Part 4 of 4: Untwisting Scriptures of Eternal Torment
2 Peter 3:16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.
Contemplating the oneness of Truth while guided by the Voice of Truth produces the evolution or maturation of the soul, spirit and mind, so reality can begin to reflect Truth's immutable, divine attributes, which manifest the highest good for all. This blog reflects an ever-deepening understanding of the Truth a soul gains as its mind is renewed by Truth's pure Light.

Hello to you Rachel, I wish you a very good day.
you said : Oh! those peoples are not going to repent,
then you quote Jesus response: with man it is impossible, for God all things are possibles.
Now I quote you again : God knows I to bring hearts to repentance by openning up their eyes, and now I see what I see, “revelation as been blown into your heart ” , that is what Christ came to do,
and yes, I quote to complete what you said :” For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.”
For that I said : all the wickedness and lies of Satan, including Hell and eternel tourment or eternal damnation, all of that is to be cast away!!!
So Christ came to seek, so he is the one in control, he is the one who seek, not us, once he found us he then attract us to seek him back, but then the promise is already accomplish!!! ops!!!,
Then he completes his work, Christ came to saves all of us, including what “was lost”, ops!!!, again, again? it says it was lost!!!!!,don’t understand!?!! , so , if I have a heart of stone, I say, well, what is lost, is lost, ” but with God nothing is impossible” .
So, Christ, did not came to try, to figured out if it could be done, it is fulfillment, it is destiny, destiny is, what will “be”, not, what could have been if… it is not a what if, or let’s try, it is God putting is foot on the earth and says: I am God, I always fulfill my promises.
Hi Peter .. so few attribute so very little power to God and yet tremendous power to Satan … I pray they can see and know who is truly sovereign. Christ has the victory. He is over all power.
Hi Rachel, EW here. I am deeply considering this post. Some questions are coming to mind: I do not see the rich man in hell, repenting; only bending the knee and confessing the Lord. Those that truely except the Lord while alive on earth will not go to the second death. until Jesus tells me different, I am beleiving I will personally meet you & William at the feet of Jesus. However, “many will knock but few will enter”. I beleive I understand what you are saying about the burning, in cleancing the spirit & I agree. Also, the Lord talks of the time after the opening of the sixth seal and said we(the remnent) will walk on their ashes. —Am I missing something, or just not understanding your full point?
There is a lot to know about hell. Many will go to hell although Jesus can to save the lost. John 3:17-19. And although Jesus came into the world to save we are told ; Matthew 1:20-24 Jesus came to save His people. Matthew 1:18 to the end.
Everything of God serves love… every judgment, every punishment, every correction …. that story of the rich man showed his eyes opening to the truth … and his heart that his brothers would be saved and know the truth lets you look into what he was experiencing and learning. It is a powerful picture.
Here are some other scripture readings from Hebrews that would probably be important to read, when considering this subject. I know that Paul was full of God’s love.
These verses show why there is an offense in the Cross of Christ.
Hebrews 6:4
4 For it is IMPOSSIBLE for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to RENEW THEM AGAIN TO REPENTANCE,
since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.
(I think verse 4 should dispel any misreading concerning Repentance in respect of Lazarus)
7 For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God; but if it bears thorns and briers, it is rejected and near to being cursed, whose END IS TO BE BURNED.
And a Scripture reading from Isaiah. I would assume, Isaiah, had very little Love in his heart,
or He is speaking the Word of God. One or the other.
Isaiah 66:22
22 “For as the NEW HEAVENS and
the NEW EARTH, WHICH I SALL MAKE
(future)
remain before Me,” says the Lord,
“So shall your descendants and your
name remain.
23 And it shall come to pass
That from one New Moon to another,
And from one Sabbath to another,
All flesh shall come to worship before Me,”
says the Lord.
24 “And they shall go forth and look
Upon the corpses of the men
Who have transgressed against Me.
FOR THEIR WORM DOES NOT DIE
AND THEIR FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED.
THEY SHALL BE AN ABHORRENCE
TO ALL FLESH.
So at this point in reading, I don’t think you could insinuate that I have suggested an interpretation,
or that I am creating an image about God. These verses are not written by Satan, they are from the HOLY BIBLE, spoken by the Lord.
In Hebrews 6:4 .. when you look at the Greek and the structure of the words .. it is saying those who have tasted of the heavenly gift and partakers of the Holy Spirit can not fall away; once you have done this you are changed .. true repentance changes you.. and therefore will not crucify Christ again; with the understanding you have – you can not … plus you’ve given your life over – which you only can experience those things once you do. The Father would never allow the Son to be put to open shame …
As for ..
“23 And it shall come to pass
That from one New Moon to another,
And from one Sabbath to another,
All flesh shall come to worship before Me,”
says the Lord.
24 “And they shall go forth and look
Upon the corpses of the men
Who have transgressed against Me.
FOR THEIR WORM DOES NOT DIE
AND THEIR FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED.
THEY SHALL BE AN ABHORRENCE
TO ALL FLESH.”
ALL Flesh will worship God .. when they know the Father and thus are changed in which the flesh sinful nature they served is destroyed forever. The verse speaks of two things … It is their own corpses they look upon .. if you have been transformed by God .. you understand this dynamic within yourself. That old life never comes back because you abhor it- you want no part of it. Second, you also abhor the sinful nature in others and as it is destroyed never to rise again, thus unquenchable fire, you are thankful … thus they are set free.
The flesh being destroyed it a good thing .. it sets the prisoners, the spirits, free.
In your first paragraph. Your discourse in fine, but you left me without a conclusion to the events, so I cannot comment on the overall perscpective,
of whether it could be accurate, or is a plausible read. It’s kind of a hanging clause, as far as needing an outcome.
I didn’t get the punch line?
In your second answer, I disagree with your reading of the meaning here,
but I understand your perspective.
However I suppose your image then will reject me as being immoral,
because, I am not seeing God the way you need me to.
My reading leads me differently.
So, that means ” I don’t know God”.
For you, that means, I’m trying to sell you something.
But actually, I’m reading it differently, and from my experience, it would be
schizophrenic to myself, if I didn’t trust my own instincts.
Or if I relied on you alone, for my judgement, that would make me unfaithful
to what I believe the Father is saying.
So, whatever your image, if that flips your God off His throne, because, for you,
I misread it, your serving a very flismy image.
Try incorporating my thoughts along with yours.
At least your giving God a chance, in- case, there is ever, an instance where you
might be wrong.
I don’t want to offend your image of ‘ominiscient knowlege’ that you posses.
(I’m teasing) (but that is straight to the point)
It’s how we communicate.
Hope that’s not offensive, to discuss. Or offends your God.
