Immortal Joy

Immortal Joy

space

Immortal joy comes through the immortal choice.

The immortal choice is to choose the unceasing experience of divine love, thus supreme joy. This choice manifests as our heavenly Father’s will absorbs our will, so that we are no longer governed by our self-determined will of our self-made mind.

Immortal joy is sustainable and increasing joy. It’s the summation of the experiences of a reality totally crafted by our Father’s will, which flows through us as if our own will.

Have you been to Disneyland, the Magic Kingdom? It’s a place of tremendous joy for children. It’s full of amazement, adventure, and delights, and everything is crafted specifically for their enjoyment. Every experience is created for them so they can freely partake of the wonderments, as they desire. So is our Father’s kingdom. His will creates all of our experiences and we freely partake of the insurmountable joy they bring.

Becoming Children of Immortal Joy

This mortal experience is the beginning of the creation of our individuality. Starting with a completely blank canvas, as we remember nothing of our origin, we begin our journey. Upon entrance, our will, which is our ability to choose, shapes and is shaped by the experiences of this mortal realm. This dynamic forms the constructs of our mind creating a self-made mind.

With a self-made mind, we experience a life separate from the governance of our Father’s will, thus a separation from divine love. This experience reveals the limitations and weaknesses of a self-directed will and the mind it creates. Because of the lack, this mind casts a shadow of darkness that encompasses us like the cloud following us wherever we go, like the character Pig Pen and his cloud. It taints what we see, how we see it, thus the choices we make. In the absence of divine love, we also have an absence of truth, and this lack governs the choices of our will so that we continue to experience a lack of our own creation.

Eventually, this lack causes us to seek and long for something more, different, better, or greater. At some point on our journey, we are drawn to our original Source through a sincere desire for perfect love and/or absolute truth. As our will starts to turn toward this Source, what governs our will starts to change. Truth and love start to transition our soul through the Spirit of truth and love emanating from our Father, our true Source. And this inner working starts to reshape our will, thus our mind into a spirit-mind.

As we continue to grow in truth and love, our will becomes absorbed into our Father’s will. This change refashions our mind in truth and love, and in this transformation we experience divine love. We now know what is of this love and what isn’t, so that we willing and freely choose this love, which entails our will being absorbed into our Father’s perfect will. With this choice, our individuality starts to become completed. When our spirit-mind forms, our self-made mind fades until it becomes only a memory held within our spirit-mind. This severance from our self-made mind is when we experience the reality of a new birth of a soul of light, for all that we are is governed by the light. We will always have a free will; it’s a necessary part of our individuality and our ability to love. The difference is the source (Source) that directs our will.

As we become a soul of light, which leads to an oneness with our heavenly Father, our immortal joy begins to manifest. His will not only governs our intentional will, but all that is occurring within our reality. This sovereign reign puts us in a reality of immortal harmony as only he can create perfect cause leading to perfect effect, which leads to the next perfect cause. And as this domino effect continues, our reality expands through immortal harmony. This makes our reality, his reality, which is his kingdom; a kingdom of immortal joy.

Within our soul of light, his reign begins at our point of origin; the very beginning of all that we are. The point of our origin is also the origin of our will. In coming into the fullness as a child of God, through the coming forth (birth) of our soul of light, we gain his divine love as our new point of origin. Thus, we also gain a new point of origin for our will, his will. This is an incredible blessing and an absolutely beautiful reflection of our Father’s goodness toward us. Because it’s at our point of origin, we experience his will as our will. Therefore, there is no more error or stumbling around in the dark. The dark existed only to reveal and teach us about the light, and caused us to freely choose the light for all eternity, thus to give our will over to the complete governance of our Father. In this, we experience his will, which is always good and perfect, as our will. Now our individuality of will is coming out of a point of perfection, so all that follows is perfection. Because his governance feels like our will, we think, speak and act in our individuality in complete freedom. Within his absolute governance, our individuality is completed; for it is completed when his perfect love directs it. Thus, we become souls of light living love.

Our Father is soul, from which emanates his spirit. As soul, he enters and becomes a part of this creation through an oneness with our soul as he revealed in Christ Jesus. The oneness manifests as our will is absorbed into his will. This is how he, an invisible God, manifests in his creation. His kingdom come, his will be done. And this oneness sets us eternally free from a self-made mind, which though necessary becomes only a memory.

By taking governance of our free will as we freely give it, because we know what is love and what isn’t and our own limitations, is how he brings peace to earth and good will to humankind. His will is very good and creates peace, and through our oneness with him, we have the honor of experiencing a reality in which we serve as peacemakers as his reign flows through our will now immersed in his.

