Watch Your Life!

Watch Your Life!

“Nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there! ’For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

Luke 17:21

The Kingdom of Heaven is now being established in power in the earth. It’s power, beauty and glory has been awakening in the souls of the elect, and has begun to penetrate the world around them.

The incoming Kingdom of Righteousness means truth is in the earth as it never has been before. The Spirit of Christ uniting to the elect infuses the truth with power; word and spirit.  Thus, the truth is interacting with this world in new ways to establish and grow the Kingdom of Righteousness.  The truth hasn’t been able to renew this world because it lacked the spirit of Christ, the spirit of righteousness, in mankind. It’s the word AND the spirit in us that brings life. It’s the flesh of Christ, the word, and His blood, His spirit, together that has power over wickedness in us thus in the world.

The transformation into a new heavens and new earth happens through mankind. As we transform, this world transforms; for our thoughts fashion its character. Now that the spirit of Christ is returning in the elect; the truth is empowered to reign where once unrighteousness prevailed. 2 Peter 1:19, Revelation 2:27-28 Life, true life, is now growing in this pit to regenerate it inside out.

You can be a part of this righteousness spirit and grow with as it grows to fill the earth, or resist and be subject to the greatest refinement to come upon mankind.

Do you see the Kingdom growing in your life?

If you do; greatly blessed are you; but this you already know.

How do you know the Kingdom is being established in you?

Watch your life. Your life will testify to you if you have the truth or if you are still imprisoned and blinded by lies. If you are in deception you do not know it; that is why it’s deception. You think you are in the truth, but you are not. So, how do you know? Watch your life; it will tell you.

A separation has begun between light and darkness; righteousness and unrighteousness. Now and in the days ahead there will be an increasing division between those walking and growing in righteousness by the power of Christ’s spirit in them, and those who are bound in unrighteousness because they haven’t knit their spirits to Christ’s; the purest of love. Isaiah 65:13-15

How is your spirit knit to Christ’s within you?

By repentance; which is obedience to the Father’s love; which is wisdom.

First, you listen to the still small voice within you coming from a cleansed conscious that is specifically guiding you in wisdom and loving kindness.  Second, you engage in continual repentance; which simply means in every thought, word, and action you are forsaking your old ways and turning to live in accordance with the righteousness of the Father as He leads you. (Made possible by His power at work in you, which is the gift of Christ enabling you to obey). The more you listen and obey the clearer the counsel becomes. Third, the more wisdom you act in the more the Kingdom grows in you and expands around you.

This repentance is embracing the forgiveness of God. To not heed His counsel is to trample on His forgiveness. If you never seek to obey His truths, you can’t be knit to His righteousness, thus be apart of the Kingdom. Kingdom comes inside, out.

Christ’s spirit being unified to yours through repentance is what enables you to walk in righteousness and fulfill the law perfectly.  He is your strength and grace to become a son/daughter of the heavenly Father because you walk in righteousness. Phil 4:13, John 15:3-8 Christ didn’t give us His spirit for us to trample on the law; thinking we are forgiven and obedience doesn’t matter. He enabled us to obey the truth by giving us His righteousness spirit. Feast on Him; and become as Him. John 6:53, Hebrews 2:11

What you will see if you are in truth?

As the Kingdom grows in you; it’s overflowing to those around you. You are moving into a time of double blessings; the joy is deeper, the laughter is greater; the love is abounding; the works of your hands are multiplying; the peace is expanding; and the righteousness taking over.  Zechariah 9:12 Your words are full of life. Your love is growing pure. Thus, you serve as a witness to the power, love and glory of the Father in the earth.  Ezekiel 14:22-23

What you will see if you are NOT in truth?

For those not in truth; pains, afflictions, and suffering are doubling. Stresses are mounting; afflictions are arising; marriages are struggling, finances are draining, children are taxing; wisdom is fleeting, sickness is increasing, sorrow is mounting; your own wickedness is rebuking you. Jeremiah 2:19

The Father longs to free you from the prison you cling to. Hardships are to reveal areas you are living contrary to His perfect ways of love. Don’t blame, justify, or rationalize. Realize now is the time to turn from corruption and embrace a life of righteousness and love from the Heavenly Father.

Know and love the Heavenly Father. Listen and follow His intimate counsel to you in the specifics of your life. He is the Father of life, truth, love and as you follow Him your life will increase in apparent wisdom, love and power.

Persist and Endure to the End

Persist and Endure to the End

How persistent are you truly? Now is a time when your patience and persistence will be greatly tested.

I sense a significant growing separation among people; a separation between those of the light and those of the darkness.

