Purified vs. Stream of Righteousness

Purified Vessel

vs.

Stream of Righteousness

space

beautiful arch in rock in Bryce CanyonThe narrow path, into the narrow gate, is the path of purification of our heart, mind and soul so that we are transformed to be a spiritual offspring of the divine and not of the carnal. Matthew 7:14, John 3:4-6 The narrow gate is our purified spirit, and through the narrow gate we enter into the power of God, and the power of God into us.

The narrow gate is entrance into the kingdom of eternity, where nothing that defiles can enter in, only those purified in heart. Matthew 5:8, Rev 21:27, 1 Corin 6:9-11 The gate is our spirit (sum of mind, heart, soul). Once purified, we can connect or be opened to the realm of the divine to receive the dynamic nature of the righteousness of God. Righteousness is the perfect wisdom for the moment. It’s thinking, doing, and saying the right thing at the right time, which is to love perfectly. Being only a gate, we control none of righteousness flow. We are simply a pure vessel of honor for it to flow through. 1 Thess 4:3-5 For, it’s with a pure heart and mind that we are able to “prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God”. Romans 12:2 Once cleansed from the residue of the rebellious mind by the truths of God, then we are able to enter the narrow gate into the realm of the divine, as partakers of the divine. Thus, we are one with God and He with us. John 17:21-23

Though our vessel (mind, heart, soul) is cleansed so that we think, desire and act in purity, we still lack righteousness. Self-righteousness is thinking (judging) we know what is righteous in any one situation or moment. Because we are not all knowing, it is impossible on our own, no matter how pure we are, to know the perfect loving thing to do in any one moment. For any one response to someone, there are always a plethora of choices of what we could do or say, and further we don’t know the true deep needs or hurts of another. Thus, though we have good intentions, we can still hurt others because of our lack of knowing. Our inherent limited capabilities keep us from acting perfectly right, thus righteous.  So though we may be purified in our thoughts and desires to only give divine love, we are still not all knowing, thus we need the wisdom of God to flow through us as a continual stream every moment of our existence if we want to walk rightly.

This difference between being purified as a vessel and actually able to act in righteousness is taught in the life of Job. When we walk the path of purification, our minds are completely transformed so that we desire nothing but goodness and love for all of creation. In this, we can mistakenly assume that we can walk in righteousness, for our thoughts and desires are pure.  It says that Job was “blameless and upright and one who feared God and shunned evil.” Job 1:1 He was pure in heart, yet he still lacked one very important thing that is everything, righteousness. Righteousness can only come from God as a continuous river, which God is the source, because only God knows the perfectly right thing to do in any one moment. Amos 5:24 This is why Jesus said, He only does what He sees the Father do. He was streaming the righteousness of God. John 5:19

Job was blameless, but he mistaken that purity for righteousness. Job 34:5-6 But by stripping away his life fruit was he able to see his inherent weakness. He came to the understanding that even though he was man of purity, that was nothing without the righteousness of God moving through him; a righteousness he could never contain on his own as a limited created being. It can only flow through him. Thus an ever-dependent need on God. This realization is what it means to be poor in spirit. And, the kingdom of heaven belongs to the poor in spirit. Matthew 5:3

We are nothing apart from the vine. John 15:5 But to be apart of the vine, we must first become a purified vessel, so the living waters of righteousness can flow through us. Otherwise our rebellious nature and mind stand in the way of the flow of the righteousness.

Christ is the door. He is the way. He is the truth. He is the life. He is the one that leads us on that path of purity as our internal teacher, out of the mind of rebellion. He leads us to the gate, which is an oneness with His spirit. Like a bride clothed in white prepared for her husband, He purifies us by teaching us the truth and we in turn obeying His instruction on how to abide in divine love. Thus, through Him we have access to the living waters of righteousness. In oneness with Him for all eternity, righteousness is a never-ending river flowing through us so that we live in righteousness as He does.  He truly is our righteousness, the Lord our Righteousness. Jeremiah 33:16

It is this union that contains the power of eternal life that this world and we so desperately need. The work of the Holy Spirit has been to teach us and lead us into all truth, thus all purity. He cleanses our thoughts, minds and souls preparing us for an oneness with God, for only the pure in heart see God. Only the pure in heart can enter into God’s holy presence. This path of purification is the race we run. Hebrews 12:1 It’s working out our salvation with holy fear and trembling. Phil 2:12 It’s obeying Christ, the truth, because we love Him and want to be one with Him, thus one with His truth. Our obedience to abiding in divine love is our purification process to ready us for unity with Him, our continual righteousness.

The lesson we learn before entering the narrow gate is we must not mistake our purification for righteousness. The purification of our vessel is what allows perfect righteousness to flow through us. For eternity we are dependent on this flow of righteousness from Him for every moment, and this is what our oneness with Him gives us. And in this flow is His power.