People fear losing their “freedoms” in “surrendering” to a Higher Power, but the opposite is true. We gain the freedom we always desired; the perfection expressions of our individuality, which can only occur in divine love. Our Father only wants us to experience a reality of perfect love, for this is the true purpose and expression of the soul, for the soul is created to give and receive love.

This exchange of wills, thus gaining a new mind which is governed by the inclinations of our perfect Father, quite literally places us in a new reality that is fashioned by our Father. His governance creates our experiences of peace, growth, harmony, and love that fill us with an immortal joy. And when all souls are in this oneness, our joy is complete. Supreme joy is found in oneness, oneness for all, so that God is all in all. This is his Magic Kingdom.

How many times have we heard this song? And how much more understanding do we have of its meaning, when we see how he comes through a connection of oneness with our soul.

Joy to the World , the Lord is come!

Let earth receive her King;

Let every heart prepare Him room,

And Heaven and nature sing,

And Heaven and nature sing,

And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.

Joy to the World, the Savior reigns!

Let men their songs employ;

While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains

Repeat the sounding joy,

Repeat the sounding joy,

Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.

No more let sins and sorrows grow,

Nor thorns infest the ground;

He comes to make His blessings flow

Far as the curse is found,

Far as the curse is found,

Far as, far as, the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace,

And makes the nations prove

The glories of His righteousness,

And wonders of His love,

And wonders of His love,

And wonders, wonders, of His love.

Divine Love’s Causality

Divine Love’s Causality:

The Breath of Life

Space

The harmonizing of our soul condition and life choices to divine love testify to its presence within us. In this, we come to understand, thus abide in divine love’s causality.

Our entire existence is defined in cause and effect relationships. Our disharmony, (pain, suffering, fear, lack, etc) is caused by harmful causes, ones that are counter to the workings of perfect love. Divine love creates perfect causes in our lives that lead to perfect effects, which in turn creates more perfect causes. This is how this supreme love creates immortal harmony.

When we begin to transform by divine love, which begins with a drop of this liquid light, our causes start to be governed by divine love. This creates the sequence I described above. It takes ownership of our causes, our inner-most desires and longings, and works out the perfect effect from a myriad of probabilities. Something we could never do on our own. In this, we no longer abide in error; the effects of ill causes. Instead we experience growth and expansion. Through this process our heavenly Father shapes our reality, making it a reality without corruption, thus one he can abide in and move through. Eventually, our soul is consumed with his love, so that our lives are totally shaped by divine love’s causality. His breath of life becomes our breath.

In obtaining this divine love, we are a part of our perfect Father. To prepare us for this sacred union, the initial inflow of this divine love prepares us by sowing our souls in attributes reflective of our heavenly Father. This preparation shapes our lives in purity, thus pushing out corruption from our realities. In this he is preparing his home within our soul, a home sown in honor, and all his beautiful characteristics. This translates into a deep purging and purifying of our soul and every effect that flows from our souls.

Of our own strength and ability, we know we can’t love perfectly as our universal Father does in his divine love. Yet, we can love perfectly in the finiteness of our present moments when this divine love finds fluidity within our soul. It finds its home in our soul through our sincere longing and desire for it, a desire for our spiritual parent’s divine love to govern every breath. This union follows a submission of our self-will (or our self-determination) to the all-consuming will of our Father, which his divine love gently leads us into. Throughout this process, we experience the very nature of this love, as we experience how this love tenderly unites to our soul. In this we experience how very precious we are to him.

Divine love never changes though it’s uniquely expressed through our individual personalities. In its immutability, we are the ones who are changed so that we can experience it and know its nature, thus know an individual intimacy with our eternal perfect Father.

Living divine love is like breathing. We do it without conscious awareness, though at times we are conscious of its fluidity through our lives and into the lives of others. As we expand from our soul outward in this love, we realize it doesn’t succumb to our expectations. It doesn’t conform to our limited thoughts, but it’s formed by what is perfect for us and others. This love is shaped by the thoughts of our loving Creator, thus by thoughts that are far beyond our thoughts. Therefore, it flows in perfect yet unpredictable ways in our lives and in the lives of others. This is how it exposes the absolute/divine truths to us. In the contrast occurring within us, before and after the presence of this love in our souls, we see the truths it moves by. It takes us on paths we never would have journeyed, into relationships we would have passed by, and into places in our soul we never knew existed. Thus for it to flow in and through our lives, we must be comfortable and accept its unique workings. Therefore, we don’t control its expression in what we “should do” or “shouldn’t do”. This love doesn’t respond in “should-do” (obligatory love), but only in a desire to love another. It doesn’t do what it doesn’t want to (hypocrisy); it only acts from a desire to love another. As we abide in a sincere care for others that this love gives us, the love governs the expressions of that care through our unique personalities.

