Every one of us is always a teacher and always a student.
Owning this truth provides an endless expansion to our souls in truth and love. It instills an internal humility and courage that opens up an abundance of understanding, growth and enlightenment. It brings clarity to our nature and our purpose. It manifests itself in an endless number of ways.
The attribute of divine love is a great revealer, healer, and liberator at work within our soul. It moves into our soul through the workings of the Holy Spirit, who reveals this love to us, and through the instructions of the Spirit of Truth, who teaches us the spiritual laws that express this love.
As this love takes up residence in our souls, it reveals the will of our heavenly Father in ways that we couldn’t normally perceive, because clarity of his will is found in the workings of divine love. So, when we perceive a situation or relationship from this attribute’s perspective we move closer to what the will of God is for us, which is the perfect will for us, in those circumstances or relations. Through this awareness, we start to deepen not only in our understanding of his will for our individual lives, but also for humankind and all of creation.
In this understanding and work of the spirit, our lives start to conform to our Father’s “image” by partaking of his substance. In this realignment, our healing commences that regenerates our soul from one encased in the attributes of lack to one flowing in abundance. It’s all part of our individuality forming through this mortal experience.
Our Father’s will is expressed to us through spiritual laws pertaining to our created reality. These “laws” define for us the inner workings and various aspects of life until eventually we understand all our experiences in relation to these truths, thus the attribute of divine love. These spiritual laws reflect not only this love, but also many of the attributes of our Father that are incorporated into his love; beauty, harmony, goodness, sincerity, honor, righteousness, perfection, grace, mercy, forgiveness, purity, holiness, etc.
When we start to think and act in harmony with these laws, we not only learn more about our Father’s true nature, but also we start to partake of his substance, thus becoming a child, who reflects his likeness. Laws pertain to cause and effect, and the cause and effect relationship is a core aspect of our experiences. Therefore, as the spiritual laws are revealed, the relationships between the causes and effects occurring in our lives become more self-evident. This awareness is what creates a ripple effect of transformative growth in our souls and in our choices leading to a rejuvenated and liberated life; a life of his reflection.
However, it’s not all bliss at this point of our individualization formation. Though we know of his love and our spirit is transforming toward his likeness, during the process, we experience temporary upheavals in our souls. Sometimes they are quite cataclysmic as our temporal natures sown in perceived separation are replaced with everlasting ones sown in divine love. It’s much like the pains of childbearing and when they are particularly intense, childbirth, as we become souls born of our Father’s nature.
These disruptions come as the spirit of love and truth shines as a light in our soul, like a lamp on a dimmer switch illuminating a dark room. Little by little, it exposes everything in our soul and in our lives, and it leaves nothing hidden from its gentle yet targeted rays. In its illumination what we “see” within ourselves may lead to eye-opening and sometimes heartbreaking awareness as our fallen nature becomes apparent. At times during this process, it feels as if our life is being turned upside down from the inside out as everything that isn’t harmonious with his nature is shaken out; inclinations and natures of judgments, fears, worthlessness, pride, greed, hypocrisy, self-pity, useless cares, vanities, etc.; everything based on lies. And at these times, we realize we are totally dependent upon his work in us and not our own efforts, which he faithfully accomplishes. Though it may hurt a little or a lot, through these deep soul gyrations we are freed in ways we never knew we were bound as the truth takes up residence where the lies once dwelled.
After a series of these disruptions, we realize we are moving into a new reality; one founded on an abundance of divine love and no longer on separation and lack. These seasons bring a sprout of growth and we witness that he is making all things beautiful in time. And these intensities, which are leading to transformation, are part of the regeneration process. Also, we recognize that we are being transitioned by his spirit from a child coming out of a void caused by a perceived separation from our Father’s love to one who is springing forth from his love. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done. The kingdom comes within you.
Our Father’s will for our individual lives and humankind is beyond what we have desired of ourselves. It’s far more beautiful, bountiful and blissful, for in his will is our ultimate peace and freedom.
Establishing our soul to be in harmony with his soul is a work that our Father does with extreme care. It isn’t instant or done in haste. It’s true, real and everlasting. It’s the work of a diligent Creator and his carpenter making everything beautiful; every motive, desire, inclination, thought, and every expression that follows. As we push into his love, desiring it to consume every breath, he refashions our individuality in order to create a true and everlasting oneness with Him. This experience for us is one of a total transformation in our soul because no area is left untouched by his attentive spirit. Thus, it’s our ultimate freedom. In his will that is expressed through his truths of love we are totally free.