Breaking Free

Breaking Free to Bring in the Light

Water turning into wine …

Behold, I send My messenger,
And he will prepare the way before Me.
And the Lord, whom you seek,
Will suddenly come to His temple,
Even the Messenger of the covenant,
In whom you delight.
Behold, He is coming,”
Says the Lord of hosts.

But who can endure the day of His coming?
And who can stand when He appears?
For He is like a refiner’s fire
And like launderers’ soap.
He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver;
He will purify the sons of Levi,
And purge them as gold and silver,
That they may offer to the Lord
An offering in righteousness.

Malachi 3:1-3

For the truth seekers, as your spirit is knit to Christ’s, what you experience is written above … a thorough scrubbing that leads to operating by the mind of God.

Two Prisons

In this scrubbing process, two prisons become apparent. One is the pit of the spiritually dead world that we are physically born into. You realize what we call life is death, and what we call death is still death. We wake, eat, sleep, and do it all over again day after day. Our spiritual power is minuscule. At times we see glimpses of our power derived from love, and that hope keeps us pushing forward. But even then, what we “see” pales in comparison to the power of a spiritually alive creation. As a whole, we are the weakest of creations; especially given the mind we possess.

It’s this one possession, our mind, that could make us most powerful, makes us most weak because of the cancerous corrosion it has undergone. And that leads to the other prison, our corrupted mind; corrupted because of the lies that rule it. When the mind is knit in lies, it creates a prison of depravity and bondage basked in debilitating harm. The narrow path to escape both prisons is to seek the truth in love from our Creator and eternal Father.

Freed from the Prison of Your Mind

Freedom from both prisons starts with the mind; as healing comes inside out. Seeking truth transitions the mind from a source manifesting harm to good. Romans 12:2

To abide in truth you have to seek for it because the multitude of lies. But if you seek you will find. Matthew 6:33, 7:7 When you find truth, there is no mistaking it because the new framework based in truth creates love that changes you and those around you. 1 Timothy 1:5

Launderer’s Soap

For those who have been seeking the Truth, as Christ’s Spirit fills your soul, every contrary aspect to His love in you surfaces. All is exposed in His light for there is no darkness in Him. All unrighteousness has to be removed as He moves in. His light exposes the layers of your soul, what you see, you want nothing to do with. This is the beginning of learning to “die to self”.  First you SEE, THEN you desire to die to your mind and feast on His. This is why the seekers of truth are being changed into wine. As the Light reveals the darkness, the truth they seek replaces the lies. Without truth, the lies remain in charge.

This depth of cleansing can be tough. However, it’s the path to the purest of love.  As the scum of your prison walls is exposed, Christ showers His affections on you and gives you the truth to grab a hold of. Bit by bit He breaks you free and fills you with Him. John 14:6, 10:27

As your soul is scrubbed, you must trust all to Christ as only He can free your mind, because you are in prison. This is His utmost desire because of His love for you. Zechariah 9:11, Isaiah 42:7 This is why He gave up His Spirit, to fill yours. You must be as a child trusting in a loving Father who can do all things, as it becomes obvious you can not as you come head-to-head with your limitations. You must trust in following His lead. This level of trust is very powerful. Choose to trust. Then your hunger for a righteous spirit will be satisfied. Matthew 5:6

Now is the time to dine with the Truth; to die to the old ways of thinking and acting that are revealed by the Light, and embrace the mind of Christ. Feast on His mind of truth, not your mind of lies. Let that mind die. What you feed will grow. Watch your thoughts. Seek to be aware of what you are meditating on, and meditate on the truths His Spirit teaches you. Starve all thoughts contrary to His truth; all fear, rejection, failure, and self-depreciating thoughts by not focusing or feeding them. Instead, feed your mind with the words of truth and who you are as His cherished creation. Isaiah 58

As minds are filled with the Light, the Light will implode the pit of the spiritually dead world and destroy it inside out, the first prison. With the Light here, the imprisoned spirits can be freed from their flesh graves and clothed with immortality. 1 Corinthians 15:54,  Zechariah 4:6

Continue seeking truth and you’ll find that Christ is allowing you to partake of His mind as you are able. He will show you beautiful truths about who you and others are as His beloved creation. You’ll see that the sin/darkness was a part of abiding in the pit and being spiritually dead, and His desire is to set you free from the prisons; internally and externally.

“For behold, the day is coming,
Burning like an oven,
And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble.
And the day which is coming shall burn them up,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“That will leave them neither root nor branch.

But to you who fear My name
The Sun of Righteousness shall arise
With healing in His wings;
And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves.
You shall trample the wicked,
For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet
On the day that I do this,”
Says the Lord of hosts.

