soul as it removes our mental hold on erroneous past learning to see according to Truth. In divine forgiveness, we perceive all souls as extensions of God’s holiness because they are his holy thought, which can’t be tainted. In seeing others’ holiness, we see our own because how we see others, defines how we see ourself, and vice versa. This holy vision of others is the Spirit of God looking through us in Truth upon creation, therefore its power to create all things new is unlimited.

The teaching of divine forgiveness within our minds is like walking through a long corridor in which we push through many layers of illusions created by our faulty belief system. As our false beliefs are challenged with the Truth we know but don’t yet see, the illusion seemingly closes in around us. However, with the Spirit of Truth’s perfect guidance that cannot fail, we prevail to awaken to our true divine Mind, from which arises the kingdom of Truth (Heaven).

Through divine forgiveness the four pillars of the illusions of the dream are replaced by those of the reality of Truth. 1) Truth takes the place of all erroneous past learning, 2) the true divine Self replaces the false image of ourself formed out of past learning, 3) the eternal present replaces time, which extended the past into the future, and 4) emergence of the divine life force replaces striving to control the future because of fear created by past learning.

When we are unaware of Truth, we strive to control the future because of the many forms fear created through our past learning. When the past teaches us we are weak, vulnerable, limited, little, rejected, and finite then fear is created along with a desire to control our future to mitigate the fear. In this control, we attempt to manipulate the effects of time because time is the past extended forward. As long as we engage these four interworking dynamics, the gate of heaven appears to be locked. From this perspective, we are separated from heaven, which is the immersion of divine love into all our being, expression and life. In the perceived absence of divine love, fear abides and blinds us from entering the present moment, created in ever-present divine love. This holy, divine love is the life force of creation. It’s the essential characteristic of God that is the sum of all other aspects of his character. It’s the Cause to the effect of us experiencing the attributes of Truth: invulnerable peace, transcendent joy, eternal beauty, invincible vitality, perfection, wholeness, perfect abundance, freedom, strength, timelessness, and love.

The teaching of divine forgiveness leads us to the resting place of the eternal present as it frees us and others from past learning and all it projected into the future. Being present-minded and free from past learning, our mind engages the Truth that dwells in the present. Our past learning and its projected fear no longer create our current state, but the living Truth unfolds each perfect present moment through emergence. We are Truth’s extension, which is divine love’s expression.

In stillness and listening to his voice above all others, the Spirit of Truth gives us the keys to the kingdom. The four pillars of Truth are revealed through the Spirit’s teaching of universal forgiveness. When we can recognize the pillars of Truth, the Divine Self, the Eternal Present, and Emergence, we possess the key and open the door to the eternal present, created for us in divine love. Through this open door, the eternal Light shines through us, and equally upon all.

A New Look at Forgiveness

sunset-100367_640

As Truth governs our desires and will, true forgiveness is able to have its perfect work.

Our divine Self’s expression is Truth. Forgiveness is the means by which our awakening minds return to the Truth, thus to God, and give expression to our divine Self and a reality of Truth. As our minds integrate into the Source of Truth, we exercise forgiveness in a whole new way, universally. No longer is our exercise for isolated people, situations or events, but for all as One.

The dream is a reality of judgment, and the eternal is a reality of Truth. Forgiveness is the transition of our minds from the former to the latter. The dream reality is sustained by a matrix of false beliefs (personal opinions and judgments void of Truth) about who we are, others and God. The eternal reality emerges out of the present moment as we come to know and give faith to the simplicity and beauty of Truth.

As our awareness is brought inward to the eternal Light, we begin to know the Truth though revelation. Truth’s radiant sovereignty instills a deep knowing within, a knowing that far exceeds the facilitating and duplicitous nature of belief. Precept upon precept, undeniable knowing sets us free from our erroneous beliefs that created and sustained our dream consciousness. Because the Truth is opposite of those beliefs, our minds can’t serve both, it has to choose one and forsake the other, which is the work of forgiveness.

Forgiveness is the diligent practice of releasing the reality of judgment and owning the reality of Truth. As we sincerely desire to see Truth through the illusionary veil and thus see ourselves and others as the holy Self of God, we experience the freedom and power of universal forgiveness. Seeing through the veil takes dedicated practice because we’ve shaped and strengthened our minds to believe and dwell in the dream we created. It’s a mindful push through the web of illusions (i.e., idols, past pain, fears, images of our false selves) that were once our truth.

The Practice

Forgiveness entails two creative acts; denial of the unreal and gratitude for the real. All that occurred in our dream is unreal: all reflections of weakness, attack, fear, littleness, death, destruction, decay, time, aging, limitedness, sin, guilt, harm, suffering, pain, sickness, separation, lack of love, etc. While looking upon the illusion that feels real because of our belief in it, denial of these attributes and their multitude of reflections can seem powerless. Yet, Truth’s quiet power that sustains eternity reigns within each choice we make for Truth. As we continually deny what we manifested in error of thought, our mind releases our belief in it a little more. Simultaneously, as we give gratitude for what we know of Truth (ie. the eternal spiritual attributes), we give Truth a creative outlet for expression. This creative exchange is experienced as healing, growing wisdom, increasing love and joy, and expanding peace and rest, which in turn fuels our gratitude. By these two creative acts, the dream fades out and the Kingdom of Heaven fades in.

