Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.

spa

The higher we ascend in understanding of divine love; the more our hearts start to mourn for the suffering occurring in this world. Our own peace doesn’t comfort us, for how can one who loves be comforted while others continue to suffer, and suffer greatly? In a world of suffering, peace is a byproduct of a hope, thus an illusion until the hope is fulfilled.

In lack of understanding, we are unaware of the extensive suffering throughout the world on many levels and the part we play in perpetuating the cruelty, suffering and pain. We don’t really “see” it. We may hear of it, but it doesn’t penetrate our being causing us to make a change. We feel empathy for a moment, but the blindness allows us to get caught up in our daily lives feeding the very cruelty we despise. Our hearts and minds are darkened so that we think “things aren’t so bad” and “we are pretty good”, thus others who are enduring suffering feel the coldness of a “hardened heart”. It’s understanding our blindness and the ability to be blind that creates true humility. We don’t know as we should. 1 Corin 8:2

For all creation is in bondage to the cruelty of others, as well as their own cruelty upon themselves. As a human being it’s near impossible to not be an instrument of cruelty to creation on some level. Our infrastructure isn’t built on the care of others, but on their abuse and suffering. And as it continues to expand upon cruel foundations, the suffering only increases. It’s like mud is everywhere and we can’t become clean, and the current mud makes more mud.

As we start to awaken to the truth, thus divine love, we start to see both the suffering and the part we play in it more clearly. This mindfulness is difficult to behold, for it cloaks the heart in a garment of mourning and sadness.

In this awareness, our hunger and thirst for righteousness grows strong and we push into it with all our being. Our hope is that the Creator will soon have great mercy and come to His creation to save, heal, restore, and renew. We have enough suffering. We need healing and renewal. Malachi 4:2 We need the medicinal touch of the Creator to flood this world like a light in the darkness to set us free from fear, pain, suffering, and death that we receive and give. To open up the door into this realm and let His presence overtake this place. For with every day, the suffering increases and a spirit of mourning grows heavy.

It’s a hope that can only be fulfilled by His spirit alone infusing this realm, infusing us, for it is impossible for the enslaved human spirit, which is bound in weakness, to break such strong bonds. With this hope of deliverance for all of creation from the chains of suffering, we become prisoners of hope. Prisoners, in their weakness, who can become so much more by His power in them. We are the problem, and we, in our very weakness, are the cure for Christ came to make us into the temple of the spirit of God, the spirit we all so desperately need. May we seek to be the temple of His divine nature.

Psalm 30:11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,

This verse and others like it, put a spark of life into the sadness, a hope. The hope that one day soon the suffering will end, that there will be no more cruelty, pain, and death. That the dawning day will truly bring in a Day that the Lord has made. Psalm 118:24 A Day to change all days.

The ways of life are so beautiful. They captivate the spirit like the most stunning sunset. The purity and perfection they contain is glorious, harmonious, loving and life-giving. Yet, here in the world it is near impossible to abide in this beauty that our hearts so long for. Thus our hunger and thirst for His righteousness increase by which perfection is manifested among all of creation. We need deliverance, a healed creation, and the promise of it keeps us prisoners to this hope. I pray a hope that is soon fulfilled.

While we wait for the consummation of all our hopes, may we continue to seek to increase and abound in loving kindness. In this world, even little lights seeking to love others in sincerity and truth make a significant impact.

Zechariah 9:11-12 “As for you also,

Because of the blood of your covenant,

I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit.

Return to the stronghold,

You prisoners of hope.

Even today I declare

That I will restore double to you

We Are What We Eat

We Are What We Eat:

Choosing Our Spiritual Home

Space

The heavenly Father loves all His creation. It’s time for His all consuming love to manifest in creation. It’s time for the elements of darkness/death to be destroyed and the elements of life/love to shine forth.  2 Peter 3:10-13 It starts and ends with the transformation of our individual lives into the elements of His divine character.

For those seeking the Kingdom of Heaven, which is the manifestation of the divine character of the Heavenly Father in our souls and in our reality, we come to the understanding of what is written in this post. We understand as we let go of the covenant of death and embrace the covenant of life.

When our spirits leave the pit, which is a perpetuating death state within our souls, and we begin to enter everlasting life, which is a perpetuating life state within our souls, our physical reality reflects that transformation. The elements of death we once fostered, feed, grew and greatly suffered for leave our lives. The elements of the Kingdom of Heaven, joy, peace, love, and power, become our reality.

Faith is Having Understanding

As we resurrect to become children of God, all we do we do with spiritual understanding. This is very different than living by the law, in which there is a lack of spiritual understanding thus room for error and an inability to walk in truth. By spiritual understanding, which is having faith as a part of us, we grow and life is manifested within us.  Romans 8:2 As spiritual understanding fills our thoughts, perceptions, decisions, we create a different external reality. We become reflections of our heavenly Father; mirrors of truth and love.

