Sensory Perceptions Carnal to Spiritual

Sensory Perceptions:

Carnal to Spiritual

space

As we become lights in this world, a reflection of the divine spirit of the heavenly Father, our sensory perceptions change as part of our transformation. They become transmitters of His light into the world. Where we once were governed by our senses from an “outward > in” point of view, we are now governed by an “inward > out” point of view.

Our senses: seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, and touching, work together to formulate our understanding and perspectives. A carnal mind takes in sensations from the world whose interpretation and understanding are derived from the mass consciousness (cumulative thought of mankind). These sensory perceptions inform us of the physical world. By what we see, hear, smell, taste and touch, we determine want we want and desire as translated by the mass consciousness. Thus, they become the drivers to all kinds of desires directed and governed by the wisdom, understanding, and compulsions of the mass consciousness. For example, you see a picture of a juicy hamburger and the mass consciousness translates that as something to be desired (through its communication channels, media, advertising, etc), thus you desire it.

A spirit mind uses these sensory perceptions in a different way. With the spirit mind, God is in control and governing our thoughts and desires (pure consciousness and NOT mass consciousness), including our sensory receptacles. He translates our sensory perceptions from WITHIN by His divine spirit (pure consciousness). He does this by transforming our sensory modalities from mass consciousness derivatives to pure consciousness outputs. It is no longer what is without that determines our actions, but His sprit that is within. For example, He establishes in us a love for all creation, thus we have cruelty free diets. The images/messages of the hamburger have no impact on our desires, only His understanding, wisdom and love.

Acting by this renewed perception creates a radically different reality as it becomes full of actions grounded in God’s wisdom and love. Christ creates our reality, which is now His, by these renewed sensory communicators. It’s through these senses the character of Christ is pushed out from within us into the world around us. Thus, we are creators (givers) of light and life, and no longer consumers of darkness. He is creating our reality from within out, thus crafting our entire reality into His home, His living temple.

When our sensory perceptions come from “within > out”, they are governed by His spirit, thus our perceptions are formulated in true understanding and wisdom. This heightened and purified understanding travelling through our senses infuses our thoughts, words and behaviors with His nature/light. Understanding, truth, and love implode our senses, thus our lives and the lives of others.

There is a lot here and I’ll be doing videos on them later this week … but here is a brief outline of each with an example.

5 Spiritual Senses

  1. Eyes of Understanding: All that we see is filtered by His truth, understanding and perfect love (fire of God). Thus we act by faith, and not by sight. Ex: You see others in a framework of perfect love, as God sees them, and in that new vision you are able to give them perfect love.
  2. Ears of Wisdom: Our ears are attuned to voice of God within us. Through the journey of seeking Him, we’ve learned to hear and follow His voice. As we are fully united to Him, His voice becomes our inner voice.  Thus the wisdom for a given situation comes from within. By this wisdom, we live as a spirit being who acts in harmony with His law of love. As we follow that inner voice, His purposes and will are manifested in the world. Ex: The inner voice gives you counsel on how to respond to a certain situation. You follow and peace is created where peace once wasn’t. This hearing creates an incredible reality reflecting His wisdom.
  3. Smell of discernment:  This sense relays the true nature of something or someone. It picks up the fragrance of life versus the stench of death. It’s like the sense of when something “smells fishy” (suspicious). It gives us an accurate knowing of someone or something, as God desires us to know, that enables us to respond in line with God’s character. For example, your ability to discern between true prophets and false ones, or accurate teachings and deceptions.
  4. Taste of desire: Our taste is what directs our desires. What we have a taste for or not is what we desire or don’t. As our desires are now His, our tastes for things, activities, people, ways, will be His. Ex: We no longer have a taste (desire) for violent movies, or we no longer have a taste for meat.
  5. Touch of healing: Our touch directs how we interact in our physical lives with the world around us. When He governs our touch, every behavior and act is done out of perfect love, truly a healing touch. Ex: Your actions toward your spouse are out of perfect love and nothing else.

As we are united to the divine through Christ, all our senses are regenerated to reflect the wisdom, character, nature, understanding and love of the heavenly Father. It’s Him, in us, pouring Himself into the world though these modalities, thus we are lights to the world, His light.

These transformed sensory communicators allow the spirit of life to shine outward from us, where before in the carnal mind we gathered to ourselves what we wanted from our senses.

The transformations of our senses enable the shining of our lamps. Among others, there are three ways those with these modalities will shine. They will possess:

  1. Greater wisdom, thus becoming smarter as they are operating by the wisdom of God in their circumstances.
  2. Increasing loving kindness pouring forth from an abundance mindset.
  3. Ability to abide in and create peace and harmony.

These are the fruit bearing trees. There is a lot here to consider, may you see the magnificent power, perfection, beauty and love these transformations create within thus without.