This “freeing” of our free-will is the irony of this journey. Left to our own understandings and ways, which we think is our freedom, we create a twisted personality, thus choices and lives that imprison us. In his will, we are individualized souls who find immense freedom in all our expressions and all our ways. And what we are, we give to the world.
I’m ready to be in this place as I know you are, but until then may we encourage one another in our personal expeditions of becoming who we uniquely are as children being wonderfully made by our perfect heavenly Parent.
I’ve mentioned before that this reality of our earth existence is like being in a womb. The overlays between a physical womb and spiritual womb are deeply intertwined, as the physical is a shadow of the spiritual to serve for instructional purposes. And there is much to learn from this particular analogy.
In a physical womb, the child is enveloped in flesh, which enables her to grow, but it also is a barrier from being face-to-face with her parent. We too are enveloped in a flesh covering that is serving to develop our soul individuality, and like the child we are “separated” from our heavenly Father, though he is all around us. Thus, as the child has never “met” the parent, we too experience a “disconnect”.
Because of this separation, our Father and we are both confined in the unreal. We are in this temporary dark reality and our heavenly Father is outside of these dark waters in the light. Thus, while in the womb we are confined in the unreal (detachment from our Father), but our Father is also confined in the unreal because in this state he remains in a sense unreal to us. Thus, why there are so many images of him that exist. He exists in a reality different than our own, and he can’t embrace us as he so desperately longs to. He can’t until we are full grown and come to birth. Thus, we are both trapped in the unreal unable to fully embrace one another in a way that creates an everlasting unchanging oneness.
To find this oneness, we need to be full grown so we can exist outside the womb.
Some souls have desirously and diligently sought for his true presence as their souls have been awoken to his love. They’ve become aware of the true heavenly Father and his love for them. This is the fertilization of their soul by his love. His love awakens us out of our dormant state as a mere egg in this womb. This awakening is the beginning of our embryonic growth, and what lies ahead is the much-needed development of our soul so we can grow into a creation that can abide in harmony in the reality outside of the womb. An embryo can’t survive outside the womb. It must grow to come to full maturity before it is ready. Likewise, we must become developed in our soul, so we can come forth, as a soul able to reflect our Father.
In this diligent seeking, these souls have learned and matured to “sense” his true essence beyond the womb. In this understanding and connection to the outside, they grow and mature in and by his love, which comes through his truths, as souls preparing to reflect the divinity of their Father. Others are so disconnected in the womb state that they doubt there is a parent at all. They remain a seed unfertilized by his true divine love. Then there are the many souls in-between these two states.
In this separation, we don’t “see” our heavenly Father, we only “see” him by faith. True faith is first knowing of the true Father, then believing that though we don’t see him, we know he is there and his love is endless and perfect for us. It’s learning to live a life established on the reality outside of the womb, a reality only those outside can teach us. Thus, the importance of constant soul communion with our Father and his Christ, who teaches us and helps us grow to come forth in a new birth. In this understanding, we spiritually mature, so that our faith becomes established in his ways, attributes and love to an extent that we sense him as if he is with us, but it’s only the strength of our faith that we are experiencing. But it’s that strength of faith that brings us forth into a new birth of our soul.
In our faith, we continue to grope in the darkness only seeing by our faith. This is why as our faith develops it sometimes waxes and wanes. With it we battle the fears of not knowing, uncertainty and perceived distance from our Father.
However, with our birth into the real, faith ceases and in its place is a deep knowing, thus rest and eternal peace. Faith is only required when there is a separation from our Father. Though it is essential to our soul development … when the time comes, it fades away and a knowing takes its place and our love becomes full and ever expanding into eternity. Instead of seeking to find an oneness with our Father, we gain that oneness with his divinity, and we no longer seek but become. We become his child bearing his reflection, thus we simply be.
In our birth, we are partakers of the divine essence of the Father, thus reflect his nature in our outward soul expression while maintaining our individuality. The key reflector of our new birth is the full reception and giving of the divine love of the Father. This is our shining attribute that with it carries divine intellect. Our hopes fade as they are fulfilled, and now there is growth in the light and by the light, no longer by stumbling through the darkness where we learn by error. When we can’t see we grow through our errors, learning what is and what is not. But in the light we simply grow. Our soul essence finds an oneness with the Father, as a baby born is placed in her Father’s arms, face-to-face.