In this union of trust, our soul is knit to our Father’s soul in an ever-expanding unity. Divine love continues to expand in its forms of expressions through us so that it consumes every aspect of our being. It’s the breath of life, for love is the creative energy of harmony, which is the progenitor of continuance of life of an eternal being.

In this progression of divine love transforming our souls, it creates a new reality around us, a reality without corruption. It’s a reality that is always increasing in beauty, peace, and rest for our souls.

Our perfect spiritual Father is right here with us, in this present moment, the eternal present. Selah. In the present, we cross the barriers of the time and space continuum, and we encounter his living reality as our own, and no longer an alternate reality crafted by our minds. As his love grows, it expands our capacity to abide in this present moment by eradicating all fear. Fear or perceptions of lack in our present moments takes us out of the present moment and puts us in an unreality of past memories and future expectations. Overtime, as we continue to grow in this love and all fear is expelled, we abide ever more in his presence in the present until an immortal harmony is formed between our soul and his in the eternal present.

Jesus Christ’s faith brought into our finite mortal awareness this divine love. He lived the truth of this divine love, and made it a reality for all in this earth-life existence and beyond. In his faith, he acted upon the spiritual truths that enabled us to know and receive this divine love. He opened our eyes and souls to this potential of living in divine love now. In this awareness and gift of potentiality, our transformation begins from an unreality of separation into the reality of divine love, the living reality of our universal perfect heavenly loving Father.

Extending our Souls to Love

Extending our Souls to Love

space

Each moment brings us to a place of choice. Our lives are constantly exposed to choices; some significant and some seemingly insignificant, which in totality create our lives at this present moment. Though as I’ve learned, there are no insignificant choices. The smallest ones lead to impactful outcomes.

Choice is a freedom we’ve been given. But it’s a freedom that can lead to bondage or more freedom. Choice is what gives shape and expression to our individuality. But our choices can suppress or enhance our individuality. Our response to life’s circumstances is always a matter of choice. Choice is a big deal, and thus may we all “choose wisely”.

The Choice for Divine Love

The choice above all choices presented to us that in turn impacts every other choice, is the choice to be partakers of the divine love of our heavenly Father. It’s a choice because love is voluntary. This choice progresses our soul development to find an oneness with our heavenly Father.

Though significant, this choice is only the beginning of many more, which in their connectivity continually manifest the beauties of divine love in our lives.

Divine love is established on immutable truths. Thus to come into our Father’s love, we will be presented with these truths and whether we will embrace them or not. We are mutable and our heavenly Father, his love, and truth are not. We are the ones that choose to come into harmony with him, and not him with us. His essence is harmony. It seems self-evident when spoken, but we all have lived as if our Father’s love, thus truth, morphs to our ways and the “truths” we live by. In regards to our heavenly Father, there is only one direction of change, our lives toward his divine love. If we embrace his truths by acting in living faith until they are our truths, then we experience an ever-increasing awareness and genuineness of his divine love in our lives.

Knowing that divine love is the creative force of harmony, when we experience disharmony, in whatever form, it’s a moment for self-examination to the cause of the disharmony, so it may be replaced with what creates harmony. In this contrast of what causes harmony and disharmony, we begin to learn of the spiritual laws of our Father. Every “law” serves love. It’s in the contrast of understanding what is of harmony and what isn’t that teaches us to choose what is of harmony, thus the truths of our Father, until we find an immortal harmony with him.

Accepting Divine Love

As we progress along our faith journey into divine love, one of our biggest acts of faith is accepting HOW our heavenly Father’s loving-kindness works in our individual daily lives. It’s the acceptance of his timing and timeline for our lives, his manner of working and moving in and through our lives, and the outcomes along the way that occur as a result of his divine love at work in our lives. When we choose to find an acceptance, thus harmony, with the workings of his love in our lives, then we find a peace in our souls that transcends a mere mortal understanding for we are flowing with the perfect workings of our Father. And the end results of his workings are freedom, peace, love, beauty, harmony, joy, contentment, and every glorious expression of life we desire to dwell in.