Veiling of Spiritual Laws

Veiling of Spiritual Laws

To abide in peace, loving kindness, wisdom, power, freedom, joy, rest, love and all of the purest of your desires, which is the presence of God, isn’t rocket science but it’s a perfect science. It’s a science of spiritual laws based on a foundation of loving kindness; because their Creator is love.

Creation is crafted in incredible wisdom; which is obvious with even the simplest observation. This wisdom is made up of various types of laws; like physical and spiritual laws.

Spiritual laws are what we, the spirits, operate by to function perfectly. If we understand and live by them, we do well. If we don’t live by them, we don’t do well. This is why seeking this wisdom of the Creator is essential to all else. Proverbs 4:7 If you continually go against the law of gravity by jumping off of buildings, you are going to continue to get hurt. If you constantly go against the spiritual laws, like kindness without hypocrisy, you are going to continue to get hurt.

The problem is the spiritual laws have been masked by lies and thus not discernible by many.

Veil Over Spiritual Laws

The reason the spiritual laws are hidden to most people is because the laws have been covered in lies; a false truth presenting itself as truth. Most people are only aware of the lie covering the truth, and not the truth. Thus lies abound.

A false truth that claims to produce a certain end but it does not is a lie. A truth that does produce what it promises is a spiritual law. Proverbs 10:22  Lies promise the things of the spirit (peace, joy, love, etc) and yet never fully deliver. Truths promise these and do deliver. Thus, there are two contrary groups of thought around concepts; one of lies and one of truth.

Lies and truth influence our minds because they influence the source we draw wisdom from. There are two places we can seek for wisdom; the mass consciousness of man (mankind’s wisdom) or the pure consciousness of God (our Heavenly Father’s wisdom). James 3:15-17  Only seeking from God’s wisdom will we abide in pure truth; because mankind’s wisdom has been over-runned by lies. Think of these two places as two clouds, or air masses, of thought. Like air, wisdom exists but you don’t see it, you only see the results of it like a tree blowing in the wind.

If you control the awareness and understanding of the spiritual laws; you control the spirits abiding by those laws.

This is why spiritual laws continue to be covered in lies.

Because a lying spirit, Satan, seduced mankind to stray from truth, lies formed within the individual consciousness of man, which automatically feeds the mass consciousness. Romans 5:12 This is how lies spread; people holding lies as truth feed and withdraw from the mass consciousness, thus infecting everyone. If truth is not known, the lies can’t be detected. Some lies may be revealed for what they are, but as long as people are drawing upon this one source they will always abide in lies to some degree.

This is the domain Satan, the lying spirit, reigns. This is why he is referred to the prince of the air. Ephesians 2:2 This is how the world is under his sway, because most only interact with the mass consciousness by learning, seeking and gaining wisdom only from it and not the pure consciousness/God’s wisdom. 1 John 5:19

How Does a Lying Spirit Reign?

A lie generates when someone wants to gain a certain result and misleads someone to get what they want. Once the lie is received by another, it’s manifested in the mass consciousness. The more people believe in a specific lie the stronger it grows. Thus some lies abound and others stay small within the mass consciousness.

Some unknowingly manipulate the mass consciousness for evil, and others purposely manipulate it by the thoughts they put into it. This is the essence of “fear-based” news, advertising, TV, movies, media, magazines, various institutions, corrupted governments and religions, certain programs, organizations, schools, etc. These entities purposely influence the mass consciousness for certain purposes; money, power, fame, status, control, etc.

For example take advertising. A desirable image, like a beautiful woman, is attached to a concept, product or service. The ad suggests that if you embrace what they are selling you will have the desired image the woman projects. This is manipulating and influencing the mass thought of mankind to act in certain ways. This is one example of thousands on how people are manipulated by this mass consciousness. To stop interacting and succumbing our mind to all these manipulation sources is to “come out of the world.”

This mass consciousness among many things is full of empty images that keep people bound to certain lifestyles causing them pain. The lie posing as truth keeps them bound to being and feeding the source of the things that cause pain and suffering in their lives. It’s a place of contrived images that tell people who they are, who others are, who God is, what to pursue, what is success, what is valued, what is desired, and so on. It’s used to oppress, control and manipulate people for all kinds of evil purposes. It’s a very corrupted spiritual realm of thought, in which most people interact with all day long. This dynamic of the mind being shrouded in lies creates the prison, the darkness, the pit.

To operate in accordance to the spiritual laws, one has to willing unplug from the world’s wisdom by seeking the pure wisdom of God.

The Judging Spirit of the Self-Will

The Judging Spirit of the Self-Will

Judging is a key characteristic of our self-will that is in opposition to God. Here I talk about that spirit, the pervasiveness, vastness of it and what being free means and entails for our lives.