As we begin to live according to the ways of the Kingdom of Light, we forsake the kingdom of darkness and all the ways it has manifested in this earth; which are numerous. In our transformation to children of the Kingdom of God, Hades, hell and death are destroyed from our lives. As we transform into the sons and daughters of God, as members of the Kingdom of Heaven, all that isn’t of it is extricated from our lives. When there is no one left partaking of these entities of death, they cease to exist, they are destroyed. Christ is the Good Shepherd leading us all out, thus ultimately destroying death. John 14:6, Revelation 20:13-14

The “Hidden” Hell

The physical is a reflection of the spiritual. This earth, as currently governed, is a part of the kingdom of darkness as it’s ruled by evil practices. Thus, it’s a prison of bondage and torment for many souls. Souls are kept in this prison by the lies they hold. People are under the oppression of evil as it pursues them at every turn and without truth to set them free, evil consumes their reality. Proverbs 13:21 In the darkness of the pit, they can’t “see” how their choices and actions create the reality they want to escape from; for if we partake of hell, we stay in it. No one wants to be in hell, yet people continue to perpetuate its existence in their blind lusts, thus keeping their souls trapped in what they are longing to escape from. We reap what we sow. Galatians 6:7  What we do to others, we do to ourselves. Matthew 7:12 These are spiritual laws not to be ignored if we desire to be set free.

One aspect of our physical reality where the reality of hell on this earth is clearly manifested is in the meat and dairy industries. As it is today, it’s a picture of hell, a reflection of hell, and it’s a part of hell. Many souls perpetuate its existence day in and day out with delight and enjoyment.

Without thought, multiple times a day, people consume the flesh of death and cruelty. In this consumption they find satisfaction and delight. When meat and dairy products are offered at low prices, it brings a welcomed pleasure for the pennies saved. Yet, at what cost do these low prices come? Mass production of animals with low-cost demands equates to hideous realities for animals. Animals we are to be caring for.

Marketing creates and feeds lies that convince people they need meat and dairy. Through fear, it keeps people trapped in growing and expanding hellish conditions, thus their own hell. Advertising alludes to happy cows, pigs, and chickens, and masks hidden conditions of suffering, torment and pain. Images projected upon people’s minds create and entice lustful insatiable appetites for the flesh of death. Their “delights” are fulfilled in hideous realities that most people couldn’t stomach to watch; tortuous practices full of suffering. There is a gruesome reality behind these illusions, when characterized would sum up as hell on earth. No one wants to be “in hell”, yet this is the reality they create for many many animals every day.

Imprisoned, bound, tortured, trapped in fear, pain, and suffering, many animals are in a living hell … and the keepers of hell demand more.

One aspect of hell is those who receive the torturous treatment. Another aspect is those who perpetuate the treatment.

Anyone who partakes of this living hell perpetuates it. To willingly partake and perpetuate hell is to be of a spirit of death, feeding upon death.

In our culture, the word demon has many horrific images. I don’t even like to write it. But it’s a word to characterize a type of spirit, a spirit feeding on and perpetuating death. It’s one who deems itself more significant than others. It’s one who cares only for its needs. It’s a spirit seeking lustful satisfaction with no thought of the ripple effects. It’s one who turns a blind eye to truth. Those of this mindset do not enter the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom is entered through our soul state. If our soul is feasting and creating light it’s a part of the Kingdom of Light, if our soul is feasting and perpetuating darkness it’s a part of the kingdom of darkness. We are what we eat.

What we do to others, we bring upon ourselves. If we want mercy, we give mercy. Psalm 18:25 If we want forgiveness, we forgive. Matthew 6:14-15 If we want life, we feed and perpetuate life. We reap what we sow, because we are creative beings. What if God treated us as we treat others of His creation? In this reflection, we see our deep need for His mercy, and once we have this deep understanding we give mercy and change our ways.

At one point, we have all been under the sway of evil. Ephesians 2:2 We have partaken of and perpetuated cruelty and death. This is why we need to be saved; this attitude of the heart that feasts on violence and death. The Israelites lusted for meat in the wilderness. They chose the covenant of death, and we have walked in their footsteps. When will it end? When we choose the covenant of life in the reality of our lives and stop calling evil good and good evil.

If we continue to live our lives feeding cruelty, suffering, and pain, we continue to hold onto death, this pit, hell, and our lives will reflect this reality. If we want the kingdom of darkness to be destroyed, we have to stop perpetuating it. If we seek the living waters of truth to fill our minds and hearts thus transform our lives, the Kingdom of God will bloom in us and around us.

When we are ready to embrace the covenant of life, we will stop eating flesh of death and cruelty, and embrace the harmony God intended to exist in creation. This is one area of many in which we are transformed as we enter into the reality of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Redemption by God’s Hand

Redemption by God’s Hand

God is love. God is righteous. He isn’t one or the other. He is both ALL the time; He is righteous love. When you know God, then you know this love and you begin to see it in ALL His ways; and certainly in His plan of salvation for mankind.