Our heavenly Father’s love for us knows no end, thus he never “gives up on us” for that is contrary to the very nature of divine love. And, we aren’t ones who are ever “looked over” for our insignificance at any time, for that mindset doesn’t exist in his divine love, for we are greatly valued by him. This love isn’t something we have to gain or earn, but something we simply have to realize has always been with us desiring us to draw near. For love to be made manifest in an individual’s life it has to be given and received. Thus, two souls both have to extend their soul to the other. If love isn’t extending from both, then the unifying nature of love isn’t established and the harmony that grows out of that unity isn’t manifested. Our Father’s love is always outstretched to us. May we extend our soul in love back to him by choosing to come into harmony with his truth and love. May we trust in his bountiful grace to create this fulfillment as it carries us through every weakness.

Learning of and accepting the Father’s love for us sounds simple, but with the myriad of lies that we hold as truth this depth of awareness of his divine love is initially unknown to us, and therefore acceptance isn’t possible. We can only accept and respond to what we know. Thus, what is required is our own individual journey of faith. It’s a journey of seeking divine truth and/or divine love, walking by what we learn in faith until those truths become a part of our soul substance. Along this journey, no matter where we start from, his guiding hand leads us out of the blindness of our own mind and into an ever-growing awareness, thus reality, of the perfection of his love.

There is no separation in divine love. We only have a perception of separation because of our lack of awareness. But, as we seek and learn truth and love in our lives, we will encounter this immutable truth of divine love. Understanding this love on a personal soul level is what enables an acceptance of this love. And in that acceptance we are completely transformed by it from the inside out.

Our heavenly Father is always influencing us to a full acceptance of his love for then the circle of unity is completed; we receive his love and in that love he receives our love. It’s an inseparable bond that causes us to be an immortal being.

As I mentioned, a significant part of accepting this love is letting go of our expectations about how our lives are taking shape, and learning to trust our Father with our expectations. This trust takes time to develop. Yet, it’s in this deep letting go and therefore deep active trust that we find undeniable peace, a deep soul development, and increasing awareness thus expansion of divine love in our lives. Giving our trust into our perfect loving Father’s hands is the most glorious freeing experience we can know in this earth life. In this trust, we release our limited perspectives of our situations and trust the perfect working of our Father’s loving kindness, a love that works in ways we would never have thought of or considered. In this we choose to embrace his love, the truth, and reality that he IS working perfectly in our lives.

This understanding totally change how we view our circumstances, situations, encounters, relationships, and self-progression because we see all moving along his path, at his timing and in his ways, not “our” path. He is moving us in ways that are perfect for our soul development, thus a growing harmony and oneness with himself.

Our experience of divine love is our personal witness that we have found the truth, for divine love testifies to its truth. Once we’ve experienced this divine love by coming into accordance with it, then our search is over for truth, for all truth flows out of this love. What follows is a continual exploration of going deeper into truth, thus love, in the realm of our heavenly Father.

An Algorithm for Abundant Life

An Algorithm for Abundant Life

(Related to Post: Self-Perfecting Mind)

Here is a driving equation of a mind being fashioned by God; thus one who is spiritually maturing and ascending …

An algorithm for abundant life:

HUMILITY >>TRUTH >> HARMONY >> GROWTH = abundant LIFE

TRUTH = is and consists of truthful data points, as well as the accurate connection and networking of those data points. The stringing together of data points creates understanding, which crafts our perceptions, which is light. If we perceive in truth, we have eyes of light. If we perceive in error, we have eyes of darkness. Matthew 6:22-23 Our perceptions drive our choices and actions, which shape our experience of reality.

This light by which we see is the morning star rising in our hearts. 2 Peter 1:19, Revelation 2:28, 22:16 It’s the spirit that Christ held and reflected of the Divine, perfect wisdom, thus the spirit of Christ. Colossians 1:27, 2:2-3, 3:16 It’s His spirit, spirit of truth, that imparts the truthful data points and the connections between them to our minds. Thus, He is to be our source of wisdom, thus growth, thus abundant life. John 10:10

When we have truthful data points strung together in the correct way, which His spirit creates in us as we diligently seek to learn from Him, then harmony is created. If you hold the truth and so do I, we are of one spirit acting in supporting ways with one another thus in and creating harmony. When there is harmony between two or more entities then growth can occur.  When we have harmony, then our relationship grows, deepens and expands. The growth is life, abundant life. When we grow in our relationship, we experience true and increasing kindness, love, honor, respect, peace, companionship, unity, support, all the elements of abundant life.

Like trees with the right balance of water, light and soil (data elements strung together in the right way and amounts) that create growth, which is life, when we abide in the truths that create growth, our actions produce abundant life.

Wisdom is having understanding in how to implement the truth (data points and their connections) in our lives. Foolishness is thinking we have this understanding when we don’t.

