The Appearance of God’s Judgment

Even the stork in the heavens Knows her appointed times; And the turtledove, the swift, and the swallow Observe the time of their coming. But My people do not know the judgment of the LORD.  Jeremiah 8:7

For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.  Hosea 6:6

Thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘Execute true justice, Show mercy and compassion Everyone to his brother. Zechariah 7:9

In mercy the throne will be established; And One will sit on it in truth, in the tabernacle of David, Judging and seeking justice and hastening righteousness.” Isaiah 16:5

My passion is cultivating a deep relationship with God and helping others to do the same. I LOVE sharing with others insights that God has taught me and hearing what God has taught them... thus my blog, Stirring the Deep. My focus is on a relationship, not a religion. Life is in the relationship. I believe in a balance and unity of body, mind and spirit. I feel it's important to nurture all three for they all affect each other. I try to live in the present, where the Holy Spirit is. And I try to do all with the motive of love. I've come to believe life is a journey and not a destination. It isn't about perfection, is it about growth.

  1. Hi Rachel, EW here. This past month you have been in a series of perception that I think I am understanding the main point of: If we look back to the old testement; many of God’s teachings end with, “in the latter days you will understand it clearly”. I know He was talking about the “coming” Holy Spirit teaching all who truly accept Him and follow the “will” that He had laid out(Blessed are those that do the “will” by nature. However, God has (for some reason) made the Thomas like me). In studying His word & comparing to history, I see clearly multitudes of the prophesies that have been fulfilled. Prophesies that denomenational-church is still looking for! —I feel this to be a time as was with Daniel: Jesus had told him of the war in heaven & he said he understood it. Yet the thought of it made him sick for three weeks. Because he had set his mind to know & understand God, Jesus said he was a man greatly loved and that he was not being ignored, but that Jesus was very buisy kicking satan & his followers out of heaven into the earth(personally I think God delays in our lives that we will build faith in Him).

  2. Hi Rachel, EW here. I try to hold this perception of yours, in loving people as God has said. Maybe it is the thorn in my side; governments are just a chip of the block of religion. Because I have(much by choice) done more & seen more by the time I was 30, than most people do & see in three life times, I know that the majority of denominational-christans & politicians would not spit in another person’s gutts if they were on fire. I believe this could be the reason God said to obey the laws of your land. For, by the judgment you give, so shall you be judged. In the United States, if people trully followed God, they could make things right.—Scripture says time is coming when denominational-christans will be in the same perdicament as the people they have pasted by in life. And the same loss of liberty & justice & freedom of choice & the making young men expendable as politicans have decreed is coming on themselves. As for myself, almighty dollar has never been my god. Even though most of my life I have hated people, I have always shared what ever I had with anyone. A lot of times, I later find they were better off than me. But, that is between them and God. I pray you keep on with the study, because I feel I am not where God wants me, and that is the only thing that matters!

    • Hi EW .. your reference to “in the latter days you will understand it clearly” .. is quite true. For those who are seeking truth from the true Father they are growing in Him, which means they are growing in wisdom, which means they are growing in understanding of His truth in a way that is drastically affecting their lives in increased love, peace, joy, delights. As the light comes … so it comes to judge the darkness. If you are in the truth your outlook is peace, if you are on the outside of truth your outlook is suffering.

The truths of God are being revealed in hearts in such a way that is casting off all lies, darkness, blindness … there is no greater pursuit than to truly know the heavenly Father as our perfect Father in every way.
