Living Faith Produces Living Light

Living Faith Produces Living Light

Space

Two changes in our soul start us on the journey to obtaining divine love. One is a genuine desire to perfectly love all creation, and the other is to realize we can’t on our own, but only by obtaining an oneness with our heavenly Father. This desire and realization move us out of a perfecting natural love and into the love of divinity. It’s the difference of abiding in the light and being of the light.

These changes set us on the journey of the new birth of our soul, a soul containing the substance of divinity. A living faith is the strength of our soul that brings forth this new soul.

Living Faith

Living faith is developed out of this driving desire for divine love that creates a soul substance of divinity. Living faith is our soul perception of our reality when it’s established on absolute truth and divine love that supersedes all other perceptions. It’s a faith that continually shapes our soul in divine love/truth until we find harmony, and thus an oneness, with the soul of our Father. When we have this living faith, we experience a sincere care that is ever deepening for all of creation that we never had before. Its realness creates a complete change of perception of the world around us, thus our lives become a thriving reality in which his love can ever expand and grow.

This change into a growing divine love within us is our greatest testimony of a true and living faith. It causes us to come alive in our soul, in a way we never experienced before for it’s of eternal life. It alters our lifestyle, choices, thoughts, behaviors and actions into the real and everlasting. It’s an active and substantial faith as it’s established within us by receiving intimate instruction from our Father and his beloved son. Their intimate instruction recreates our soul and makes us fit to find an oneness and eternal unity with divinity.

Living faith is to live, and thus have a life established on the truth and love of our Father and his son Jesus Christ, the one most filled with divine love and truth as it is ever expanding within him. This living faith isn’t established on or by religious dogma, ceremonies, or instruction, though many start from this place. It’s established on the intimate counsel and teaching between our Christ, our heavenly Father, and us. Together they move us out of the symbols and images of truth/love and into the real. This is a living faith as it is always grows out of the substance of true life, truth and the way into a unity with divinity.

As our heavenly Father impresses his character and nature upon our soul, especially his love, and as Christ Jesus teaches us and instructs us as the perfect older brother who has “been there and done that”, our souls are reworked and reshaped to the substance of divinity, no more a mere image of what is to be. Christ knows the way out of the blindness of the soul; the way to create and establish a living faith that brings in the living light, new birth.

The blindness is an internal blindness of the soul. This blindness is of our soul/mental perception when we are disconnected from our heavenly Father. In this disconnect from the all-knowing source, it’s a perception that only knows its own mind and nothing else, thus very limited and very easily falls into error. It’s a darkness covering our internal perceptions that affect our understanding of what we do see. As we follow his lead, he guides us out of the blindness of the soul, which is like a vast wilderness, where our limited soul perceptions give us only misleading counsel, and to an oasis of the real and eternal perfect reality that is crafted by the divine love of our Father.

Divine instructions lead to life; all else leads to wandering in circular paths. Only this counsel gives us true sight in a soul of blindness.

This soul development and corresponding lifestyle transformation that follows establishes our soul on an unshakable foundation. This rock of living faith carries us through the birth pangs into our new soul birth. These birth pangs are the testing and revealing of our faith. As our faith remains firm through the storms of our circumstances and soul (birth pangs), it’s found strong and sufficient to bring forth our new soul. When the storms pass and we are still standing, out flow from our soul the living light of perfect wisdom and love manifesting eternal comforts, harmony and peace.

Living Light

Living faith brings forth the living light. This faith “pushes” this living light into our reality. This living light is the perception of our heavenly Father’s all–knowing soul eye residing within our soul eye. This unison enables his supreme intellect/wisdom/love, which act as one, to flow through us and into our reality. This outflow radiates a heavenly divine reflection out of our soul and into the world. We become reflectors of the divinity of our heavenly Father. In it we exude a superior love and intellect beyond a human soul’s capability that reveals us as sons and daughters in harmony with the Most High. This makes us a part of his light.

Until we receive this deep connection to our Father so that his soul eye governs us from the deepest place within our soul, we are blind. Living faith produces a night vision in a soul of blindness until we experience a new birth of our soul and thus become a part of the living light. Until we have his perspective as our own, we have a degree of blindness. Everyone is somewhere along the continuum of blindness. Where we are on this continuum depends upon the amount of divine truth and love that we understand and live by.

Only by being united to our Father through his love influencing our soul and the instruction of Jesus Christ do we come into the living light, the new birth. In this unity nothing is left in us that is contradictory to his soul, thus we are rightly united to him and find our oneness with him.

This transformation starts now, today. Not some future point or after death. Any day can be the beginning of our transformation into a new soul.

A Time of Transition

A Time of Transition

Space

We are in a time of transition as one age comes to a close and a new age begins. The Kingdom of Heaven, which has been separate from this earth’s reality as a spiritual kingdom, is becoming the kingdom of this earth; the flesh, physical. The birth pangs of the earth transitioning into the Kingdom of Heaven are upon us.

The kingdom of darkness/evil that has reigned over the physical realm has begun its descent. Thus, the ways of evil will turn upon those who do them, and the ways of righteousness will prosper those who do them. It’s time to abide in purity. The power to live by and according to the spirit of Christ has come through understanding and revelation.

Within the firstborn, the Kingdom of Light started as a mustard seed and has been growing. They have been transitioning for some time now. As a plant breaks above the soil, this Kingdom’s reign within them is breaking through and entering into this earth’s reality as it overtakes their reality. They are the light bearers through this transition.