The spirit of rebellion in each of us leading to sin thus death first revealed itself in the Garden of Eden. At its appearance, God foretold His salvation. Genesis 3:15 A Seed (Christ) of the woman, would defeat such a spirit forever. God, the perfect Father and Creator, set out to develop His creation into a people who could abide with Him forever in perfect righteous love. He is love and for a true bond of love to exist, love is given and received in its purest truest form. Mark 12:30 He had the love; and His creation would to.

With the choice of following self in the Garden of Eden, mankind showed their weakness; their ability to go against God’s will of perfect love. They demonstrated that without being governed by the Spirit of God from within, they would go their own way forsaking God’s, thus severing the bond of perfect love. When Adam and Eve received as truth the lie based in fear that they were “missing out,” fear and lies were brought into this creation. Genesis 3:1-8 They chose to go against God’s instructions, which kept them in perfect love with God, one another and creation. Now they were no longer governed by pure love, but fear, and not by truth, but lies. Thus sin existed in them and in creation. Adam and Eve didn’t understand the consequences of going their own way for they only knew God’s perfection, until the moment they went astray in their hearts. This was the first time they were exposed to anything related to death and death itself.

Now all of God’s children are born in pain. Genesis 3:16, 3:20 Eve is the mother of all living. And because of sin, her children, us, are born in pain (sin). All have to come through death/sin then into true life. Hebrews 9:27 This journey teaches us the consequences of going our own way, (an understanding Adam and Eve originally didn’t possess) and our need to have the mind of Christ to truly discern between good and evil, right and wrong. Even Christ, as our forerunner, learned obedience (righteousness) through the things He suffered. Hebrews 5:7-8 God took their transgression and thus ours, and used it to teach mankind an very important lesson for life to exist eternally: only God’s will is good, thus we have to be a part of Him. He put creation on a path of salvation in which He would give us His spirit with the mind of Christ so we would always walk in righteous love with Him. 1 Corin 1:30

Challenge: To Really Believe in God

As we saw in the OT, people will not believe in God; that His ways are better, He forgives and He is love. When He laid it all out they wouldn’t follow Him. Isaiah 48:18, Deuteronomy 28 They wouldn’t receive His forgiveness and repent. When their sin manifested terrible consequences, they kept rebelling. When He spoke from heaven, did amazing miracles, and showed His power, they still strayed. Finally in Christ, He showed the depth of His love and forgiveness, people still would not believe so He would be Lord of their lives. (True belief is walking in God’s truths because you know and love Him; not simply acknowledging His existence, who He is or what He does.)

Consider your own life, how often do you look to your understanding instead of following God? No matter what we learn or know, following self is like a cancer we can’t rid ourselves of. We can’t believe God to wholly follow Him. Luke 16:30-31, Romans 7:24-25 (If we truly believed, we would follow wholeheartedly.) As Adam and Eve did, we’ve done the same. The difference in our relationship with God now verses the Old Testament, is that now Christ is preparing His vessels (our souls), which He purchased by His blood, to fill them with His righteous, so we can abide with God forever as eternal creations.

Victory of Christ

Christ did for us what we couldn’t; became our faith. Hebrews 12:2 By His spirit in us, we are able to believe and follow; to possess a spirit having the mind of Christ which is being poured out on all flesh. Ezekiel 39:29, Ezekiel 11:19-20, Hebrews 8:9-11, Acts 2:17 Christ had to die and resurrect to be the seed of life; a seed that once it died could be raised in many. John 12:23-25 He had to die so His spirit could be resurrected in many, because no one would truly believe God or follow Him unless they were a part of Him. 2 Peter 1:4 No one comes to Christ unless God calls Him. John 6:44 No one can come to the Father expect through Christ. John 14:6 It’s all God’s work by His spirit. Something dead can’t bring itself to life. Something unborn can’t birth itself. For us to believe, really believe, we need His spirit and this is what He is giving us in abundance.

Becoming a new creation who can abide with God forever is the purpose and victory of Christ. 1 Corin 15:55 Without God’s spirit living in us in such a fullness as Christ, there will always be sin and death. Ephesians 4:13, 1:10, 3:19 For us to be God’s creation who can abide with Him for eternity, we have to have the mind of Christ and this is exactly what He is giving us in these days, though some are rejecting that voice, wisdom, and good conscience to their own destruction.  1 Timothy 1:19-20

Our sin is harsh; it is death. When we see what it creates in the Old Testament; death, destruction, stoning … it is horrific. Thus, in His love God destroyed it in Christ. He destroyed the seed of death. He destroyed the self-will in all of us through Christ’s death and resurrection. Being birthed in pain, we learn the death nature of self-will. By God’s grace in Christ, the self-will dies and souls are married to Christ and transition into eternal life. Though dead, He resurrects to us to life and starts to mold us into eternal creations.

Romans 7:24-25 O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God–through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.
