The Glory of Christ in Us

Psalm 2:7-9 I will declare the decree:
The LORD has said to Me,
‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
8 Ask of Me, and I will give You
The nations for Your inheritance,
And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
9 You shall break them with a rod of iron;
You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel

My passion is cultivating a deep relationship with God and helping others to do the same. I LOVE sharing with others insights that God has taught me and hearing what God has taught them... thus my blog, Stirring the Deep. My focus is on a relationship, not a religion. Life is in the relationship. I believe in a balance and unity of body, mind and spirit. I feel it's important to nurture all three for they all affect each other. I try to live in the present, where the Holy Spirit is. And I try to do all with the motive of love. I've come to believe life is a journey and not a destination. It isn't about perfection, is it about growth.

  1. I agree with you very much but I am not understanding psalm 2:12…Kiss the son,lest he be angry and you be destroyed in your way, for his wrath can flare up in a moment.Blessed are all who take refuge in him.I have the desire to want God to basically posess me and be like Christ but I have a sin nature and fail alot.I am unable to be Christ like every day.Can you please help me to understand this.

    • Hi Dan – it means to embrace Him in true love .. those who love Him obey Him .. when you willing grow in righteousness by His power then it turns away jugdment because He is coming to destroy all wickedness/unrighteousness. Be patient. Seek God and to be taught by Him. Even in this question, bring it to Him as ask Him to teach you the truth so that it becomes your truth. God is the one to assemble the truth in us so that we can be united to Him.

  2. Rachel,
    in, Psalm 2 v 7 -9 . could you be absolutely clear who you think and who you are saying, The Lord is?..and Who is the,.. Me?
