1 Peter 4:15-17 But let NONE OF YOUR SUFFER as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people’s matters. Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter. For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
Talking about different types of suffering, and how we don’t need to suffer because of sin. We’ve been given the grace to walk in righteousness, thus life, which we have been given in Christ.
My passion is cultivating a deep relationship with God and helping others to do the same. I LOVE sharing with others insights that God has taught me and hearing what God has taught them... thus my blog, Stirring the Deep. My focus is on a relationship, not a religion. Life is in the relationship.
I believe in a balance and unity of body, mind and spirit. I feel it's important to nurture all three for they all affect each other. I try to live in the present, where the Holy Spirit is. And I try to do all with the motive of love. I've come to believe life is a journey and not a destination. It isn't about perfection, is it about growth.
Thank you Rachel, for sharing about suffering and what we don’t have to suffer for or in. I haven’t been able to watch your videos for awhile, but do appreciate you and your faithfulness to Him and us! God bless you!