But until our new birth of a divine soul, we are confined to this reality and our Father is confined to outside of this reality. This is why we seek to be a developing soul who has the strength of faith to come to birth. Without soul development that prepares us to be a new creation of divinity, and without the faith that enables us to grow and push out of the womb, we don’t come to birth. But with the two, we become identifiable children of our heavenly Father.
Ever felt that life was urging you onto the next phase, stage, or stratum of life? That’s where I’m at.
Lately, I’ve been going through a lot of changes in my perceptions and understandings about the heavenly Father of us all. At times it felt like everything was turning upside down, and sometimes it still does. But he has taught and shown me enough of his divine love that in an odd way my footing has never felt so solid. (I use “he” for simplicity sake, for God is spirit.)
It’s like there was a shell from the residue of this world around my perception of him that blocked me from seeing him as he wanted me to, thus how I saw myself and others. It feels like that shell broke away, and the immense love and care that I perceive is absolutely beautifully glorious. Being infinite, I know I’ll always be learning and growing in my connection to this utmost perfect divine spirit, but what I’m “seeing” is a love that is far beyond what most have imagined, naturally for he is far far beyond us in spirit and nature, yet he remains closer to us than our breath, for he is of perfect love.
Seek and you will find …
If we diligently seek to know the truth, we end up growing in love. When we expand and grow in love everything changes; our perception, our focus, and how we see ourselves, others and our heavenly Father. Over the years of seeking truth, he has manifested himself to me by teaching me life-changing truths, counseling me through many situations and dark nights of the soul, and giving me love I lacked. He has changed me from the inside out to such a degree I no longer recognize who I was as me. He has brought a depth of love into my life that I can give to others that I never knew existed and I only want it to increase and magnify to fill all and all. There is no doubt, by what has transpired in my life that his hand has been shaping, guiding and leading, for everything has grown more beautiful. His essence form is the most caring, majestic, and loving spirit who always wants to guide, lead and help us. But as love is gentle, tender and patient, so is he toward us and he waits for us to come to him. He never forces himself on us. But when we are willing to listen, he is always right there. He is the perfect spirit parent of us all.
We perceive and know God’s spirit according to our level of soul development or maturity. As we transform in our soul, we perceive everything and everyone differently including God. My perception has changed to such an extent that there is a new foundation rising up in my life extending from my morphing soul, one constructed of his divine love. Though small, it’s like my feet have moved onto a new platform. I have so much to learn of this love and still much growth to occur in my soul to be the reflection of this love as I desire.
Due to my growing understanding of the amazing love and nature of our Creator that’s starting to consume my life, I’m allowing this blog and my YouTube Channel to embrace that change as well. I’ve wrestled with leaving the trail I’ve journeyed, but what presses upon me as more important is allowing his reflection to grow truer, that means letting go of the past. When we start stepping ahead, we can leave the past behind.
The heavenly Father wants us to know him, and sometimes, often, by letting go of the past and embracing our present, which he has crafted, helps us to continue to move forward in him and with him, a movement deeper into his perfect divinity.
How true are the two commandments given to us by our Christ: love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and love others as yourself. Love of divinity is what is needed for all of us. And really this is what it all comes down to, isn’t it? All else is a distraction from the attainment of our deepest and truest desires.
Practicing the truth brings us to a higher spiritual frequency, which is the ability to give and receive divine love. 1 John 1:6-7 When we obtain a certain frequency, we are a prepared soul to receive the fullness of God according to the measure intended for our created being. Abiding in the fullness of God is eternally abiding in divine love. It is a phenomenon that we witnessed in Christ Jesus, a likeness we will one day reflect as we are drawn into the light.
This spirit ascension begins with seeking the truth from the spirit of perfection, God. In a world of lies, we must seek the truth, for lies blind us to the truth. But once we start to experience its transcendence power, we become drawn to it as a moth to a light. Even a flicker in our life can be impactful, it can set us on a course of a sojourner ever reaching for a higher reality, one in which we function in accordance to the mind of God, and no longer the mind of mankind.