In the dream’s false understanding of forgiveness, forgiveness is an attempt to pardon a hurt we believe is real. This belief imprisons ourselves in the nightmare because we’ve accepted the lie that we are weak, little, sinful and limited, and everything the holy Self (Son) of God is not. It’s releasing the illusion that sets us free, not making it real to us.

As we release others by seeing them in Truth, we release ourselves. What we give, we receive. The eternal Light we possess within erases our dream of judgment, guilt, sin, suffering and separation, and reveals what has always been in the eternal present; our true Selves as One in Oneness with our Creator. This beautiful revelation is the work of true forgiveness.

The Golden Key

And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Matthew 16:19

Dawning of a New Day

Dawning of a New Day

As the soul awakens to the supra-conscious mind, it experiences divine trust followed by divine forgiveness. These attributes originate from the supra-conscious and equip the soul to operate in accordance with the supra-mind’s purposes. Together these Spirit attributes enable the layering of perfect divine potentials in the soul’s reality. As these potentials build layer by layer, the soul becomes consciously aware of the kingdom of God.

In this moment resides the perfect divine potential waiting to manifest. Its manifestation is the expression of the supra-consciousness through the soul (the Christ). Divine potentials find entrance into the soul’s reality through divine trust and they have space to manifest by divine forgiveness. Divine trust connects the soul to the supra-consciousness so divine potentials manifest in the soul’s reality, and divine forgiveness liberates the present moment so the potentials can be established and propagate.

Divine Trust

As the soul awakens, it experiences the power of divine trust. Prior to its awakening through the instructions of the Spirit of Truth, the soul learns the constructs of divine trust (trust in divine love) and gains the desire to trust, but lacks the power to truly act in this trust. As the soul awakens, it receives the power to trust, because the soul becomes aware of divine trust from the supra-consciousness. Trust is the first divine attribute the soul experiences. It’s the state of consciousness that connects the individualized soul to the supra-consciousness in a way that allows the expression of all the other attributes to manifest. Divine trust is the soul’s initial conscious experience of oneness with the Christ within.

Divine trust forms an open door to the supra-consciousness that enables this divine consciousness to expand into the soul. This trust enlarges within the soul until the soul fully trusts in the unfailing nature of divine love and no longer trusts in physical expectations (i.e., the “world”). This expansive trust enables the supra-mind to govern all the soul expressions, and therefore manifest divine potentials in the soul’s reality. The divine trust becomes an eternal gate in the soul through which the supra-mind expresses itself in creation.

Divine Forgiveness

Entering through the open door of divine trust, the next divine attribute to enter the soul in power is divine forgiveness. Like trust, the soul learns about the constructs of divine forgiveness from the Spirit of Truth and gains a desire to divinely forgive, but only upon its awakening does it experience its true power.

Divine forgiveness has the power to liberate the present moment from past negative emotions that create suffering in the soul, and fill the present with divine love which heals and renews the soul. It purifies the present moment, enabling the expression of the other divine attributes. It’s an essential attribute involved in the transformative process of “Life”, regenerating the soul from a mortal experience to an immortal one. In divine trust, the soul rests in the perfect unfoldment of this highly desirable attribute, for it is the experience of the soul breaking free from the bondage of the self-generated consciousness.

Emotions are the expressed energy of the soul. Energy’s vibrations create harmony or disharmony in reality. When the energy is tainted by negative past emotions, it creates a disharmonious reality. For example, if anger lingers in the soul’s consciousness from a past event, then it impacts the emotional atmosphere of the present. When it is a disharmonious energy, like anger, it creates disharmony is the soul’s reality. Versus, when the soul feels the harmonious vibrations of love, it creates desirable circumstances and conditions.

The self-directed consciousness, which is crafted in corruption, holds on to past negative emotions through its erroneous beliefs, perceptions, judgments and constructs, and as a result the soul experiences emotional pain and suffers for events that no longer exist. Upon the soul’s awakening, as the supra-consciousness supplants the corrupted self-directed consciousness, and through divine forgiveness the present is completely freed from negative past emotions. In the light of the supra-consciousness, the past reflects its truth – that it is unreal. Instead, the now becomes real and new, alive with divine love, the source of harmony, vitality, and joy.

Divine forgiveness exists right now for each one of us. It’s woven into the fabric of the energetic structure of creation. All that exists is the present moment’s energetic vibration. This “purity of the present moment” is a reflection of our Creator’s divine forgiveness available to us all. In truth, we are totally free, liberated, and “forgiven” with every new moment. When we receive the awareness of divine forgiveness from the supra-consciousness through the open door of trust, we are able to fully abide in this truth and we are free.