This transition is occurring because the heavenly Father/Mother’s love is being made manifest. This means all mankind will be refined within their souls to be in harmony with this perfect love. A great healing is upon the earth, which is the fulfillment of the salvation that Christ brought by bringing the fullness of the Godhead into this realm by bringing it into mankind.

The Godhead

Jesus Christ holds the fullness of God, thus the male and female side of God, the King and Priest. Not only has this been a time of a marriage between the pure virgins and Christ, but also the coming together of these two aspects of the spirit of the Godhead. When Jesus Christ ascended after His resurrection, part of His spirit, the spirit of truth, was given to mankind to purify souls to be able to contain the fullness of God (Father/Mother). God couldn’t come in fullness until souls were first purified to receive Him and be His temple at the end of the age. What brings in the end is when the spirit of the divine is no longer spilt as it was at Christ’s death/resurrection, but is reunited within mankind as one. This establishment of God upon the earth and union of the Father and Mother occur within the souls of mankind for they are the creations to hold the spirit of God.

This fusion, the fullness of the Godhead, possesses great power. It isn’t a power like that of mankind. It’s a power that comes in gentleness, strength in weakness, and perfect love. Perfect love is the true power. Those who have been united to Christ understand this to be true, for it’s this perfect love that healed every infirmity of their soul; an impossible feat for any person.

The mother side of God, the Holy Spirit, Wisdom, the female voice in the Proverbs, was welcomed into the hearts of those diligently seeking truth and those with a love for the truth. At Her instruction, (she is a part of Christ), these souls became prepared to receive the fullness of God thus the other aspect of God, the perfect love, the King, the Father. In this union, they hold the fullness as Jesus held the fullness when on the earth. She has been dismissed, oppressed, overlooked and trampled. But as her King comes, all that trampled her will be set aright by the purifying fire of the Father.

Ascension and Taking Flight

Those who have diligently sought the true heavenly Father/Mother have already experienced their birth pangs (intense purging and renewal of their minds); birth (becoming governed fully by the spirit of God) and now they embark on a new beginning (the spiritual kingdom infused into their physical reality). They are learning to fly, as they have become creations of the air, of the spirit. They are transitioning from a diligent seeking heart to being fully led as they enter the eternal rest. They are like a lamp that emanates pure light, spirit of Christ. All they possess is under the governance of the divine spirit of the Godhead. In entering their rest, they enter into the very heart of God. It is His lifeblood that pumps through their veins, thus the power of regeneration.

These have partaken of the wedding ceremony of Christ. They have united to Christ in their flesh. They also have united to souls of mankind in a new way, in a bond of love. In this time of establishing their vows, their commitment is to love and honor ALL of creation as they allow the spirit of Christ, the spirit of perfect love, to flow through them.

Entering the Refining Fire

For those who didn’t embrace the spirit of truth and thus transition, they are now entering their refinement. Like one who is sick, as their healing begins their physical state will get worse before it gets better, as all that is causing the sickness (sin) is purged out. This is the revealing of hearts, lives being turned inside out, as all the idols that covered their nakedness are dissolved. It’s the beginning of the end of corruption’s reign in their soul. There is no more escaping the consequences of evil; hypocrisy, hatred, lusts, unforgiveness, cruelty, bitterness, envy, strife, dishonor, and torments to others. These acts against love will cause great affliction in those who do them. All that will remain at the end of this period of refinement is the purified, righteousness and renewed spirit that is of the one true God. This refining will continue until God is all in all.

Pick Up Your Mat and Walk

For everyone, it’s time to pick up our mats and walk; to walk in the path of righteousness, which are the path of life. It’s time to believe the healing we have sought is available. This healing starts within the soul, as true healing does. We need only to step out in faith in obedience to perfect love to see the power of God manifested in our lives. This means doing the right thing as directed by the spirit of divine understanding coming from within. It’s a time of purging all that isn’t of the Father/Mother’s pure love, and walking in perfect love. Desire to be led by this love in all ways always.

The Gift of Salvation

The Gift of Salvation

Acts 13:22 “And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’

The gift of salvation is the heavenly Father giving us His heart. Christ enables us to partake of this gift by imparting to us His Spirit; which holds the fullness of the heavenly Father. Ephesians 3:19, John 1:12, 2 Peter 1:4 With His heart, we can love as He asks and as we deeply desire, and without it we can do nothing. John 15:5, Mark 12:30-31, Ezekiel 36:26 With His heart, we can walk righteously because we walk in pure love. Thus, having salvation is having His heart.

Sometimes people are more concerned with obtaining spiritual gifts than seeking after and for the heart of God. Seek His heart and every other gift will manifest as it should. 1 Corinthians 13:2

I mentioned in a previous post that self-righteousness is thinking you are loving when you are actually harming. It’s being blind to your own ability to harm others at any time.

Hypocrisy is feigning love. One who is self-righteous also is hypocritical and BLIND to their hypocrisy. Thus, they believe they are loving, when they are actually being harmful and hypocritical.

This world defines what it means to be loving and kind. These definitions aren’t God’s definitions. What the world sees as kind and loving is tainted with all kinds of hypocrisy; some instances more apparent than others.

Hypocrisy and self-righteousness are very harmful in the lies and blindness they hold and cultivate. Blindness keeps people from repentance; thus unaware of their own creation of cruelty and unable to change. To mask harm with love is damaging and deceitful. Romans 7:24-25

Because our definitions of love and kindness are influenced by the world and what others think and say; we have to go to the heavenly Father one-on-one and learn what pure love entails. When we do, we see the wisdom His love holds is very different from the world’s love; for the world’s love is based on the world’s wisdom that is founded on lies and based on the corrupted carnal mind.