If we don’t or cease practicing the truth, we can’t ascend, for ascension comes with a transformation of our mind by the words of the Divine spoken as an inner counselor, like words coming from a pure conscience. New thoughts create new perspectives, and new perspectives create new actions coming out a point of perfection, His light, within us. It all starts with words of truth, which bring understanding, which recreates us. His Truth lifts us above the influences of the lower realm, where the primal mind of mankind dwells. Thus, our creative powers grow ever more in alignment with the divine nature of God, and in this, beautiful present moments manifest in our lives.
Therefore, to move into a higher frequency is a combination of letting go of unrighteousness and practicing truth. We let go of those things that anchor us to a lower mind (mind of rebellion), like lusts, addictions, and cares of the world as defined by mankind’s wisdom and ways. Instead, we practice in all sincerity (void of hypocrisy, backbiting, judging) divine love, doing the right thing, humility, gentleness, meekness, kindness, trust in God, mercy, forgiveness, God’s wisdom, honor, and purity, in our lives and to those around us. We pursue what makes peace, harmony and unity with the spirit of God, not strife and separation. To learn each of these traits is a continual experiential apprenticeship under the Spirit of Truth. It is a journey requiring diligence, steadfastness, patience, and perseverance. Yet, in this back and forth of letting go and practicing truth, our minds/spirits wind upward as an ascending staircase away from being governed by the realm of the mind of mankind, thus serving its base ways, to a higher realm of the spirit of God.
God’s spirit is very powerful, yet very gentle. If we are doing what is contrary to His spirit, it keeps a insurmountable gap between Him and us, though His spirit is always close at hand. 1 Peter 3:12 Our acts of rebellion easily distance us from abiding in the spirit of truth, thus an aspect of the gentleness of His Spirit. The moment we desire to practice truth in all sincerity, His spirit is receptive to our desire to connect. Thus, we have to draw near to Him, then He will to us. Zech 1:3 We draw near by honestly desiring to live in accordance to His righteousness and truth, which is reflected in our choices for righteousness. If we want to meet with Him, we must be willing to travel on His paths, and do so.
At the beginning of our journey, we aren’t even sure where the light is, because we are in total darkness in our minds. The darkness comes from all the lies we think are true. We are seeking around trying to find truth, the ways of God, and not fully aware of what to expect. And as our expectations can be misleading, we have to set them aside and be open to anyway He chooses to reveal Himself to us. But for those seeking, God’s spirit will start to pull them gently toward Himself by words of truth spoken to their soul. His words become like a little light ever increasing, like a match, to a candle, to a flashlight, and so on. His words spoken to our spirits, that can be hard to discern in our blindness, help us to see the next step to take to be in alignment to His will and nature. We walk step by step and rarely leaps and bounds, for understanding is built layer upon layer. This path can be trying at times when it is hard to see what is His will in our present circumstance, but if we continue to seek, He will build the constructs of our mind to “see” the understanding we need. If we desire to know His will for a situation, we will know as we are able to receive, and when we need to know it. So focus on what you are learning today, for it will lead to tomorrow’s answers.
As we practice the truth, then our light expands because in our current understanding (light) we are able to receive more transformative understanding. Our spiritual evolution continues as long as we continue to seek and practice what we learn. Over time, our mind is networked with His understanding, thus we are transformed in our inner life and our outside reality to reflect His divine nature.
For those drawn into the light, they are ever growing in a life of righteousness and divine love. These are those truly of God. The Overseer of their soul, who they continually sought and clung to, establishes a foundation of thanksgiving, honor, glory, wisdom, power, might and blessing in their lives. Upon this foundation the presence of God resides, His very temple, the soul of a transcended created being of His workmanship.
If we want God to draw near to us, we need to draw near to the truth of divine love by seeking it, practicing it, and living by it. This is how we meet God, and start to “see” Him.
Here is a driving equation of a mind being fashioned by God; thus one who is spiritually maturing and ascending …
An algorithm for abundant life:
HUMILITY >>TRUTH >> HARMONY >> GROWTH = abundant LIFE
TRUTH = is and consists of truthful data points, as well as the accurate connection and networking of those data points. The stringing together of data points creates understanding, which crafts our perceptions, which is light. If we perceive in truth, we have eyes of light. If we perceive in error, we have eyes of darkness. Matthew 6:22-23 Our perceptions drive our choices and actions, which shape our experience of reality.