Through oneness with the supra-consciousness, the soul receives the inflow of divine attributes and expresses their outflow into creation, illuminating reality with Truth. As the soul reflects perfect divine potentials, it arises and shines in the dawning of a new Day.

The Golden Key

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  ~ 1 Corinthians 5:17

Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”  ~ Revelation 21:5

The Living Present Moment

Moving into the

Living Present Moment

As the consciousness shifts from being self-directed to the divine, the soul moves into the present moment; its new inventive space where it’s a creative witness to the Spirit of God.

Moment by moment like drops of water, our consciousness creates our reality. The past consists of a myriad of reflections of those accumulated drops, and our interpretations of those past reflections determine our future drops. Full of error, the self-determined consciousness creates muddled and disharmonious pools of water that are brimming with heartache, suffering, afflictions and pain. Bound in this destructive creation cycle, the soul continues to manifest error, thus suffering.

Governed by divine love and absolute truth, the divine consciousness creates harmonious drops that create eternal and ever-expanding joy, peace, rest, wisdom, and love. Each drop of this consciousness that is released into the present moment is in harmony with all the others because these drops are divinely governed from within. An ever-growing expression of a divine soul emerges as one moment perfectly supports all other moments. This dynamic creates the living and ever-expanding present moment.

As the soul learns from the Spirit of Truth, it begins to gain harmonious conceptual frameworks from the truth he imparts. So, within the soul’s experience of the dark disharmonious and chaotic waters of the self-determined consciousness, a harmonious bubble of truth methodically forms as a divine soul structure. The soul’s present moment is not only filled with its disharmonious waters, but also it’s pregnant with the conceptual frameworks of truth that are waiting for the breath of life of the divine consciousness to become active in the soul’s experiential reality.

When the necessary conceptual frameworks are gained so that this inner part of the soul can unite to the divine consciousness, then by transformative grace the Spirit fills the conceptual frameworks and brings the divine soul into the light as it manifests the light from within the soul. The light is created moment-by-moment as the drops of divine consciousness create a reality reflecting the Spirit of God. It’s the ever expanding living present moment. Like the rising sun, each moment layers upon the next in perfect harmony with all other moments, so that the present possesses an eternal living nature allowing it to become increasingly more glorious. In any one moment, the interwoven perfection of all the moments is seen. In this, the soul takes on an immortal reflection. The soul ascends to abide in the present moment where the Spirit of God dwells.

The Present Moment

The present moment is fleeting to the self-determined consciousness that is confined to mindsets dictated by the past and its future. But to the divine consciousness it is home.

As the soul begins to transform into a divine consciousness, so that the bubble of truth becomes filled with the Spirit of Divinity, it begins to enter into the present moment through shifts of awareness in its consciousness. The present that was always fleeting begins to open up and become the space in which the soul dwells, because it’s where the Spirit of God dwells.

The past is memory and the future is imagination. The only real moment is the present moment. This is the space where the Spirit of God encounters his created reality as his Spirit streams through the soul. Yet, in the self-determined consciousness this moment is ungraspable. It’s impossible for the soul to fully live in it, thus in oneness with the presence of God. However, with the divine consciousness that creates harmony between every moment, the present opens up to be a moment where the soul can abide with the Spirit of God.

Opening of the Present Moment

When the present moment opens as a dwelling place for the soul, the Spirit of God enters into the soul’s expressive reality. As the Spirit is divine love, the soul experiences divine love flooding into its essence, and out toward all of creation in one continuous movement; a love with the ability to end all suffering. These fluid and cohesive droplets of the divine consciousness begin to manifest reflections of the Spirit of God in reality. Thus the soul begins to experience living present moments, which create the eternal light.

There are various transformative conceptual frameworks at work within the consciousness as it shifts into the divine consciousness. The constructs below enable the quality of present-mindedness of the divine consciousness to exist within the soul, thus for the soul to exist in the present moment.