Humility Precedes Wisdom; Judgment (Arrogance) Precedes Foolishness

The beginning of wisdom is humility, which is constant submission to the wisdom of God, because His wisdom is perfect and superior to any other “wisdom”. Proverbs 1:7, 1 Corinthians 3:19 A key to having a humble mind is maintaining the mindset of a neophyte. Someone who is a novice has the humility that she doesn’t know all, and therefore is continually learning and growing.

Once we believe we are an “expert”, we switch from learning in a situation to judging it. A seemingly “expert” mind is one that assumes it knows, thus easily falls into a judgmental mindset instead of humble and teachable. Psalm 25:9 It assumes it knows, thus judges instead of learns from a situation, and as a consequence this mind is blocked from learning what it ought to in the present moment, for every situation can bring deeper understanding.  Thus it’s bound to foolishness for it doesn’t know as it ought and isn’t seeking to learn. It doesn’t realize it lacks the correct or adequate data points or connections, thus foolish is its response. Yet, when we possess a humble mind our ability to learn is infinite.

A Humble Mind is a Spiritually Maturing Mind

Nowhere do we find a humble mind more so than in a spiritually maturing being. It’s a fundamental requirement to and aspect of spiritual maturation. The only way to mature is to be constantly submitting thus learning from the wisdom of God in our present moments. A spiritually maturing mind seeks the wisdom of God, which is always higher thus beyond that spirit’s current understanding no matter how mature it is. This mindset perpetuates that spirit’s growth thus maturity.

The wisdom of God comes out of the present moment. If we are growing, we are more knowledgeable than we were yesterday, thus God can take us into continually deeper layers of understanding than where we were yesterday. Understanding builds upon understanding. See how this works? This is why some less mature don’t understand the revelations spoken by more mature, thus can dismiss them if they’ve fallen into a judging mindset. They lack the required previous levels of knowledge to comprehend a higher level.

This means, like a beginner, we should always be asking questions. For example, we are always seeking what door to go through in our present moment that takes us to the next step along our personal path fulfilling our purpose. Assumptions and expectations based on what we know are fleeting to this mindset, while questions and seeking are the mainstay. If we are of a humble mind, a neophyte mind, we are consistently seeking and asking, thus learning and growing, thus spiritually maturing.

The wisdom of the divine integrated into our souls by the spirit of Christ is our compass. It’s His spirit interacting with ours in our inner person that guides, instructs and leads us down His cogent roads. It’s these roads that create a network of thinking and acting that produce an abundant life.

This algorithm works for every facet of our lives; marriage, relationships, business, health, and home life. For example, as my husband and I learn of data points (mercy, forgiveness, divine love), and learn how they interact within our marriage, they lead to choices and actions that are harmonious with one another, thus we experience growth in our marriage. This growth creates a marriage of increasing abundance (comfort, support, care, peace, beauty, divine love). As we remain humble in our minds, we continually grow in our understanding and thus expand in all those traits that greatly enhance our marriage. Thus the marriage is always getting better. We can apply this to every area of our life. When we do we start experiencing abundant life.

Our minds create our reality. A mind crafted by the wisdom of God is continually creating better present moments, thus life always gets better.

Wedding Day

Wedding Day

(My thoughts are beyond words today … so here is a pale reflection of the incredible beauty I am experiencing.)

“So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”

Matthew 19:6

The Harmony of Life

Harmony. True harmony is born out of a life-giving spirit. It’s a word to describe the perfect alignment of all things between living spirits. In harmony, the good for all is manifested in the present moment, which leads to the continuous perfection of all in the following present moments. In the harmony of living spirits, creation comes into harmony, for creation is the reflection of the spirits’ realities. It creates a fortified reality, as there is no division created by disharmony. There is nothing more powerful. Matthew 7:24

Harmony is created by the synergy of the characteristics of perfect character; the divine character of the heavenly Father.

To manifest harmony in our lives requires one dynamic; harmony of our character (spirit) with the heavenly Father’s character (spirit). (Regeneration of Thought) In this harmony, all else that is good flows. The perfect character within grows out of understanding and wisdom from the spirit of Christ in us (who is our teacher, wisdom, purified conscience). Understanding and wisdom are the powers of transformation for through them divine character is shaped, molded, and created.  Proverbs 4:7, 16:16

When our character begins to take on the heavenly Father’s character, our thoughts begin to be His thoughts, our desires His desires, leading to our words being His words, our actions His actions … thus harmony is created within us. Psalm 37:4 In bearing His character, we bear His name for we are His reflection, His offspring. Revelation 14:1

This harmony is the light of life for in harmony all souls are supported, loved and cared for in such a way that creates perfect growth. A harmonious union is a place where there is no hypocrisy in what you desire and what the heavenly Father desires for you. There is perfect integration of wills; your will in full submission to His, and His will a complete fulfillment of your desires (will). This causes exponential growth into eternity.