This light by which we see is the morning star rising in our hearts. 2 Peter 1:19, Revelation 2:28, 22:16 It’s the spirit that Christ held and reflected of the Divine, perfect wisdom, thus the spirit of Christ. Colossians 1:27, 2:2-3, 3:16 It’s His spirit, spirit of truth, that imparts the truthful data points and the connections between them to our minds. Thus, He is to be our source of wisdom, thus growth, thus abundant life. John 10:10
When we have truthful data points strung together in the correct way, which His spirit creates in us as we diligently seek to learn from Him, then harmony is created. If you hold the truth and so do I, we are of one spirit acting in supporting ways with one another thus in and creating harmony. When there is harmony between two or more entities then growth can occur. When we have harmony, then our relationship grows, deepens and expands. The growth is life, abundant life. When we grow in our relationship, we experience true and increasing kindness, love, honor, respect, peace, companionship, unity, support, all the elements of abundant life.
Like trees with the right balance of water, light and soil (data elements strung together in the right way and amounts) that create growth, which is life, when we abide in the truths that create growth, our actions produce abundant life.
Wisdom is having understanding in how to implement the truth (data points and their connections) in our lives. Foolishness is thinking we have this understanding when we don’t.
The beginning of wisdom is humility, which is constant submission to the wisdom of God, because His wisdom is perfect and superior to any other “wisdom”. Proverbs 1:7, 1 Corinthians 3:19 A key to having a humble mind is maintaining the mindset of a neophyte. Someone who is a novice has the humility that she doesn’t know all, and therefore is continually learning and growing.
Once we believe we are an “expert”, we switch from learning in a situation to judging it. A seemingly “expert” mind is one that assumes it knows, thus easily falls into a judgmental mindset instead of humble and teachable. Psalm 25:9 It assumes it knows, thus judges instead of learns from a situation, and as a consequence this mind is blocked from learning what it ought to in the present moment, for every situation can bring deeper understanding. Thus it’s bound to foolishness for it doesn’t know as it ought and isn’t seeking to learn. It doesn’t realize it lacks the correct or adequate data points or connections, thus foolish is its response. Yet, when we possess a humble mind our ability to learn is infinite.
A Humble Mind is a Spiritually Maturing Mind
Nowhere do we find a humble mind more so than in a spiritually maturing being. It’s a fundamental requirement to and aspect of spiritual maturation. The only way to mature is to be constantly submitting thus learning from the wisdom of God in our present moments. A spiritually maturing mind seeks the wisdom of God, which is always higher thus beyond that spirit’s current understanding no matter how mature it is. This mindset perpetuates that spirit’s growth thus maturity.
The wisdom of God comes out of the present moment. If we are growing, we are more knowledgeable than we were yesterday, thus God can take us into continually deeper layers of understanding than where we were yesterday. Understanding builds upon understanding. See how this works? This is why some less mature don’t understand the revelations spoken by more mature, thus can dismiss them if they’ve fallen into a judging mindset. They lack the required previous levels of knowledge to comprehend a higher level.
This means, like a beginner, we should always be asking questions. For example, we are always seeking what door to go through in our present moment that takes us to the next step along our personal path fulfilling our purpose. Assumptions and expectations based on what we know are fleeting to this mindset, while questions and seeking are the mainstay. If we are of a humble mind, a neophyte mind, we are consistently seeking and asking, thus learning and growing, thus spiritually maturing.
The wisdom of the divine integrated into our souls by the spirit of Christ is our compass. It’s His spirit interacting with ours in our inner person that guides, instructs and leads us down His cogent roads. It’s these roads that create a network of thinking and acting that produce an abundant life.
This algorithm works for every facet of our lives; marriage, relationships, business, health, and home life. For example, as my husband and I learn of data points (mercy, forgiveness, divine love), and learn how they interact within our marriage, they lead to choices and actions that are harmonious with one another, thus we experience growth in our marriage. This growth creates a marriage of increasing abundance (comfort, support, care, peace, beauty, divine love). As we remain humble in our minds, we continually grow in our understanding and thus expand in all those traits that greatly enhance our marriage. Thus the marriage is always getting better. We can apply this to every area of our life. When we do we start experiencing abundant life.
Our minds create our reality. A mind crafted by the wisdom of God is continually creating better present moments, thus life always gets better.