  1. Divine Forgiveness. Divine forgiveness is a characteristic of divine love that enables this love to always extend itself in its fullness when emotional pain, thus separation, has occurred, as if the pain never occurred. The grace that flows in this love produces a supernatural release of all pain so the soul can receive and give love as if that pain never existed. Thus, in the present moment the soul can divinely love in all wisdom. Emotional pain is manifested from the soul lacking divine love and truth. When the soul is full of divine love, then that pain can no longer be created. This forgiveness is the active ingredient of love that severs the negative affects of the past upon the present and makes it a non-active ingredient of the divine soul, which is essential in creating a harmonious present moment.
  1. Memories Refashioned. Related to divine forgiveness is the past being reframed by the divine consciousness so that instead of having a negative impact on the present, it has a positive. When the divine consciousness begins to take over a soul, all the soul’s past experiences are reframed and perceived from the framework of divine love and eternity, which is facilitated by the understandings mentioned in the previous post. This reframing enables harmony to be constructed within the present moment.
  1. Cycle of Restitution. As the soul fully desires to divinely love all creation at all times, its inward desires align to the will of God, thus to the divine consciousness. In desiring to live in this pure love, the soul realizes it can’t in its current state of consciousness, thus recognizes it can never be “good”. Recognizing this inability to receive and give divine love and yet desiring to, the soul is led to the door of the kingdom of God within its soul; the internal divine governance. The soul releases its willful drive of the self-determined mind, which enables its transition into the present moment where it’s divinely governed and all is restored and renewed. (True Repentance)
  1. Cultivated Trust. Reliance on the Spirit of Truth is cultivated along the path of enlightenment, which puts the soul in a state of being spirit-reliant versus self-reliant. For a soul to shift to the living present moment, it relinquishes all its expectations and ambitions of self-determination. Instead, the soul trusts in the workings of the Spirit of Truth to manifest its divine desires in its reality through the perfect orchestration of one present moment harmoniously supporting all others. This depth and level of trust manifests an immortal harmony that the soul can’t create on its own and that is necessary to fully abide in the present moment.
  1. Divine Governance. When the soul is governed by the divine consciousness, it’s governed from within by the divine attributes of the Sprit of God, which flow from the soul’s point of origin. These attributes dictate and motivate the soul’s decisions moment by moment. In this, the soul willingly releases all control and its various emotional tools it utilized to sedate the fear, pain and emotional imbalances, and moves into the fluid restorative movement of the present. Through this internal governance the soul resides in mindful awareness in the present moment, which enables it to harmoniously expand, versus remaining in the endless cycle of an erroneous past and its future manifestations.

As the divine consciousness fills the pregnant present moment containing the conceptual frameworks of truth within the soul, these five transformative understandings move the soul into the present moment to embrace a oneness with the Spirit of God. This metamorphosis of consciousness manifests the soul into an eternal finite being. So that even though at any given moment the soul is finite; at the same time it is eternally expanding and growing. In this formation, the Spirit of God, who is infinite, is able to abide within his creation in a beautiful harmonious oneness.

The Divine Exchange

The Divine Exchange

Preparation for Oneness

In preparation for oneness, in faith the soul exchanges elements of the self-determined consciousness for those of the divine. These elements shape the spiritual blueprint of consciousness and the spiritual laws of that govern consciousness.

Oneness with our Creator is crafted through love; for love is the foundation and nature of our eternal relationship with him. The Spirit of Truth is bringing me to place of love in every area of my soul to prepare me for this oneness. This place isn’t in the likeness of my self-generated love, but of his divine love. Thus, I’m learning of this love and will continue to until I am fully aware, open, and responsive to its nature. This soul journey entails addressing the multitude of areas that form the blueprint of my consciousness. All these areas need to be enlightened with divine love before divine love can be possessed. The divine consciousness, which manifests divine love, is all consuming, so the soul has to be prepared for its total governance at its first drop.

How are these areas that form the consciousness being revealed to me?

Necessity of Weakness

Weakness. Normally weaknesses are the bane of our existence. But when journeying into the realm of divinity, they become a form of strength.

My weaknesses are playing an essential role in this transformative process. Not only do they reveal what to let go of in relation to my self-determination, but also they give me the overwhelming desire to do so. Thus, they are a necessary and formative part of this process. Because of the proportional relationship between awareness of weakness and awareness of divinity, the further I progress on this journey, the greater the experience of my weaknesses.

Because consciousness is all consuming, nothing of my soul is left untouched by the divine light; thus, weakness is felt in every aspect of my being. Facing the immensity of my frailties can be trying and unsettling. Yet, it’s in this season of the soul that the foundation of faith established over the years by the Spirit of Truth rises to the occasion and carries me through. Though I’m losing myself, there is only gain. When this divine exchange for the elements of the self-determined consciousness for those of the divine is soulfully understood, letting go becomes an overwhelming desire. In exchange for letting go is the attainment of the elements of divinity in faith. It’s an evolutionary process of letting go of the false self of illusions, to embrace faith in the divine, which brings in the substance of divinity.

Divine Elements

There are four particular elements of consciousness that overlap and affect the soul’s ability to be a conduit of divine love. Thus, the Spirit of Truth directs the soul to make a divine exchange in these areas.

The interrelated elements of love, judgment, justice, and forgiveness possess a self-determined nature that through a soul’s preparation for divinity are exchanged for the divine nature. Divine elements do what the self-determined ones cannot. They produce eternal life, regeneration of the human soul thus all of creation, harmony, unity, endless growth, eternal peace, rest, joy and freedom.

Divine love is creating the highest good for all, in every situation, all the time. Divine love’s characteristics contain many layers, infinite expressions, and truths. Some of its characteristics are it’s always 1. longsuffering 2. kind and gentle 3. humble and confident 4. courageous 5. honoring of all 6. constant and consuming 7. healing and forgiving 8. giving and nurturing 9. merciful 10. trustworthy, honest, and faithful 11. abundant 12. of divine judgment. It perfectly loves at all times to all entities of creation. It excludes no one or nothing. This love moves through the soul from its Source. It isn’t self-generated. It’s the light of God. It’s the cornerstone of truth.