When God is calling us to Himself, He is calling us to the purest of love in all honor, holiness, beauty, righteousness, and perfection. When we start following His voice into His love; we find a glorious love far beyond what mankind can give. Thus, our desire to have His heart intensifies, because it isn’t within ourselves alone, until it’s our sole desire and we are willing to sell all to obtain it. Matthew 10:39, Matthew 13:46 To have His heart is our salvation for only by us in Him and Him in us can we live in an eternity of no sin, pain, suffering, and death.

What is the testimony that we are after God’s heart? We desire to do His will alone; therefore we seek and obey.

‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’ Acts 13:22

“I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me. John 5:30

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Matthew 7:21

If we love God, we obey Him. When we obey Him, we abide in His love.  John 14:15, John 15:10

Obedience to God has been greatly misunderstood. Therefore, it’s often dismissed, excused or taken lightly when it comes to our relationship with God; yet it is central to it.

To obey God isn’t burdensome because it means we are loving and growing in love; the deepest desire of our hearts. 1 John 5:3 When we obey His voice in our circumstances; He enables us with His grace to do that which He desires of us. It’s the path to manifesting His love in our lives because it’s following His voice into His will of perfect love. As we obey, He changes us and transforms us. And the more we become a part of His light, the easier it is to obey because we trust the perfection of His ways to bring true joy, peace, blessing, and yes love. And this trust and obedience allows Him to move into our soul.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

Characteristics of the Spirit Mind

Characteristics of the Spirit Mind

The womb of this world is opening and bringing forth the sons of God. Galatians 4:19 They are going through the torn veil and entering into the Holy of Holies to abide in the presence of God and thus for His presence to fill their present. Mark 15:38, John 3:5-6 These symbolic illustrations point to and describe mankind transitioning from the finite flesh mind into the eternal spirit mind. And, what happens as you go through the birth canal leaving the water (womb/earth) and entering into the air (spirit/heaven)? You leave the unreal, death and lies, and enter the real, life and truth. Revelation 4:1

The real has been hidden in the unreal. Revelation 2:17  The real is the present moment, which mankind experiences as a flash because the finite flesh mind abides in the past and the future. Yet the present moment is the only part of our existence that is real. The past only exists as a memory and the future doesn’t exist. So as we are born into the spirit, our minds move into the present and that present expands to become eternity. Abiding in the present is how we dwell within the presence of God because that is where God exists, in the real. When we become present minded within the presence of God, we enter into eternity. When our minds change; we change. This is gaining the mind of Christ. It’s a state of being connected to and governed by the mind of God; thus the will of God. John 12:26, John 5:30, John 8:28. Abiding in the present is the only place we can truly do the Father’s will because there we are completely governed by Him.

This transformation is the work of Christ in us; who is our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. 1 Corinthians 1:30 It’s the new wine-skins and the new wine. This transformation is becoming as a child to enter into the Kingdom; moving into the present as we abide in absolute trust of our loving heavenly Father. Luke 18:17, Matthew 18:4, Matthew 6:33

Below are some mind-shifts we go through as we transition from a finite flesh mind into an eternal spirit mind. As we shift, we become a light in the darkness as the presence of God becomes our reality in the present. Some of these I’ve discussed in videos; some I have not; but I’m sure I will.  This is an amazing transformation, and above all we have to trust God to direct it and create it perfectly in us. Our part is to listen and follow, starting now. Zech 6:15

The points below lead to living in the present moment and God’s sovereign reign in our minds, thus lives.

  • We DRAW WISDOM from the pure consciousness of God and not from the mass consciousness of mankind. James 3:14-17, John 6:27, 63
  • Our EXPECTATIONS are of the PRESENT moment and are ONLY of the things of the SPIRIT (peace, loving kindness, honor, peace, joy, etc), thus no pre-defined physical images dictated by the mankind’s wisdom. 2 Timothy 2:20-26

(The above discussed in: Reshaping the Mind to Abundant life)

  • We SUBMIT our “FREE-WILL” (not truly free, but our ability to create “desired” images of the future based on our present surroundings and pursue those images) to God and let Him direct our will in everything, as we learn following our will only leads to harm. This submission is the true humility, and fear of God. Luke 9:23-24, Isaiah 57:15, Micah 6:8
  • In the moment, we FOLLOW the PROMPTING that comes to mind (action or words to speak) if it’s best to do it at that time. Otherwise, we recommit the idea/task to God and let Him bring it to mind to do in the future. Psalm 37:5-6, 23 What is best is determined by what aligns to the nature of God (what creates peace, love, kindness, joy, rest). This knowledge of God’s nature is the oil (truth) we need in our lamp (soul) to be lit (connected to Christ). Now you see why; it’s the foundation needed to be able to be present minded. Matthew 25:1-12, John 6:45
    • Thus, planning for the future (lists, goals, etc) is greatly limited; instead we trust God to prompt and direct us daily and keep our expectations of the spirit. Isaiah 55:8-9, Galatians 5:22-23

(The above discussed in: Sabbath Rest and the Eternal Mind)