God is truth. Those who are diligently seeking God are growing stronger in Him, His ways, and truth or light. Those who aren’t diligently seeking God are growing further away from Him and truth, and into lies or darkness.

In Revelation, it talks about the eventual removal of the lampstands from certain professing followers of God. Revelation 1:20, 2:5 The lampstand holds the light. The light is the spirit of God, a spirit of truth. Revelation 4:5 Once the lampstand is removed, those people will no longer dwell with the spirit of God. Thus, their thoughts, ideas and teachings will fall more and more away from truth and into lies. You don’t want to be in a place where the lampstand has been removed.

In line with this falling away from truth, 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 says there will be many who pose as messengers of truth. Outwardly they appear like those of truth, but in reality they are creating illusions of truth with mouths of consuming graves. These charlatans come in many forms appealing to a wide variety of souls and their particular desperations. Some will fall for some and not others, but the variety of masqueraders ensures that many will fall.

Why these masqueraders of truth? However influenced by evil or their ego, the issue is pride. People think they inherently know best and don’t really need God’s truth to guide them. In not diligently seeking God, they erroneously believe lies are truth. Having others come alongside gives them a false peace and confidence that their lies are truth. Other people agreeing with us validate our beliefs whether right or wrong.

If we are unknowingly a part of their masquerade, then we will greatly suffer for it, for lies destroy the soul. 2 Peter 3:16 Hosea 7:8-9 The truth is our protector and guide. Without a love for it and diligently seeking it from God Himself, we are lost to the influence of those around us. Truth comes from God. He is the only source. If we haven’t been diligently seeking truth, then we don’t know what is right and what isn’t. Are you getting the idea to diligently seek?

As a result of the spirit of God leaving or the lampstand being removed, those who truly know God will be pulling away as well to follow God. John 10:27 The true followers of God go where He goes, thus the massive separation between those of truth and those of lies among those professing to be of God.

This separation was prophesied long ago, and now is coming into fruition. Ezekiel 34, Matthew 13:30, Revelation 18:4 In God’s great mercy, He has allowed the lampstand to remain and the intermingling among those of Him and those not of Him as He patiently waits for people to turn to Him and away from their self-driven ways. 2 Peter 3:9 As a loving Creator while shining His light upon us, He has allowed us to traverse our self-chosen paths, so that when the depravity of our ways comes upon us, we’ll realize the error and turn to Him. However, many have not turned. Hosea 7:10 The time will come when the window to come to God as we can now will close. For when the lampstand, the light, is taken away it means God’s spirit is taken away. The chance for the truth to penetrate the lies is lost, thus there is no way out of the darkness of deception.

Therefore, those of the darkness will grow deeper into lies, while those of the light will grow deeper into truth. Those of darkness will experience torment as lies destroy, inflict and bound. Revelation 9:18 Being in the dark, they don’t understand what is happening and dismiss it as “just life”. Remember, their lies are their truth. Those of the light will continue to transform into the light. Truth will invade every area of their lives. They will feel the intensity of the lies around them but in their spirits they will experience growing oneness with God in truth and spirit.

Here is where patience and endurance comes into utmost importance. Rev 13:10 This time of separation coincides with a growing spiritual battle as the dark grows darker and the light lighter. It will be difficult spiritually. For those who possess little truth and a weak relationship with God, the truth will be slipping from their fingers. Matthew 25:29 Those sealed, so they can’t fall from truth, will still have their truth challenged and tested. Their souls will be burdened by the growing lies, deception, and damage being manifested around them. Psalm 91:7-8 Now more than ever we need to support others who are striving for truth. We need to follow God’s lead about who and who not to embrace. In this battle, it’s our work to seek and know the truth, and cling to it.

I encourage those growing in truth to not grow weary in doing good. You reap what you sow. If you reap truth, that is what will grow in your life. Don’t give up. Leave the results and expectations of your situations up to God. His ways are not our ways. Keep praying, seeking, and drawing near to God. Never underestimate His faithfulness and mercy.

Truth is your armor. Read the Bible each day, God’s grounding tool of truth. Seek instruction from God. Pour out your heart to Him. Obey Him where you know HE has taught and led you. Keep it simple. If you trust Him, He will let you know what you need to know, when you need to know it. Your part is to abide in truth and seek His counsel. Pray for others.

The times we are in take great patience and endurance, and only those who finish the race are able to gain the prize. Run to gain the prize. 1 Corinthians 9:24

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

Divorce (PART I)

Divorce

(PART I)

The question I’m looking at in this two part blog is: According to the Word of God are you to remarry after you divorce?