This element is the foundation to the divine consciousness. Once the soul understands the nature of divine love to a degree where it experiences the desire to perfectly love all creation at all times, then the understanding of the other elements flows into the soul’s awareness. Each element is received into the soul in conjunction with the soul’s willingness to give to others according to its nature.

Since divine love is all consuming, prior to its substance filling the soul, the soul must completely desire it along with its corresponding divine elements that play a role in manifesting that love; particularly divine judgment, divine justice and divine forgiveness.

Divine judgment is determining all souls, regardless of soul condition, at all times worthy of divine love. The solution to every ailment of the soul that causes harm and pain is divine love. It’s the answer to every situation. When the soul sincerely wants to give this love, which means embracing and giving all of its characteristics, then the answers come as to how to respond to each situation and relationship. This judgment doesn’t assess the past or future, but resides in the present; a state of timelessness, where all of creation is deemed worthy and needing of divine love. The lies and illusions that caused the harm and pain are dismissed, and the truth is honored and cultivated. When a soul embraces this divine element it willingly extends divine love, thus judges in harmony with the Spirit of Truth.

Judgment, which is how a soul sees a person or situation, precedes justice, which is how a soul responds to a person or situation. Thus, how the soul judges determines how the soul administers justice.

Divine justice is allocating to every soul, regardless of their soul state, divine love. Divine love heals and regenerates the soul into eternal life. It creates goodness out of every ill act. Thus, when one causes harm the response of divine justice is to sincerely desire and do what is for their highest good, which is what cultivates divine love in their soul. Therefore, the intention in divine justice is to love and increase love, nothing else. This intention brings about the corresponding responsive action.

If one suffers for any reason, all suffer. Thus, what is desired is what heals suffering. And as one begins to heal, all begin to heal. The fulfillment of divine justice is the Creator bringing his love into every soul and making it his reflection. If there is one, even one, without his reflection, then divine justice is not complete.

Divine forgiveness is severing a soul from its past so it has no ill effects on the present. It’s the working mechanism of divine justice. It transitions every act of the past to bring about the highest good for all. It’s an act of complete liberation of the soul, thus the keys to the kingdom. In divine love, divine forgiveness is a constant. This forgiveness is activated in the soul when it is received in truth and love into the soul from the giver. Thus, when the receiving soul accepts this element into its beliefs thus its soul, then the transformative work of divine forgiveness commences.

These divine elements are of the Creator’s Spirit. Thus when the soul engages them through faith, the soul is far more powerful than when engaging these elements through the self-determined consciousness. As the soul employs them in faith and prayer, a link from the soul to the Creator is established. This connection brings a new set of potentials, which are anchored in divinity, into the soul’s reality.

Our Creator’s ways are not our ways. His thoughts are not our thoughts. My journey has been one of letting go of my self-determined ways and embracing his in faith as the Spirit of Truth reveals them to my soul. And as I am learning, this divine exchange prepares my soul for oneness, which is the fulfillment of every desire, hope, and promise.

The Golden Key

The Golden Key

From my teacher’s open hand
I lifted a golden ring
From it dangled a transcendent key
Reflecting the end of my reign.

The key sparkled a lucid light
Shimmering in a crystalline glow
I marveled at the magnificent sight.
I wondered at its door.

“Crafted out of my divine love
It contains a glorious power
Not found in any other.”

“It’s the key to my heart
And I give it to you.
I am you and you are me
You are all and all is you.”

“I know your heart well
Its love for the weak and the small
For through our journey
My heart I sowed in you for all.”

“A heart to hold my key
In tenderness and harmony
To treat it with care and delight
To never shun its brilliant light.”

I slid it around my finger
That I might not lose it forever.

The key quaked in my hand
Then melted into my skin
Its power surged down my spine
Then I knew his heart was mine.

“A single key for a single door
To unlock the bound to be free
Once the door is open it can’t be shut
It will loose all above and below
Into a state which their souls did not sow.”

“It ends the past and releases the present.
It turns back time to the beginning.
It melts its chains and removes its pains.
It’s the substance of love again and again.”

“Dissolving scars, tears and stains
It sends eternal love pulsing through every vein.
It ends all strife
And brings new life.”

“It frees the soul from the past
Where all that is untrue is vast
Encroaching upon a tender mind
Enslaving it in endless binds.”

“Is this your desire?
To release all?
Justice isn’t found if one should fall.

“Justice is unearthed in divine love.
It protects, delivers, heals, and renews
And brings the vilest into the true.”

“Free one, free all
Bind one, bind all.
This key I place into your heart
And I know what you will do
Thus my gift to you.”

I raised the key to the light
To see a marking on its side
Engraved in pearly white
A word of life, forgiveness, showed bright.

I ran to the inner chamber
I slipped the key inside
I flung the door wide open
And fell upon my side.

A gentle breeze danced across my skin
My tattered garments became as nothing
A flash of light filled my eyes
I felt a change inside.

