The Gospel of the Kingdom

Looking at a bigger picture of the gospel of Christ.

Author: Rachel

Contemplating the oneness of Truth while guided by the Voice of Truth produces the evolution or maturation of the soul, spirit and mind, so reality can begin to reflect Truth's immutable, divine attributes, which manifest the highest good for all. This blog reflects an ever-deepening understanding of the Truth a soul gains as its mind is renewed by Truth's pure Light.

  1. only those with ears opened by the Holy Spirit will hear what your saying Rachel dear sister,..all i can say is i concur with everything you say,.and use Mark 4,v 26-29,verse 28,tells in farmers terms the nature of the process from seed ..growing…ripening …that leads to harvest …and then threshing!…but also the same as us first becoming vessels,..then servants…then called friends….then called brothers, with our Saviour…and ultimately,..to be called son/daughters of His Father
and 30-32 to concur with what Our Saviour taught on this matter. and to add ,The Kingdom that we pray for will only be fulfilled ,when,as it is Written in Isaiah 9 v 6,7,.A Son born that Will Rule a peaceful Earth ,Forever..,.
.and especially when what is Written in 1 Corinthians 15,v 23 -28, ..The Father, Will Desend, and Judge His Son ,…in Front of His Children,… in His Kingdom…..so that the Father Most High Will Be All in all ….

    So Shall It Be So

    • Hi Anonymous .. thanks for sharing your thoughts … this gospel message does come alive in our lives through a process … as you mentioned. As Christ has authority now … and can reign in us, we can experience this eternal life and rest now. It’s an incredible truth, counter to this world. No doubt the extent of those promises and blessings will continue to grow, but I believe they start in this life among the first fruits.

  2. Rachel, in this discussion
    would you please comment
on this word for me. Initiative.
    Where does initiative play?
    1.
an introductory act or step; leading action:
to take the initiative in making friends.
    2.
    readiness and ability in initiating action;
    (in the Kingdom)?

    • Hi Glenn … not sure exactly what you are asking, can you clarify?

      • Yes, sorry, it’s a bit difficult to put
in words. What I was tying to arrive at,
is a way of saying that in stepping away
from self will, at some point you would loose
some sense of your initiative to venture.
Not saying it against the pre-emenence of
God’s Spirit, but saying there seems to be
a second phase of walking with the Lord
where your self will is actually engaged with
        him, rather than denied.
As a better example, you were saying, except
you become as little children, you will in no wise
enter the kingdom. But little children, still have self
will that motivates them to interact, and it is not
        a negative.
If I say, I would like to know Rachel better, I have
to trust God’s Spirit, to venture, but it’s my self will
that’s trusting God to allow it.

      • Hi Glenn — good question .. I encourage you seek to understand this dynamic from God … it is about you resting completely in Him and working in line with your desires, as a child.

        Psalm 37:3-5 Trust in the LORD, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
4 Delight yourself also in the LORD,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the LORD,
        Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.

Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

There are a lot of verses on this dynamic … looking at them together as seeking God’s instruction helps to understand.

  3. Powerful and so in line with how He has been revealing Himself. There is so much peace and rest in knowing He will direct our steps and He will use us to cast the seed or prepare the soil for His kingdom as He intends. I praise You LORD and know You are faithful. Thanks Rachel, great message!

    • Hi Tom – thanks … the true message of Christ is incredibly powerful that penetrates and affects our lives right now in every way, as I continue to really learn and experience it – it is astounding me.

  4. Wonderful and powerful, Rachel. I love that it is all Him. Confusing to us sometimes because we want to DO something. About 8 years ago or so, He told me that He had everything covered. I was trying to homeschool my special needs daughter, the older daughter in her teens had needs too, along with my hubby, who isn’t walking with God. I asked Him then what was I suppose to do then? haha! Rest in Him!
God bless you as He continues to astound you!

  5. In saying compelled by the Spirit,
would that include a ‘divine connection’
that you cannot understand, but you
    perceive very strongly?
If so, then compelled would be accurate.

  6. Rachel, I didn’t mean to intimate
against your use of compel here. You’re
correct in saying the Holy Spirit will compel.
    Definitely, for sure.
I took your comment to heart.
    Just broadening the concept of
the ways you can perceive it.
    Fell prey to teasing.