  • The present creates the future; thus TODAY we ACT on the WISDOM of God that creates peace, love, mercy, joy, honor, etc today. For, tomorrow is created out of today. James 3:18
    • One moment establishes and directs the next, thus we let God establish loving-kindness and peace in this moment by the wisdom He gives us.
  • We FULLY TRUST God to direct our actions/steps each day according to His wisdom. We listen in the awareness of our present and obey. Prov 3:5-6
  • We are AT PEACE and REST as we can abide fully in the present moment without worrying about the next. When we are doing what God directs each moment, we know we are doing the perfect thing at that time; we don’t need to be concerned with doing something else. Isaiah 26:3
  • We trust God with all our SPIRITUAL development; trusting He is working ALL for our good in each moment. Romans 8:28, Psalm 32:10 We listen, learn, and obey His voice more continually in conscious awareness thus moving obedience into our unconscious awareness. And, His mercy covers all as we grow in unity with Him. We trust Him with the increase of our growth; as it’s His work in us. Ephesians 2:10, 1 Corin 3:7 We trust Him to bring to mind the concepts/truths we learn from Him, when we need them. John 14:26
  • By grace, we are PURGED from MINDSETS of HARM that keep us tied to the past, thus to the pit; like blame, personal vengeance, and un-forgiveness. As a child; we lift up those who hurt us to our Father and let Him counsel us and work out the situation for the good of all. Matthew 5:44, Luke 6:35 We follow His instruction and don’t seek personal retribution. Matthew 6:14-15, Romans 12:17-21

(The above discussed in: Letting Go of the Pit )

  • We FOLLOW our NATURAL RHYTHM, thus not hurried/rushed or slowing down (procrastination, etc). Thus, God directs the happenings of our lives; while we let go of trying to control how the future occurs. Jeremiah 8:6
  • Once we commit all our desires to God, God directs us by our desires. Thus, we DO WHAT WE DESIRE, not what we don’t, this is a significant part of loving without hypocrisy. Psalm 37:4-5
  • We SEE ourselves, others, and God in the PUREST of LOVE for we are “seeing” from within the presence of God, who is love. In this “sight”; pure love is sown and grown in the earth. This love entails all the characteristics of God; honor, truth, purity, righteousness, mercy, justice, peace, etc. Thus, all our actions and words are of the intent of the purest of love. 1 John 4:16

We are like trees; we grow. The Kingdom of Heaven is like a tree that grows. Matthew 13:31-32 This transition is a process. Trust your heavenly Father to birth you into His Kingdom perfectly. It’s He who establishes your faith as He assembles the truth, His mind, in you. When God creates your reality, your present, then you are a son of God. Romans 8:19, Romans 8:14

The Purpose of Forgiveness

The Purpose of Forgiveness

Forgiveness is a powerful characteristic of God’s love enabling us to transform into eternal creations.

Forgiveness has been misunderstood as a type of covering so we can remain in sin. Yet, the purpose and gift of forgiveness is to create an environment for us to grow out of sin and into righteousness, thus into eternal creations. Proverbs 12:28 To willingly remain in our sin is to trample on the forgiveness of God. Christ gave us His spirit NOT so we remain in sin/death, but that we would have the power to break free from it.

Forgiveness is the ability to see someone in true love after they have sinned against you. The love absorbs the hurt from their sin; so, if repentant, they can grow and learn in a safe harbor of love. 1 Peter 4:8 True forgiveness is an exchange between two people; one giving forgiveness and the other receiving forgiveness. In this exchange healing occurs.

Atmosphere for Growth

God’s forgiveness provides us an atmosphere to grow. In His love, He forgives us of our wrongs as His love absorbs the hurt we caused so we can stay connected to Him; the One to deliver us from the lies that cause sin. Forgiveness enables the dross, the unrighteousness, to be burned so we can become precious jewels as we were intended to be. Proverbs 25:4 Without it, we could never break free because we would be severed from the source, God, who assembles the truth in us so we can be free from sin. John 8:32

You see, we’ve all been in prison, a prison of our minds for believing lies instead of the truth. Isaiah 42:7 In believing the lies, we act in unrighteousness. When we seek wisdom, truth and love from God; He starts to open our eyes to the lies; thus our unrighteousness. At that point we also understand our need to be forgiven by God. What we find is God’s forgiveness is an ever gushing stream so we can remain in His presence and therefore learn and grow in His righteousness. It’s always there in abundant amounts. It allows God to use our sins and their consequences to teach us and direct us to the paths of life. God remains by our side and leads us out of the pit of lies, rung by rung, that keep us bound and transgressing His perfect will, ways and love.

Thus, the power of forgiveness is to learn the lessons of truth that save us. James 1:21

When we desire to live according to God’s ways, we embrace His forgiveness, thus His love. If we aren’t learning; we aren’t abiding in His forgiveness, but are trampling upon it. Thus to know His love; we must receive His forgiveness. If we receive His forgiveness, our lives show it because righteousness is being sown in our soul. Isaiah 33:6

In forgiveness, God gently works with us transforming us into holy creations. He makes the transition into righteousness peaceful and gentle as we willingly follow His lead. He unravels our twisted soul of lies with the least amount of stress and turmoil. However, if we reject it by not repenting and learning, we face torment that we bring upon our own soul. If there is no repentance, we aren’t accepting His forgiveness. Hebrews 6:4-8 Thus, there is no exchange and no healing.

Forgiving Others

Once we understand and receive the forgiveness God gives, then we give it to others. Luke 6:37-38, 40 For we give what we are and what we have. We do as our teacher.