Many rainbows flooded my soul
of unparalleled delight
All was changed; all became bright.
Time stood still as if no more
Then my eyes fell upon the open door.

The wind travelled into the human soul.
Touching every creature great and small.
Though unknown from where it came
Hearts melted enraptured by its call.

Life began to bloom.
Exalted in joy I feel to my knees
And from deep within whispered,
All is one and one is all and we are all free.

The Purpose of Forgiveness

The Purpose of Forgiveness

Forgiveness is a powerful characteristic of God’s love enabling us to transform into eternal creations.

Forgiveness has been misunderstood as a type of covering so we can remain in sin. Yet, the purpose and gift of forgiveness is to create an environment for us to grow out of sin and into righteousness, thus into eternal creations. Proverbs 12:28 To willingly remain in our sin is to trample on the forgiveness of God. Christ gave us His spirit NOT so we remain in sin/death, but that we would have the power to break free from it.

Forgiveness is the ability to see someone in true love after they have sinned against you. The love absorbs the hurt from their sin; so, if repentant, they can grow and learn in a safe harbor of love. 1 Peter 4:8 True forgiveness is an exchange between two people; one giving forgiveness and the other receiving forgiveness. In this exchange healing occurs.

Atmosphere for Growth

God’s forgiveness provides us an atmosphere to grow. In His love, He forgives us of our wrongs as His love absorbs the hurt we caused so we can stay connected to Him; the One to deliver us from the lies that cause sin. Forgiveness enables the dross, the unrighteousness, to be burned so we can become precious jewels as we were intended to be. Proverbs 25:4 Without it, we could never break free because we would be severed from the source, God, who assembles the truth in us so we can be free from sin. John 8:32

You see, we’ve all been in prison, a prison of our minds for believing lies instead of the truth. Isaiah 42:7 In believing the lies, we act in unrighteousness. When we seek wisdom, truth and love from God; He starts to open our eyes to the lies; thus our unrighteousness. At that point we also understand our need to be forgiven by God. What we find is God’s forgiveness is an ever gushing stream so we can remain in His presence and therefore learn and grow in His righteousness. It’s always there in abundant amounts. It allows God to use our sins and their consequences to teach us and direct us to the paths of life. God remains by our side and leads us out of the pit of lies, rung by rung, that keep us bound and transgressing His perfect will, ways and love.

Thus, the power of forgiveness is to learn the lessons of truth that save us. James 1:21

When we desire to live according to God’s ways, we embrace His forgiveness, thus His love. If we aren’t learning; we aren’t abiding in His forgiveness, but are trampling upon it. Thus to know His love; we must receive His forgiveness. If we receive His forgiveness, our lives show it because righteousness is being sown in our soul. Isaiah 33:6

In forgiveness, God gently works with us transforming us into holy creations. He makes the transition into righteousness peaceful and gentle as we willingly follow His lead. He unravels our twisted soul of lies with the least amount of stress and turmoil. However, if we reject it by not repenting and learning, we face torment that we bring upon our own soul. If there is no repentance, we aren’t accepting His forgiveness. Hebrews 6:4-8 Thus, there is no exchange and no healing.

Forgiving Others

Once we understand and receive the forgiveness God gives, then we give it to others. Luke 6:37-38, 40 For we give what we are and what we have. We do as our teacher.

True forgiveness sees the transgressor in love. Because forgiveness is of love, when we forgive someone it means we are continuing to see them in love. In our love for another, we absorb the hurt they caused as they are trying to grow and learn. In that atmosphere of forgiveness and love; the transgressing soul can grow. If they aren’t trying to grow, repent, then they are harmful to us and we can’t continue to engage them because it only causes harm. Without the repentance; no healing exchange occurs. Matthew 18:21-22

When our hearts are hardened, we don’t or won’t see another in true love.  Instead, because of the hurt they have caused we build spiritual walls that block our love to them. We don’t give them a chance. If we harden our hearts toward others; we also are hardening it toward God, for it’s His will that we forgive. Matthew 6:14

Our forgiveness fosters others’ growth. If we don’t offer forgiveness, we prohibit their growth and ours. John 20:23 We neglect to give the love they need for their soul to heal, thus ours. Matthew 18:18

May we all truly receive and give forgiveness so that we are sowers of righteousness in us and others.

Why Christ Died?

Why Christ Died?

God forgave in the Old Testament because forgiveness is a characteristic of love and God is love. So … why did Christ die?

