Hypocritical vs. Righteous Love
Author: Rachel
My passion is cultivating a deep relationship with God and helping others to do the same. I LOVE sharing with others insights that God has taught me and hearing what God has taught them... thus my blog, Stirring the Deep. My focus is on a relationship, not a religion. Life is in the relationship. I believe in a balance and unity of body, mind and spirit. I feel it's important to nurture all three for they all affect each other. I try to live in the present, where the Holy Spirit is. And I try to do all with the motive of love. I've come to believe life is a journey and not a destination. It isn't about perfection, is it about growth.

as we thread that narrow path many of the traits of the Babylon system can stay with us for quite a time, ..as much as in these times we much strive to heed the warning in Ephesians of putting on The Fathers Armour, which is hard enough,..2 Books ahead in Colossians 3:8,are the hardest set of clothes we must wear!,The Sons!,..compassion,kindness,humility,gentleness and patience,…and over the top of them,..Love…..and its one size fits all.
i have still alot of growing to do or losing weight as the case maybe,…but every step along the Wondrous Path i get closer to the day ive got them and the Armour all on,..and a big sharp shiny Sword of Truth

Hi Brian … truly it’s God work in us to renew and shape us. If we seek Him and follow that still small voice leading us .. then He sanctifies and He works in us according to His pleasure. It’s simple really, but what comes hard is the trust .. but event that is the fruit of spending time with Him each day seeking to be taught by Him and no other. Matthew 6:33

Hi Brian – in the moment we often don’t understand all that God is doing … but in hindsight we see how all the pieces fit together. Though, we may not understand we know His faithfulness and each piece is perfect.

Hi Rachel,
you and i both know that Beautiful Voice,as it leads us and teaches us as we grow in all the ways we need,on this path out of this ‘world’ in these great times we are even Blessed to be living in,..never mind where we are on our paths.
ive a little picture that hangs in my kitchen,..its Proverbs 3 v 5
“Trust in The Lord with all thine heart and lean not on your own understanding”
and ive used it many many times,to get me through hard steps
patience is the virtue im trying to learn from Him,..or should i say,..He’s trying to teach me!
But with The Teacher we have,i trust we will both get to the end of our paths!

Rachel, i guess that what it boils down to,having that Faith that Our Father loves us beyond our comprehension no matter what happens,..that seems good or bad to us,..and to Worship and be Thankful To Him in everything that happens as its all part of His Wonderful Plan,…thats were that comfort of rest through calling from a pure heart to Him comes from and given, through all our fantastic trials.