True forgiveness sees the transgressor in love. Because forgiveness is of love, when we forgive someone it means we are continuing to see them in love. In our love for another, we absorb the hurt they caused as they are trying to grow and learn. In that atmosphere of forgiveness and love; the transgressing soul can grow. If they aren’t trying to grow, repent, then they are harmful to us and we can’t continue to engage them because it only causes harm. Without the repentance; no healing exchange occurs. Matthew 18:21-22

When our hearts are hardened, we don’t or won’t see another in true love.  Instead, because of the hurt they have caused we build spiritual walls that block our love to them. We don’t give them a chance. If we harden our hearts toward others; we also are hardening it toward God, for it’s His will that we forgive. Matthew 6:14

Our forgiveness fosters others’ growth. If we don’t offer forgiveness, we prohibit their growth and ours. John 20:23 We neglect to give the love they need for their soul to heal, thus ours. Matthew 18:18

May we all truly receive and give forgiveness so that we are sowers of righteousness in us and others.

Placebo of Religion vs. True Belief

Placebo of Religion vs. True Belief

John 3:15-16 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

What does it mean for a soul to believe in Christ Jesus?

If you knew there was a treasure in your backyard that would solve all your problems and give you all you desire, what would your response be?

If someone told you that if you took a pill and it would bring perfect health to your body, but you wouldn’t see the affects until you die, what would your response be?

In the first scenario, you would go digging and seeking, wouldn’t you? In the second, you wouldn’t give it a second thought because what would health matter once you were dead?

The Bible tells us of the first scenario, if we truly believe in Christ (the Word of life, truth) then we will have abundant everlasting life. God will make our paths smooth, defeat our enemies, deliver us, heal us, and give us the mind of Christ. To abide in truth, which is love, is a powerful reality. There are MANY beautiful and powerful promises for those who truly trust in God. What’s our response to those powerful words? Do we see most people diligently seeking to know the truth and to discover the paths of life while forfeiting all else to find that priceless treasure? Matthew 13:45-46 Do we see people living out those promises of rest, peace, and rejoicing in all truth?

Placebo of Religion

Do people truly believe in Christ? Or a religion built around the Bible and an image of God? What do people’s actions reveal? James 2:19, 26 One is the true treasure, the other a placebo. A person’s actions testify to their beliefs. Most believe steadfastly in a religion, which crafts an image around God and what it means to be a godly person, while the treasure hunt for truth is largely neglected. 2 Timothy 4:3 Why the blindness when it comes to what it means to believe in Christ? James 2:19  People cling to religion; not Christ, which is a huge difference, yet this difference seems to go mostly unnoticed.

The path of life is narrow and few find it. Matthew 7:13-14 Communing directly with God and learning to hear His voice and obey leads to the path of life. Seems easy, but in a world of lies, it’s much harder than it appears, this is why few do it. A corrupted self-will governed by lies keep people blind from seeing the truth. It keeps them imprisoned by focusing on the wrong things and not the right ones. In deception, you don’t know you are deceived, that is the whole point. To satisfy the longing in their hearts for God, many people have mistakenly fallen for the placebo; they took the pill of religion. It comes to them as the way to God (and an easy way – Satan knows us well); just follow what someone tells you to do and think, instead of learning of God yourself.  However, we reap what we sow. If we reap religion, empty promises await. If we reap righteousness and the presence of God that is what we experience. Hosea 10:12 What a glorious treasure to really dwell in the heart of God’s love.

The pill of religion is a dead end, literally. It’s the most damaging of situations, because people think it leads to life, but it doesn’t, thus they are worse off than before. When you think you’ve found, you stop seeking and the doors that would’ve led you to truth have been blocked. Further, the closer a religion is to the truth the more compelling and imprisoning. Yet, this falsity of religion goes unnoticed because the “testifying results of the truth” have been removed until you die and go to “heaven”; when only then are you righteous, only then do you have abundant life, and only then are you free from suffering and pain. When the results of the belief are removed, how do you know it’s the right belief? The Apostle Paul spoke of results. He talked of the kingdom of heaven within us and what that meant for our lives, right now.

Paul spoke about growing in righteousness. 1 Peter 1:2, 15 If we weren’t, then he said our beliefs were in vain, thus null and void. 1 Corin 15:2 When someone truly believes something it affects him/her to the core. If people believed in Christ and the paths of life, their lives and this world would be totally transformed because true life would be here. 2 Timothy 2:19 Conversely, religion makes excuses to make nil the proof of spiritual health. Suffering and afflictions are accepted as a way of life, not the death Christ delivers us from. When the “testifying results” are removed people can’t see it for the lie that it is. Thus, everything around them remains cloaked in death. Without the contrast of true life no one is the wiser.

God is in us and we in God if we are being transformed glory unto glory. 2 Corin 3:18 When we experience increasing peace, rest, loving kindness, joy, mercy, wisdom, and gentleness beyond ourselves and from our core, then we are growing in truth, in Christ. Then we believe. Do you see His growing righteous love in your soul that is a true transformation and not a forced self-will of goodness cloaked in hypocrisy? Have you received Christ’s testimony; His life of abundant grace, power, and transformation? John 3:33

People believe money brings about certain freedoms, necessities, and blessings in this life. They sacrifice, strive, effort, work and give much of their life to gain money to provide for themselves and their family. They believe money is what they need to get want they need, and their actions reflect that belief.

Do people believe in God like that? Do people give their lives to know Him in truth and spirit as He is, and desire above all to walk in His ways?  Conversely, most find it easier to trust in other things other than God and very difficult to trust in God. As for God, they’ve boxed Him out of their lives by religion.