2 Chronicles 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Christ died to remove the need for forgiveness.

In the sanctified human vessel of Jesus, God entered human flesh to reconcile His creation back to Himself. For there to be reconciliation, unrighteousness had to be destroyed because God is holy. By infusing His powerful spirit of truth and love into this earth through Christ; in time that spirit would destroy the lies, the sin, thus death WITHIN mankind leaving righteousness to reign. 2 Corinthians 5:19

By becoming one of us, God entered the pit, darkness, sin, death, this flesh world and He infused His spirit of light here, as a root, to be resurrected in us in the end days. Romans 5:10 Isaiah 53:2 This resurrection of His Spirit IN mankind would bring in His eternal reign of righteousness by transforming mankind’s souls. As long as any reign is external people will stray, the reign has to be on the inside, this is what God did through Christ. Jesus Christ physically resurrecting 2000 years ago was a testimony of His powerful resurrection to occur in mankind when His spirit resurrects many in the end days. John 6:40, Romans 5:12-21, 2 Peter 1:19

As Christ spirit grows in us; we become holy creations living righteously. Romans 5:17 Thus righteousness begins to be established in the earth.

This union of our spirit and Christ’s spirit is the marriage of us and Christ. The consummation of the marriage occurs as Christ enters our spirit and places His seed of light is us that grows in us into eternal creations. Proverbs 4:18 As with a human marriage, which is consummated by the joining of the male and female, so we are married to Christ when His Spirit infuses ours and a new spirit is born in us. This is in part why we receive a new name, because we have a new spirit. Matthew 16:17-18, Revelation 2:17 When He starts bringing us to life by infusing our spirit with His, then we have eternal life for the corrupted spirit in us drys up as His spirit of righteousness grows within us. His spirit destroys all sin, takes over, and governs our souls for eternity. Thus, we are one with Him for eternity. John 17:3, 17, 21-22

The Holy Spirit has been here since the physical resurrection of Christ Jesus to prepare us to be unified to Christ’s Spirit. This is why He is our teacher to teach us all things. 1 John 2:27 Christ is at the door. Rev 3:20 Those who answer the knocking and embrace Christ’s spirit are those who sought God in truth and spirit, were taught by the Holy Spirit, and went through the death of their corrupted spirit so they could receive a new spirit. Matthew 22:14, Revelation 12:11 They have a true fear of God and follow Him alone, versus, following the commandments of mankind/religion. Proverbs 19:23, Isaiah 29:13 By the Holy Spirit, they’ve been prepared with the spirit of wisdom to be joined with Christ’s spirit. John 6:45 Their growth begins the establishment of Christ’s kingdom on earth; a kingdom that comes from within out. Matthew 13:31, 1 Corinthians 15:22-24 They are the peacemakers, as Christ’s spirit joined to theirs makes peace in them and around them. Matthew 5:9

Because Christ is coming within us; He is coming as a thief to many. Revelation 3:3, 16:15 But to the elect, first fruits, He isn’t a thief for they are experiencing this union within them that is changing everything. 1 Thess 5:4 They are increasing in righteousness, love, honor, kindness, thus peace and rest in these days of mounting tribulation for others. 2 Thess 1:7-8, Proverbs 15:24 But as the elect continue to grow, the spirit of Christ in the earth will be undeniable. In the coming days, it will be made known who is filled with Christ and who isn’t as His spirit will show itself mighty in the souls joining to Him. 1 Corinthians 4:5,Matthew 7:22, Matthew 25:32-33

Christ died and resurrected to bring a fallen mankind back to God because of His love for us. To understand the purpose of His life is to understand the mystery of the gospel of eternal life. Romans 16:25 This is why if you are looking on the outside for Christ’s return at this time, you are looking in the wrong place.

Defeating Sin

Defeating Sin

1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor,

The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work on those who believe in God. Ephesians 1:19-20 This power enables us to be sanctified; which is to live in righteousness. It frees us from the sin/death in our lives and brings us into abundant life here on this earth. John 10:10 Sin creates hardships, afflictions, pain, addictions, and suffering in our lives. Many feel bound by sin; even many professing believers. They know they are forgiven, yet still suffer bondages to sin and its consequences. There is a way out, the full gospel.

Hebrews 4:2 For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.

1 Thessalonians 4:7-8 For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit.

We are no longer have to be slaves to sin/death; Christ made a way out of this bondage. He is the way, the door, the Word of God. The path out of sin/death in our lives is the narrow path, the path of truth. Its one few find because few truly seek truth from God Himself. Matthew 7:13-14  But for those who do travel the narrow way, they seek God in truth and learn spirit to spirit, He writes His truth on their hearts and it changes them, sanctifies them, He fills them and makes them into new creations. As a new creation, they have a new mind, new desires, new thoughts, and above all desire to be totally governed by God’s Spirit inside-out. 2 Corinthians 5:17 They walk the path of life, thus experience abundant life.

The purpose of going the narrow way of truth is receiving God’s spirit, which is the gift of life, eternal life, and abundant life. When He is directing us, He leads us to the fulfillment of the desires of our hearts as He intended to fill them. We experience joy, peace, rest, blessing, comfort, and righteous love because God’s spirit resides within us manifesting Himself in our lives.