When this harmony is found in you; then it’s reflected outside of you in your perceived reality.  To be this harmonious spirit is to be light. Matthew 5:14-16 The heavenly Father’s presence within is reflected in your reality without.

Bringing the Divine into Reality

When two souls both abide in this harmony with the heavenly Father, then a powerful spirit is generated between them. Two harmonious spirits coming together bring the divine spirit formed within them to the outside because there is a place for that spirit to be connect to on the outside; the other harmonious spirit.  While alone we can reflect His nature that is within us, joined to another His spirit can enter reality, and not only be a mere reflection. This is Christ, the perfection of divine nature within us, abiding in our midst. Matthew 18:20

Sacred Marriage Union

When those two souls are one a male and another a female, they bring an even more powerful spirit of the divine into creation as these two parts represent the fullness of God; a life-creating spirit. The nature of God in this creation is represented in the unity of an ever-perfecting male and female; who together are able to bring forth life. Genesis 1:27

When two internally harmonious souls are purified and sanctified in an all-consuming desire for one another; in that they desire their spirit to fully become a part of the other; the framework of a sacred marriage is found. It’s a marriage formed by God, for His spirit created their unity, and a marriage that holds the presence of God. It’s a union created by life, in life, of life, and creating life.

This essential singleness of desire for one another in all purity, honor and beauty is formed out of complete loyalty and trust, as all others are forsaken. All others are forsaken even in their thoughts; for the thoughts are coming from a perfecting character. Matthew 5:28

All others are forsaken, even the most exemplary external images they can imagine of each other. For God to be in the midst of a union there can be no images (defined shapes or realities of the physical world) defining or driving the marriage union for God Himself has no images. Thus, for Him to be in the midst there can be no images of what that union will be. Therefore, in the present moment, the two see a manifestation of the heavenly Father in the physical; yet there is an awareness that the next moment is God’s creation and not their own, thus they cling to no image. (To be in a harmonious relationship with God means He is creating each present moment and not us by preconceived images.)

All else is forsaken, even the past.  By forsaking the past, the character of God within each individual is able to create what it will, unhindered by past affections or pains.

All that defines and drives this sacred union between two souls is the ever-expanding perfect character of the heavenly Father expressing Himself in His creation. In the created world, in their midst, now abides the presence of God within their harmonious connection; which stands as a wall of fire.

When harmonious unions are formed between souls, the Day manifests. It is bringing the kingdom of heaven from within out; the revelation (revealing) of Jesus Christ in creation.

Psalm 118: 24 This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Eternal Love Leading to Eternal Life

Eternal Love

Leading to Eternal Life

How does one cross the infinite chasm between death and life?

This question is the journey of our earthly lives. Its path involves obtaining an inter-working of truths gained from the situations of our lives and the instruction of the Spirit of Truth. All learning leads to one glorious truth; the heavenly Father’s eternal love brings us into eternal life. His love reaches across the chasm and meets our desire to be loved and to love perfectly.

Though this is our journey, many souls neglect sojourning this pilgrimage and get caught up in trying to beautify this death experience. However we try to alter it, it’s still death. Matthew 13:1-23 What fulfills us is our souls being filled with eternal love, thus leaving behind our death existence and reaching for one beyond it. John 14:2-3 This death phase of our soul’s journey is to teach us. When we learn and share what we need to, it comes to an end.

The path to eternal life is knowing eternal love. John 17:3

The Greatest Gift We Give

The greatest gift we can give the heavenly Father is ironically the only gift we can give One who possess’ all – our desire to love Him perfectly. What gift can a helpless child give his Dad? That no one else can? A true desire to love him. And each child’s love is unique, precious, and irreplaceable. Matthew 18:13-14

I say desire because when we seek the fusion of truth and love within us, thus in our lives, what we discover is that we can’t love anyone perfectly. Therefore, we face the infinite chasm to perfect love (eternal life). A little recap, perfect love means perfect obedience to the heavenly Father’s will; for His will is love in all things and in all situations. Obedience entails knowing and doing His will at all times. Therefore, to love perfectly requires all knowing and understanding, which we created beings don’t possess. Therefore, we can never love Him or anyone perfectly of our own accord; a love that is synonymous with eternity.

Yet what we CAN possess is the deep soul desire to love perfectly. And it’s the only possession we need; a desire to love in all sincerity, honor and truth the heavenly Father and all of creation; which is His. This desire leads to the bridging of the gap between death and life.