A friend and I were talking about this very sensitive issue, which prompted me to look at all these verses – and trying to without any justifications or trying to find loop holes – what is God’s will in this area?

Romans 7:3 So then if, while her husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man.

I wondered if it mattered who initiated the divorce in terms of if you are free to remarry. If my husband divorces me – I really don’t have a choice, so do I still commit adultery if I marry another?

1 Corinthians 7:15 But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart; a brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases. But God has called us to peace.

Mark 10:11-12 So He said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her. And if a woman divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”

Matthew 5: 32 But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery.

Why does God seem to be “tough” on this issue? The problem is the land becomes greatly polluted when people are marrying, divorcing, and remarrying and so on.

Jeremiah 3:1 “They say, ‘If a man divorces his wife, And she goes from him And becomes another man’s, May he return to her again?’ Would not that land be greatly polluted? But you have played the harlot with many lovers; Yet return to Me,” says the Lord.

Malachi 2:16 “For the Lord God of Israel says That He hates divorce, For it covers one’s garment with violence,” Says the Lord of hosts. “Therefore take heed to your spirit, That you do not deal treacherously.”

I want to back up for a moment and talk about divorce. It has struck me lately how marriage is the foundation of society, as our relationship with God is foundational to our lives. If you want to destroy society, which evil does, then destroy marriages, which we see happening on many levels. When marriage is destroyed by divorce (when I speak of divorce – it is all the emotions and actions prior to, during and after – not just the actual legal separation – for these emotions and actions are what are so destructive) the ripple affect is great. Families are broken, which creates broken people, which creates issues on all levels of life– therefore all suffer the ramifications. We don’t live in isolation; all we do influences the whole.

Marriage represents out relationship with God, to teach us about our relationship to Him. The seriousness and impact of a marriage is what it is because of what it represents. The damage created by divorce is great because when we break away from God the damage is horrific in our lives. People’s spirits are torn apart in divorce as they are when they aren’t rightly related to God (though with God obviously the damage is much greater). We are to be filled with love, but divorce fills us with anger, pride, and pain. When our spirits are filled with these emotions, it is very caustic to ourselves and others. Obviously, staying married with these emotions is also extremely harmful. But we aren’t to live with them, but to keep from them or move out of them through the power of the Holy Spirit working in us. Let us never underestimate the power of God’s love in our lives. It isn’t about being miserable in a marriage but putting our trust in God that if we honor His will, He will help us and give us what we are looking for – love.

When we marry something changes on a spiritual level within us. We become united to a person unlike we do in any other relationship, again because of what it illustrates. God created it with a spiritual impact. We can’t change that characteristic regardless if we believe or not. It is what it is. Therefore, when we divorce it tears our spirits apart, but not into two intact pieces as before, but ripped, torn, and damaged.

Marriage doesn’t work without God’s love. A lack of His love is the source of this proliferating problem. We have destroyed true love, the one thing that saves us from ourselves, with our pride, anger, and selfishness. We have destroyed it from a lack of seeking God’s face with diligence and passion. We have lost Him as our first love, therefore have lost love.

Only God’s love enables us to do what He calls us to do in a marriage – truly love. We can’t do it without Him – as we are seeing. The divorce rate and the numerous wrecked marriages testify to the lack of knowing and possessing God’s love. We gain God’s love in our spirits to know and to give when we cultivate a real, deep and intimate relationship with Him, which few are truly taking the time to do. Look at what we have created by going our own way. In the past couple of weeks, I’ve seen so much pain and damage created by divorce. It isn’t the solution. When we don’t seek God’s face, abide in His Word, and draw near to know His love – damage, pain, and pride fill our lives.

Further, our understanding about this topic has been warped by society, which says – just divorce and make it all go away, and start over and make it better. In reality, it doesn’t work that way. We create death in us and others and that is what we have to contend with. On so many issues, we have compromised our beliefs and truth by what society impresses upon us. May we pray to know and live the truth that our lives may honor God’s ways and not man’s. There are few times when divorce is an answer, but that is another blog.

This all being said, I also want to say that God’s mercy is great toward His children; far greater than we ever would be toward one another. We all have all fallen short and do on so many accounts. I’ve seen God’s redemptive work many times in this area. But there still was so much pain and damage done. We are called to seek His truth and His will to live by it in our lives and that is my goal with these posts.

Now that we’ve laid out what divorce really creates in our lives . . . next week we’ll look at the aspect of should we remarry after divorce?

Pray and seek God’s truth on this subject this week and let me know your thoughts.