Our part is to seek. Matthew 6:33 The lies and deception of the world has filled our minds, so we must seek for the truth and as we do it sanctifies us. John 17:17

Our part also is to cultivate trust in God above all things. Luke 14:33 We do this by trusting Him to be our Teacher and Counselor. We seek and listen to His instruction, act on it, and witness His faithfulness. In time, as we learn to trust His wisdom and will, we forfeit our self-will in every way and embrace His will. On this journey of the narrow path, we let go of our self-will and desire God’s will as He shows us His righteous love and goodness. Luke 17:33

This narrow path journey has been ignored by many. Ephesians 1:4 The doctrine of grace has been misunderstood. It’s by grace that we are able to live as new creations; a life we must seek and learn from God as how to walk. As we seek, He empowers us to walk it for it’s Him making His home in us. John 14:23 When it is Him working through us, His commands aren’t burdensome, but easy, a delight, and our desire. 1 John 5:3 They are how to live and are life, so we live an abundant life. In grace, we have tremendous power working for us and freeing us from the bondage of every sin. Ephesians 3:20.

1 John 3:24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

Many have been taught that the resurrection of Christ is the end. It’s just the beginning. His resurrection and life and the power it demonstrated are what God pours out on us. It’s the power that moves us from the pit of sin/death and into an abundant life here and now. Yes, it’s a journey, but every seeking step brings us more into life and out of death.  People aren’t living an abundant life because they are living in sin. They believe it is what it is until they die and go to heaven. Conversely, God is offering us His righteousness and His Kingship in our souls if we will seek.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Don’t Judge, But Love

Don’t Judge, But Love

In my past, I had a pattern in my relationships of judging, rejecting and walking away. But I thank God for showing me, and reworking this pattern in my life.

Luke 6:37 Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

Over the years, God has shown me the extent of my judgment of others, which was crafted in and by my flesh nature. It was derived from eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thus playing my own judge, instead of eating of the tree of life in which only God is judge and we are governed by His Spirit, not our judgments.

Like most areas requiring “purging the dross”, it amazed me how blind I was to my judging thoughts … even after years of seeking God. The web of lies we craft is vast, and the lies are deeply intertwined so that the renewing of our mind is a process that requires much patience. Romans 12:2 To break this bondage in my life, the Holy Spirit had to address other lies first. There may be more to come, but when we are receptive to His instruction, we move forward. And remember, we don’t even judge our own path. Leave all judgments to God who abounds in love and mercy.

1 Corin 4:3-4 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by a human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. For I know of nothing against myself, yet I am not justified by this; but He who judges me is the Lord.

I never saw my thoughts as God revealed them to be because as Jeremiah says our heart is deceitful and most of all to ourselves. Jeremiah 17:9 This is why we need One greater than us and beyond us to reveal and renew. This is the work of the Holy Spirit; to build in us new frameworks to think by that are established in Truth. Our part is to receive those frameworks by engaging His work in us by listening, praying, abiding in the Word, and submitting to His counsel as He directs.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

We are to love not judge. Judging entails condemnation. Loving entails forgiveness and mercy.

Take the example of children. Running into the street can cause harm; they could get hit by a car. So if a child is headed into the street, we tell them no and redirect them. We don’t judge them in condemnation because we know they are acting based on what they know or don’t know. They are acting on their prior experiences and level of understanding. They are acting in ignorance, so we don’t judge, we teach and help.

All those under the sway of the evil one, which is the whole world, are as children who don’t know. People are blinded by the lies, and therefore they live by them as if they are truth. If they knew the Truth their actions would be different. Each one of us acts based on our personal experiences and understanding; whether good or bad, right or wrong. We need to give others and ourselves the same mercy, love and care we give children. Thus, when people act in harmful ways, we are to love and exhort them, not condemn.

Projecting our Mindset onto Others

Matthew 7:4 “Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye?

An interesting aspect to this issue is beyond the exterior, the only judgment we can really have is our own interpretation of a situation based on our particular framework. All we know is our own mind, not another’s. We’ve never experienced another’s mind. So when we judge, we are really judging ourselves. When we judge we are assuming we know another’s mind because we are projecting our framework onto them. We think … if I acted that way this is what it would mean. But it isn’t us but them. Everyone’s perspective varies to some extent because no one has lived the exact same life. We can warn people of harmful situations, behaviors, modes of thought, we can help them from having walked certain paths ourselves, but we can’t judge them.

Romans 2:1 Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.

The Apostle Paul constantly corrected the young believers in the Bible, but he didn’t condemn them. He warned them of the dangerous paths they were walking. His heart broke for them. He loved them. We are to follow that example. This flows right into the concept of speaking evil of no one. (video) Would you speak evil of a child running into the street? Regardless of the actions of others, there is no need to speak evil of them. It doesn’t accomplish anything and yet has harmful ripple affects. We aren’t helping anyone. Now, we can warn others of people. For example, if I have a friend listening to a one teaching false doctrine, I need to warn them that their words aren’t in accordance with truth. Yet, that is very different than slandering them and judging them as a person.

Imagine if no one judged another, not even themselves but exhorted in love. If this post struck a chord in you, seek instruction from the Holy Spirit and see what He speaks to you about this area. Seek for Him to renew your mind and spirit to release all judgment and instead love and help others; to do to others as you would have them to do you.