Sticks and Stones: The Power of Words

Sticks and Stones: The Power of Words

Who do you give “authority” to?

Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.

Above is one of the most popular childhood rhymes that needs a little dissecting, because most of us have been corrupted, damaged, and lived a life of pain because of the words of others, words spoken by those we gave and still give “authority” to.

People speak and act according to how they are not according to the object of their words and actions.  Yet, far too often we’ve internalized the damaging words and actions of others. And God wants to free us.

There are many forms of this truth, but let’s take someone lashing out at another.  When someone delivers a verbal barrage of negativity, it’s about them not the recipient. The problem is most people own other people’s words when it aligns with concepts spoken to them in the past by “authorities”.  When someone lashes out then the recipient thinks something is wrong with them or it’s about them, when the painful delivery has nothing to do with them. How a person acts is all about them; not the recipient. But if their actions and words line up with what an authority figure in their lives spoke, especially a parent or an influential figure of their childhood, they will believe it and internalize the other’s baggage making it a part of who they are.

For example, if someone lost the car keys … I could call them an idiot for being so careless, or not even say a word but in my mind think what an idiot for being so careless. Either way, they would feel the condemnation because people respond to what we give off, not just our words. Matt 5:28 OR I would know we all do forgetful things, help them find the keys, and develop a strategy so they won’t lose them in the future. Consider the impact of the two responses on the recipient. The first would probably make them feel bad about themselves because most people incorrectly own others negative reactions toward them, especially if it was in line with what an authority figure said. The second would be uplifting and helpful.

The greatest impact of this dynamic is with children, which we all were at one point so consider what “baggage” you’ve owned from others. With children, the parents usually have the greatest authority in their lives, what they say the children believe without question and own it as their truth. Whatever they say, the children believe and manifest in their lives. If the parents said they were a loser, then that is how they will grow up unless or until they have a higher authority tell them differently at some point. This is just what children do, they believe their parents.  Children don’t have the experience to realize that how their parents speak to them is about them and not the child. They don’t have a more powerful authority in their lives to tell them otherwise. Calling a child a loser has nothing to do with himself, and everything about the parent, which at one time it had nothing to do with that parent until he heard it from his parents and so on. This is an example of how sin spreads like cancer, because most people own other people’s baggage. 2 Timothy 2:17

You see how lies are passed along. How faulty frameworks about who we are formed. We all grow up with lies by owning others’ baggage. Lies make a train wreck of our lives, but Christ came to rewrite our lives and who we are. He came to show us who we truly are; beautiful, bountiful, blissful, boundless, bold, beloved, and blessed. What we believe we manifest. Many are manifesting the pain of others because they took ownership of their pain by believing their words. Christ came to set us free. John 8:32

As we mature spiritually, we realize that God is our authority, therefore we listen to what He says. When we do listen to Him, our framework changes and we learn that all the negativity spoken to us was about the speaker’s pain and baggage, and had nothing to do with us. If they were different and didn’t have their own bondage they would have never spoken that way to others. This understanding of their bondage is key to forgiveness and love that covers a multitude of sins.

Words are incredibly powerful when they come from someone we’ve given authority to. Who we give authority to dictates our life, because authority manifests belief. What we believe in we create as our reality.  If we give someone authority, then we trust what they say and make their words are truth. Consider the authorities in your life, parents, doctors, PHDs, field experts, spouses, friends, political talking heads, and religious leaders.  What kind of path have they led you on? This isn’t blaming, but taking responsibility for what we hold as truth and who we’ve placed as authorities in our lives who shouldn’t be.

If you still have misplaced authorities, it’s time to dethrone them. Psalm 1:1 THE authority in our lives should be God. Others can confirm what He tells you, but He should be THE authority – because He will speak ONLY truth to you. When He is your authority, you are on the path to tremendous freedom. Freedom from all others’ judgment, opinions, comments, and actions. Thus, freedom from others’ pain and bondage. Freedom from the lies. Freedom to be who you were created to be, someone magnificent because that is the kind of creator God is. Freedom to live a new life and a new reality. We are simply covered in the mud of lies so that is all we can see of ourselves. As mud washes off, God’s truth washes us clean. Putting people as authorities in our lives is putting our lives in the wrong hands. If you truly want to live free, then your authority must be God.

Consider Jesus did anyone alter what He thought and knew about who He was? No. He knew the Truth and His authority was God.

So as long as people are putting others in authority who shouldn’t be the lies spread generation to generation. Misplaced authority manifests false beliefs, and false beliefs manifest a life of suffering and bondage. Our beliefs determine our lives.

Instead of owning the baggage and lies of others, find your identity in Christ and respond with love. In love, tell them it’s not acceptable and look beyond the surface to that bound soul from which came such anger, bitterness, resentment, pain, self-pity, blame, criticalness, and judgment. They need deliverance too. They need love. We all do.