The Father tells us He will give us the desires of our heart IF our delight is in Him. Psalm 37:4 This promise is our deliverance; doing what we never could. He is love. Thus, in delighting in Him, we desire the purest of love. This desire the Father will fulfill. Luke 12:32 In His timing when His Son rises in us, He makes us into creations who although have finite understanding possess divine love. Impossible for us, but not for Him. Mark 10:27

Seeking Leads to a Desire to Love

The seeking to know the true heavenly Father beyond all mankind’s concepts, portrayals and images of this Supreme Spirit leads to seeking the very essence of pure love and truth and the fusion of the two. At the onset of our seeking, we do not fully desire all that He is. False images create fears that keep us distant. But as we press on, we come to know His glorious character, and the desire to be consumed by Him bubbles up in us. A hunger for truth and love forms within; a hunger that pushes us on until we are filled. Matthew 5:6

If you have this desire you are greatly blessed; for you will be fulfilled.

As we seek for this love and truth within and without, we begin to see glimpses of it at our Father’s instruction. Without His instruction to each one of us, we remain blind to this love/truth that is hidden from our minds that are overran with lies and deception.  Thus, we lack a true desire for it. John 6:45 But as we seek, His light shines within our internal darkness and we see there is another existence for us; an eternal existence in an eternal love. We come to a moment that consumes every following moment; a moment when we desire nothing else but to have His love within us so we can love perfectly. We willingly let go of every aspect of our existence that hinders this love from manifesting; thus everything contrary to it. It’s this magnificent love that causes us to forsake all that mimics life, leap across the chasm, and take a hold His outstretched hand.

To make the leap requires an intimate knowing the TRUE heavenly Father, spirit of perfect love. In this knowing of His love, we come to trust Him fully, which we need to make the leap because we don’t know where the River of His governance will carry us. We leap when our will is for His will to fill every breath. It’s a full abandonment to our expectations; except that abiding in His love creates perfection.

As, we press into Him, we find the consummation of all our desires in Him and fulfilled by Him. Thus, He gives us His eternal love that leads to eternal life.

The Truth and Your “Truth”

The Truth and Your “Truth”

There is The Truth; The Truth of God. It’s what is truly real in this universe and beyond. Then there is each one of our truths, which are our unique perspectives on this world. No one views this world the same, which is amazing when you consider it. There are groups of people who view certain concepts similarly, but even among those, there are differences.

Most don’t consider these differences. For the most part in day to day normal interactions, we assume others see the world as we do. Yet, we all see life differently, and how we see it is truth to us, but that doesn’t mean it’s THE Truth; in fact, it never fully is. Our unique perspectives are a mix of different viewpoints of The Truth, as well as lies. The proportions of these vary for each of us.

How did we get this way? What is solution to the cohesiveness we seek? Why does it matter?

How did we get this way?

We each have different lenses affecting how we look upon this world. The makeup of our lenses comes from a wide variety of sources; our genetics, family, culture, society, heritage, media, teachers, experiences, religion, and so on.  Ultimately, it’s mostly the influence of others in some way shaping our beliefs and perspectives.

It’s my belief that God desires to shape us with The Truth removing all else, otherwise He wouldn’t tell us to seek for it above all else. Proverbs 4:7 When we diligently seek The Truth from the Creator Himself, He slowly opens our eyes to it. As a loving God who desires to be known by His creation, if we seek then He will reveal. Matthew 7:7 Over time, The Truth starts to replace our own mixed truth. However, being in this world surrounded by a multitude of influences, this relearning is an extensive process and takes patience and perseverance. To truly alter our beliefs isn’t a straightforward endeavor. It’s an intricate process for each one of us dependent upon the lies we believe. However, knowing and living by The Truth is the only path to becoming who we were created to be and living in peace, harmony and true love.

Realizing everyone is operating from a different perspective can lead to compassion, patience and willingness to understand their unique view. It can help us have a bigger picture of The Truth when directed by God. But challenges will persist, because we are all different as we operate based on varying realities. In our ability to have such different outlooks on life, it can broaden our understanding, but it also can foster misunderstandings and miscommunication. We can never truly walk in another’s shoes, only our own. We can seek to understand, but that is it. To truly know another’s perspective, we can not.

What is the solution to the cohesiveness we seek?

The problem with operating in our own reality or by our mixed truth is that it doesn’t work. Take a look around, you’ll see how true this statement is. You don’t have to look far; look at your own life. Following our own mixed truths and not seeking to follow The Truth doesn’t foster a harmonious and unified world. God created this world and it was good. Genesis 1 If we functioned as He designed, then we and this world would function very well. If we all were in line with one will, God’s will, things would look totally different. They would be much better, which is an understatement.