Malachi 4:1-3

A Fog of Lies & The Path Out

A Fog of Lies

AND

The Path Out

1 John 5:19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.

A thick morning fog masks the creation that lies beneath. It hovers over the earth and prohibits our ability to perceive what is real. But as the sun streams through, we begin to see.

If you once were overweight, depressed, a work alcoholic, alcoholic, people pleaser, without hope, bound by illness, entrapped by fear, enslaved by religion, a fulfillment of your parents’ caustic words, agoraphobic or any type of phobic, then you know the power of a lie. The lies we believe travel deep scripting our lives.

Most of us grossly underestimate the extent that this world is under the sway of the wicked one. All is backwards, reversed, up side down and twisted causing grief, suffering, pain and death. Where do you think all these thoughts and concepts came from that put us and others in such states as above? Perhaps it’s too difficult to admit our world is so twisted, because then what? Ignorance isn’t bliss, the truth is.

Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace

Over creation lays a dense fog of lies. Beginning in the womb, like a poisonous gas this destructive mist infiltrates every aspect of our belief systems, our minds, thus our lives. It touches everything, living little unscathed by its presence. Our perception has been crafted by it; thus all has been marred by its influence; education, history, money, economics, politics, media, medicine, marriage, sex, family dynamics, religion, and relationships. It defines who we are and how we are to live. It defines our value or lack of it. It defines how we work. It defines happiness. It defines how we think and what is important. It defines God. It defines everything.

The penetration of lies into our society, thinking, acting and ways of living is cavernous as an abyss … the more you see the deeper it goes. It’s expansive as the ocean … when you think you see the edge there is more. Like computers, our minds have been programmed by this fog teaching us how to think, act, and believe in ways that foster our destruction. Just take an honest look around and see what we have been creating.

Our minds are very powerful. What we believe, we act on, and manifest. If we believe in lies then we act on them and because they are lies they create pain, suffering, havoc and chaos. Our minds are easily manipulated and used against us on many levels. They can be a prison, and the greatest weapon against us. For one example, consider the type of messaging streaming over the airwaves and how those “airwaves” are demanding more of our constant attention. Look at how it’s altered your thinking. You will see the programming language of evil. It follows all the protocols to program us to think certain ways (repetition, playing on emotions, defining value etc) thus believe and live in a way that to our ignorance ultimately destroys us. Ephesians 2:2 How wise we are to pursue wisdom from above.

The path out is truth, manifested by the Spirit of God. Truth comes from the source of truth, God. If we seek the truth from God, we are opening a door in our minds that allows the sun to start streaming in.

Yet many don’t seek truth from God, because the perception of God has also been marred by this fog. God is not far from us, as many of the lies dictate to keep us imprisoned. Acts 17:27 One of the greatest deceptions is God’s lack of love for us; a real love that affects the detailed interworking of day to day life. The reality is He is vey present in His love, but we can’t “see” Him because of the multitude of lies we believe about Him and us. The lies keep us from seeing and seeking Him. We’ve all had the experience where our own blindness about a situation kept us from seeing it for what it was. When later we become aware of what was really going on, we are amazed at “how blind we were”. In this fog of lies, the moment we glimpse God’s majesty, the experience is corrupted by the programming our minds have been shaped by, as pictured in the parable of the sower of the seed. Mark 4:1-20 Like everything else, our perception of God has been shaped by this corrupted fog keeping us far from Him, by keeping our minds from Him.

Defy the lies and seek. Seeking is key. Because of this consuming fog, seeking is required as the truth has been hidden. We have to seek to be able to see something new, which is the very nature of seeking. Initially, with such a deafening cloak shrouding our ability to see, it takes diligence to seek truth and continue to. This is where most fail, thus live the consequences of the lies they believe. We’ve been programmed to believe all sorts of declarations about what is truth and what it isn’t. But when we dare to seek to truly know, God rewards us with the truth. Truth doesn’t come all at once. It’s little by little, percept upon percept. In time, our minds, lives and souls are transformed.

Where is the door to this path of truth we seek? Christ, the Truth, is the door. John 10:9 God manifested Himself in a man, to show us the way, to show us the truth. He established a corresponding written word to assist us on this path. If we seek the truth, by the guidance of His Spirit, He teaches us the truth. Psalm 119:105, Matthew 7:7, Matthew 11:29 Without the lies, the barriers to experiencing God’s love and truth are removed. He laid a path for us to traverse to move us out of the fog and into the brilliant sunlight; a way of manifesting a new mind, thus a new being.

Pray for the gift of faith to believe that God, the source of truth, rewards those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 Seeking to know Him as He is, is the path out of the prison of our minds and to true liberty and abundant life.