True belief in God is stifled in a world of lies. When we are imprisoned in darkness how do we see the light? How do we break free from the web of lies in our minds and know the truth of God in all purity, which we truly hunger for?  You’ve seen that darkness in others; you’ve experienced it for yourself. What hope do we have for this world; if so few find the narrow way?

AMAZING HOPE, thanks to the grace poured out to us in Christ in these days. The ability to truly believe comes by the power of God’s spirit in us … which I’ll address next time, God willing.

Cry Out for Mercy

Cry Out for Mercy

God saves us, not ourselves. Therefore, we each are in great need of God’s abundant mercy.

The cry of mercy is a heartfelt cry of wanting nothing of our self-driven life and wanting only the life God has for us. It’s a cry that we are tired of following the dictates of our heart influenced by this world and want to completely follow God. It’s a cry to be governed through and through by God, and thus no longer to govern our own soul. This cry spews from our lips, when we understand the corrupted nature of our self-will and the death and filth it manifests and the perfection of God’s eternal life for us. It’s a desire to forsake all that separates us from God. It’s the response of seeing the truth of ourselves and God. It’s the response to tasting God’s love.

John 12:25 He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life

When we come to this point in our soul, a point of deeply and honestly wanting to forsake our self-driven life/soul (repentance) and follow God in every way, then it’s God who gives us a new spirit. He replaces the old corrupted nature with a nature that’s of Him. In a very real way, we (our self-driven soul) are crucified with Christ, in Christ and then filled with a new spirit like a new operating system. As we can’t birth ourselves into this physical world, we can’t birth ourselves into the spiritual one. It’s all God’s work in us.

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Some doctrines can be somewhat misleading on this point by putting salvation into the hand of people as if it is all their choice. Our part is to ask for mercy, for our self-driven life (flesh) to be crucified, and for God to have mercy and give us eternal life by giving us life through His eternal spirit. But He is the one who gives new life.

Christ died for our sins. He conquered sin and death of that self-driven life that we might be identified with Him in His death and be resurrected to a new eternal life as He was. Our part is to call out to God in mercy to ask for that resurrected life, as we willingly crucify our self-driven one. Galatians 2:20 We lay down our life. God raises us to eternal life as He raised Christ.

To gain the new, we have to let go of the old. But, it’s God who gives the new birth. He is our Father. It’s His doing not ours.

Testimony we are God’s

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

This verse above is the testimony that we are truly born of God … the Spirit of Christ is in us. The Spirit of Christ desires the things of God. It longs for truth; loves the truth. It seeks to do God’s will above all else. It longs to obey God in all areas. It loves God and loves others in purity.

Hebrews 5:9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,

How can you truly obey without abiding in the Bible being instructed by the Holy Spirit on what God desires of you in your life? This is much to important to simply rely on what others tell you God wants you to do.This new spirit is very real. You experience a change in how you operate, think, feel and what you desire. You let go of the self-will that has driven and directed your life since birth, and now you are directed by a new spirit from within. 2 Timothy 1:7

The time of the end is very close. Cry out for God’s mercy, repent (turn from self-will), and ask God for His life to consume yours.

Wilderness Tests – God’s Care

Wilderness Tests – God’s Care

The other morning after nine hours of sleep, I woke up emotionally spent. In my dream, I constantly yelled at everyone around me. They weren’t listening, and I was beyond frustrated. Despite how loud I yelled, they remained unfazed with my concerns and needs (probably because I was being very obnoxious).

When I woke up, I was exhausted from all that yelling. I rarely yell, so I’m not use to it. It’s draining! Does that happen to you – not the yelling part 🙂 – but waking up and feeling the residue of the emotions you had in your dream? I do. Every time it fascinates me how real our dreams are to our bodies.

My dreams often unveil the depths of my subconscious. In them, I face fears, un-dealt with emotions, and desires.

This dream revealed a question deep in my soul, which on a conscious level I didn’t question because I knew the answer – does God truly care for me? In the past, I’ve struggled with this issue because of experiences in my childhood, and often we transfer our childhood experiences with others to God. . .

In my younger years, I often felt that others didn’t care about me; that my concerns and needs didn’t matter. Looking back, I recognize the experiences in childhood that lead to this ill-belief. It’s a very painful thought to own, even some of the time. The reality was people did care, but at certain times my reality was they didn’t. Therefore, sometimes when situations aren’t going as expected, the enemy plays on my past and I question if God really cares for me . . . am I worth caring for?

Sometime ago when those old emotions started to arise, God said very clearly, I care. At His words, a smile danced across my face and my soul was at peace. At that moment, I knew God cared very deeply for me. It was a powerful moment I’ll never forget. Now, I know I only question His care when the raw unfiltered emotions of a child, who wasn’t processing reality correctly, are being triggered. It’s wise to understand why we feel what we do, because most of the negativity comes from past experiences where we didn’t process our emotions correctly.

But because of my past – this “caring” issue is tender in my soul. . .

The reason this dream came up is because of where I’m at right now. I’m going through a wilderness trial. The trial’s purpose is to test my trust in God in the areas that are the hardest for me, and to test how firmly I will stand on His truth when it’s challenged. In these trials, there is a combination of giants (seemingly tough situations) and lies. In the trial, because it’s challenging by nature, we can get weak and vulnerable and that is when our internal enemy strikes with lies.

The only real weapon this enemy has is lies. They aren’t very powerful unless we believe the lies as truth, then they become incredibly powerful. We are attacked in our thoughts in those areas that are vulnerable, for example, God’s care for us. Yet, if we reject the lies, hold onto the truth, then we can stand unwavering. When we truly trust God, then that is ultimate freedom. In this freedom is where He wants to be, thus the testing. God wants us to know without a doubt who He is and who He is to us and that is why we have these tests.