The problem is we all have followed our own way and not sought God’s way. Isaiah 53:6 In our extremely limited and warped understanding, we don’t know what is truly beneficial for ourselves much less others, as all we do has ripple effects. This dynamic doesn’t equate to a good outcome for anyone. How many decisions do we make in a day? How many are based totally on THE Truth? Who can possibly know what decision is best for all?

The One who does know is God. When we believe more in line with His Truth, then we act more in line with His Truth in the uniqueness of our characters. This is why our work is to believe in God and The Truth. John 6:29 Only by living life according to His will, do we do what is truly best for all. We’ve shown we can’t walk in His will perfectly on our own, so the solution? God gives us His Spirit, to move through us according to His will, which is bound by true love.

Yet, anyone who has truly sought God, knows this unity with God is a process and not easy. So in the meantime, God generously gives us His mercy, which reaches to the heavens. Psalm 57:10 He gives mercy in perfect proportion to sustain us and yet keep us groping for Him as we seek to be freed from the suffering we’ve manifested in our lives. How dependent we are upon His mercy. How grateful I am for it. Psalm 130:3

Despite our great imperfections and struggle on this path to abiding in God’s Truth, we need to diligently persist to seek the indwelling spirit of God. God rewards those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 Seeking His face is the path to having His Spirit dwell within us. It’s a lifelong journey as we are transformed glory unto glory, and in my opinion it’s the only worth while way to live. 2 Corinthians 3:18

Why does it matter?

It’s God’s will that we are united to Him because it’s life to all. To remain abiding in lies causes pain and destruction to us and others for we each play a part in the outcome of this world.

God has made a way to Truth. The more Truth that we believe, the more our lives are a blessing to ourselves and others. Seeking and abiding in His Truth is the journey that God requires of us to walk. Matthew 7:14. We are to seek The Truth from Him, the source of Truth. When He is our Teacher, there is unity with others regarding The Truth because He is instilling in us the same Truth.

Jesus was an embodiment of the Truth. May we seek and not grow weary to be like-minded with Him, for this is the path to life, harmony, peace, and true love.

Lost Art of Reflection

Lost Art of Reflection

Journaling = connecting and listening to your inner life.

In this busy world, who has time to sit down and reflect on life? Most people don’t. We obsess about things (now we were treated, worrying about the future, children, marriages, work and so on) as we busily try to get through the day, but that isn’t reflection. That obsessive mind talk is our soul creating mayhem because we haven’t given it time to truly process what is going on.

This world has moved far from God’s truth. With our self-wills running wild without the truth to guide us, we are creating all kinds of evil, madness, and out of control behaviors. And one is a busyness and lifestyle so consuming that we have no time to engage in the art of reflection; an art that brings harmony, centeredness, and truth to our lives. A life of reflection is a vital aspect of spiritual health.

The art of reflection is taking time to journal. Why journal? Because for most of us when we think without the guidance and focus of a pen or a keyboard our minds wander so that we can’t complete the thought we started with. Writing guides and grounds our thoughts. It puts a thought in a form we can grab a hold of and contemplate. Without the pen, we end up with a mind swarming with broken and uncompleted thoughts. Journaling allows a thorough reflection of what’s going on in our spirits and how the outside world, circumstances and people are affecting us and how we are affecting others. It allows us to process what is going on, to reflect and mediate on it. We start to see ourselves, others and situations from a clearer perspective – and when we dwell in the presence of God we see more inline with the truth. For Christians the act of reflection is extremely powerful because it isn’t just us trying to work out what is happening in our inner world, but we have the spirit of truth, the spirit of God, searching our depths and giving us the ability to see the truth.

In his book, “Ordering your Private world”, Gordon MacDonald realized how journaling helped him to come “to grips with an enormous part of his inner person that he had never been fully honest about.” I found this very true in my own life. There have been numerous times when I have sat down to write in my journal that I gained tremendous insights into myself and my situations. I thought an issue was about one thing and it ended up being about something else. Sometimes it amazes me what is truly going on in my soul, and I often wonder where I would be if I hadn’t taken the time to stop and reflect. I would probably still be trapped in my old ways of thinking and acting in a stupor and that means doing things I wish I hadn’t and creating a life I didn’t want. Once aware of the truth then we can act and respond in a way that fosters truth and life and not lies and death.

Journaling within the presence of God brings truth and thus freedom and true life to our lives. It is a time of quiet and focus which allows us to hear not only ourselves but the spirit of God dwelling in us shedding light, wisdom and truth into our souls.

If you don’t journal or haven’t in a long time, now is the time to start.
