As long as you believe you are a victim of the world & sin, you will never believe the power of God’s righteousness working in and through you. Life is greater than death, for God is greater than all.
Contemplating the oneness of Truth while guided by the Voice of Truth produces the evolution or maturation of the soul, spirit and mind, so reality can begin to reflect Truth's immutable, divine attributes, which manifest the highest good for all. You are so right about purging sin from our lives. Only the pure in heart truly see God. I just happened to read an old post of yours (Jan. 2010) about writing a “love letter” to God. I wrote a book called Love Letters to God: Deeper Intimacy through Written Prayer in 2004 (Multnomah Publisher). I fully concur with you that writing to God is a wonderful means of developing intimacy with HIm. I have journaled to Him for over 30 years and have numerous journals that attest to this fact. I wish you God’s richest blessings as you write *your* love letters to Him. As you know, your life will never be the same!

Hi Lynn – what a good concept for a book .. journaling is indeed powerful. It has truly helped me to learn and discern God’s still small voice in my life. I recommend it to all.
Transformation involves purging the sin, which is what I would call reckoning the old man dead, but also putting on the new man, renewing the mind. Having a knowledge of the new man definitely casts light on the old man. And I think the more one puts on the new man, the darkness of the old man is revealed. And until the redemption of our bodies, we always have to deal with that old man trying to raise its ugly head, by reckoning it dead. Thank God we have something to put on, not just put off.