These tests aren’t for God to know my heart because He already knows it, but for me to know. I feel I’m going through this trial at this time because God has taught me so much and is preparing me for His plans that lay ahead. I need to know where I stand. I need to know that my trust is truly in Him and nothing else. It’s like in school where you are given exams to test what you’ve learned before you move onto the next level. These wilderness tests often include being presented with giants as well as lies that reflect issues close to our hearts. Our response to them is everything, because our beliefs reflected in our response are everything.

We can know God’s truth in our head. But do we know it in our heats – where it matters? When characteristics of God are related to a painful past, it can make deeply believing in His promises more difficult. For example, as a child if we are neglected, abused, or abandoned, then it can be difficult to trust that God will always be there, He’ll never leave, and He truly loves and cares.

I thought I knew that He cared for me. But going through this wilderness trial, I sometimes feel Jesus is asleep in the boat while I’m in the middle of the storm. Why is He sleeping, doesn’t He care? In part that is the nature of the trial – in the silence of His voice or actions do we still believe in His promises? Deep down I started to question – doesn’t He care? Why don’t I see His deliverance? If He cared wouldn’t He deliver me now? My internal enemy was trying to plant seeds exploiting issues of the past. Believing God cares is essential, because then we can truly trust Him. I needed to know He always deeply cares therefore it’s put to the test. . . was I going to give into the lies or stand firm on His truth?

I chose to stand on His promises and silence the pounding lies.

A thought, a lie, comes into our minds, and if we are equipped with the truth and connected to God, then we can kill it. If we don’t have the truth and aren’t connected, our minds will feed that lie, it will grow, we’ll act on it, and create havoc in our emotions and lives. In the wilderness, Jesus quickly dispelled the lies presented to Him. Jesus KNEW the truth. It was His truth, so He stood firm.

In preparation for this wilderness trial, God told me 1. to keep my focus on Him 2. Hold onto the truth 3. Be ready for certain lies that pertain to areas close to my heart. He forewarned me that I would be challenged in what I’ve learned. If we are listening, God will warn us – yet even with the warning it still can be a challenge because it hits our most vulnerable spots – that is why it’s a test.

If we do hold onto the truth, our trust and faith grow immensely. The truth is our shield, we are to cling to it and not give lies a foothold in our thoughts. Yet, even if we do start to fall, His mercy is more than enough to carry us through.

Just Don’t Have Time

Just Don’t Have Time

In a conversation with an acquaintance, I was sharing my passion of helping others to develop an intimate relationship with God. I have a long way to go, but I’ve discovered a path that has absolutely changed my life. As I was talking about spending time each day to cultivate that relationship, he said, “That’s great, but who has the time?” Very few people do.

The reason for not taking the time to abide and meditate on God’s Word, pray, talk with Him and be still to hear His voice, is not having extra time in the day. This excuse is probably the number one reason I hear. It used to be mine. But I learned something very important . . .

We don’t have the time because we aren’t making that personal one-on-one time with God a priority.

We all have the same amount of time. It’s OUR choice how we spend it. Now, we may of made a slue of wrong decisions so that we are a slave to so many things that discretionary time is non-existent, but bad choices aren’t written in stone, especially with the power of God at work in your life. God can reconstruct our lives starting today by us making better choices, specifically putting Him first in spending time with Him. This issue of making better choices brings up the first reason why we need to make spending time with God a priority and how that CRITICAL decision gives us more time to do what we need to. There are many reasons, but in consideration of your time – I’ll list four ☺

1. Wisdom – How we all could use more wisdom! God tells us that wisdom is the principle thing and to ask and seek for it. Proverbs 4:5-7 Our life is full of choices every day – and without wisdom from above we will make choices that enslave us instead of free us and keep us from moving forward toward where we REALLY want to go. Without wisdom we make bad decisions that bind us, so that we don’t have enough time for what truly matters. Wisdom comes from abiding the Word of God in faith. Got wisdom, got time.

2. Live of Balance and Rest – God desires us to have a balanced life – not one of chaos, frazzled and hassled– something very few people have as reflected in the fact that they don’t ever have enough time. Throughout the Bible there are verses about how God desires this soul state for us. Abiding is His Word brings this equilibrium into our lives. When we abide in truth, He starts to reorganize our life and priorities, which leads to a life of balance and rest. If we put Him first, He works out the rest. I’ve experienced this truth over and over. Putting Him first, requires trust and letting go, two things that come from cultivating a real relationship with Him. Got balance, got time.

3. Life free of lies – Lies bound and enslave us. The truth frees us. Many of us have bondage in our lives because of the lies we’ve mistaken for truth. We lack the healing and deliverance because we don’t have the truth. Truth heals. This bondage steals our time. For example, we try to prove and earn our worthiness by taking on all sorts of obligations. When you spend time with God each day – the truth starts to replace the lies and freedom is the result.

Women in particular, perhaps because I’m a woman, have fallen for many lies influenced by society about who they should be and what it means to be a successful woman. Ultimately it’s a life demanding EXTREME busyness. It’s an insane standard of existence. Believing those lies has created many unhealthy women on many levels. What is the way out? The truth. The truth comes from drawing near to God, because He is truth. When we draw near to Him, He invades our soul and brings the Truth with Him. Got truth, got time.

4. Power of God – As God invades our soul as we spend time with Him, His power and all that He is starts to manifest in our life. His power enables us to do things we never could; make our paths smooth, surround us with godly favor, makes us more productive and effective, defeats the enemies within and without that cause hardship, brings healing and the list goes on. All these outcomes of His power at work help us to live smoother, more productive, and restful lives. Got power, got time.

We are trying so hard to strive for __________. When we are neglecting the One who can make all the difference in moving us into a place we desire to be.

A life WITHOUT an intimate and growing relationship with God, isn’t life. It’s a mad house of extreme effort and never getting to where you really want to be.

God is life. Only by being deeply and actively in communion with Him do we have true life as well. Because, ONE – He desires to be in an intimate union with us, so it will never work apart from Him. TWO – He desires for us to live a purposeful life glorifying His power and love, the one He uniquely created for us to live. You can’t disconnect the two for together they are the fulfillment of our purpose.

Not making time to spend with God keeps us in a place where we will never have the time. Not having time is no longer an excuse, because it’s the answer. Now rethink and reorganize your day and put Him first. It’s a decision that will put you on a path headed to where you really want to be, consumed in Him and abiding in abundant life.

Breaking the Mold

Breaking the Mold

Spiritual hunger, afflicted souls, unbound wounds, lack of wisdom, famished souls, and constant hardships; bondage seems to be increasing among God’s people.

There are several reasons for these troubles, but I want to address one many may have not considered. Plagues, pestilence, and famine are pronounced upon the House of God in the days of judgment, which I feel we are entering. Jeremiah 24:10 Therefore, it’s essential to examine in accordance to God’s truth our place in the church system (CS). Revelation 18:4 In the end, we are going to see a lot of turmoil in the house of God as the enemy, “Satan” (our deceiving self-will), takes over the sanctuary. Lam 2:7, Jeremiah 25:10 If we are in a place of the “father of lies”, our souls are in a perilous position. John 8:44

Why perilous? First, the CS is an anchor of trust for many people, which in these days is a dangerous place to put your confidence. Church should be like going to the in-laws for a Sunday brunch. We hang out, chit chat, disagree, and encourage. It no way should replace our marriage (our relationship with God). Yet for many, church and religious leaders have moved into people’s lives, where God should be reigning. They have to go or they feel guilt or unfulfilled. It is their spiritual nourishment, focus, and priority and for that they have fallen for the lies and their marriage has suffered.

Second, the Bible says a multitude of leaders will lead many astray by their unrighteous deception (lies posing as God’s truth). One of the most effective deceptive tactics is twisting God’s Word just enough. (A good reason to be leery of the recent Bible translations that are moving further and further from the original manuscripts.) If we are under a leader’s influence, who is knowingly or unknowingly given into lies, we aren’t giving our spirits much of a chance. If that is our trust and our place of truth, then we will fall prey to the deception. Jeremiah 23:16-17, 34, 40 A wolf in sheep’s clothing looks like a sweet, caring, innocent sheep, remember that.

God doesn’t want any to fall for this deception. He has given us what we need His truth – it is OUR LOVE for the TRUTH that will save us. But we need to take heed to it. 2 Thessalonians 2:10

Being in CS is one of those beliefs Christians rarely question, I never did. Because of the lack of questioning and the pressure to conform, people remain where they are despite what is happening in their spirit. They ignore or justify what they feel. However, there are a growing number of believers who are seeking greener pastures. Being prompted by the Holy Spirit and seeking the truth from God’s Word, they are leaving the CS. Not the true church, which they are actually are clinging more to and becoming. They are moving into the green pastures of God’s Word and into the true church. This move isn’t easy because of the pressure and other various reasons, but it’s the call on their hearts.

Inquire of God about your place in the CS and be willing to hear any answer. I recommend taking a break for 3-6 months from the CS and abide faithfully in God’s pure Word (like the KJV) every day to hear and discern His voice among the others. Seek to know and draw near to His heart, He’ll reveal it to you. If God is truly your trust and not the CS, you’ll be able to take a break. I suggest this because if you are seeking while under the influence of the father of lies you aren’t giving your soul much of a chance to really hear. Don’t think that you are stronger enough, deception is called deception for a reason. Seeking takes time as you read the books of the prophets who foretold these days (i.e. Jeremiah, Isaiah, Amos, Revelation), and trust God to teach you. He is an incredible Teacher. There is nothing more important, because it affects your soul and those around you. I once assumed that to be a Christian was to be in the CS. It was an error that kept me in deep bondage. God has taught me something quite different and it changed my life.

Don’t be afraid to ask questions like:

Why am I in the CS, really?

Have I really sought God’s will about it for today, the time we are in?

Do I go because of that’s what I do? That’s what others do? That is what a Christian does? Why do I think that? Because others say so, my pastor says so? Because it is God’s will? Have I really sought His will?

Have I read God’s pure Word seeking His will – and not only listened to a person’s interpretation of it?

If I were to stop going, how would I feel? Why do I feel that way?

Who do I really trust? To nourish, protect, counsel, and provide for my spiritual needs? The CS on some level?

Where does God really want me?

Do I make abiding in God’s Word a priority in my own quiet time?

God desires none should fall prey to deception. He has told us what to do, how to fight and now to conquer any harm that might come our way – a LOVE for His TRUTH is our guard and defense. But we must own it and act on it. We are to abide in it with faith and a heart to follow God’s truth and no one else’s. You have nothing to fear, if you are truly seeking Him and His truth in His pure Word.
