Proverbs 2:21-22 For the upright will dwell in the land, And the blameless will remain in it; 22 But the wicked will be cut off from the earth, And the unfaithful will be uprooted from it.
Talking about how the sons of God are part of bringing in the kingdom, thus why we are here, and protected by God by His kingdom growing from within – out.

theres two, (and more), very different types of air,..the ‘air’ we breathe,..and the ‘air’ above our heads,but lets deal specifically with the one above our heads,….and id ask you to consider,..the words that accompany ‘air’ in Ephesians 2 and 1 Thess ,…and the ‘air’ the eagle flies in in Proverbs 30,…to me its the same word and place,..the same word .. and to me obviously it’s NOT talking about air in a spirit sense.
Eph 2…is satan is being described as the ‘power OF the air’ (note OF)
1 Thess 4…is describing the dead,and those alive at the 7 trumpet… ‘and the dead in Christ shall rise first’ and those who are alive “with them IN the clouds”,AND “to meet the Lord IN the air”…(special note IN)
as for Proverbs 30, air..i guess ill let Scripture prove itself,..save to say everyone should consider Proverbs 30,..esp,.v 4

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power OF the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
1 Thessalonians 4:17
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them IN the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man with a maid.
walking and learning and growing in our spirit with The Holy Spirit,..is not as you have implied that its the same as ..”to meet the Lord in the air”
i know that you dont share the same thoughts as i, as regards the very Visible return of The Holy Chosen Son of Our Father, Immanuel The Messiah, King of Israel,in All His Glory to The Mount of Olives,.as described in Acts and Isaiah,…but 1 Thess 4 v 17..is at the end of the great tribulation, at the 7 Trumpet,..and Our Kings Wonderful Return,..to this World, to be Visible King FOREVER
or alot of this world being destroyed,of idol worshiping peoples,satans children, …but it is Written, especially in The Books of The Prophets,..Daniel Jeremiah,Isaiah, Amos,…all of them tell a prophetic endtime tale,..of a false christ,an idol worshiping end time people,..A HOLY SPIRIT nowhere to be found!..WAR,..destruction of countries,..alot of His People going to their graves,..until the indignation and His Wrath has passed,…and Rachel you need to discern,,what it means about those days being shortened.
Matthew 24:22
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
Mark 13:20
And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
for anyone to paint a picture of anyone escaping the great tribulation with some sort of ‘rapture’ to Heaven,is a false teaching,..if the elect are here till the end of the great tribulation, then only the dead will miss it.
if you discern Scripture,..only after Tribulation will the dead be brought of of their graves and then those left alive will be caught up IN the ‘air’ to meet The King of kings,..then according to my Holy Bible,.then The King of Israel, all His Holy angels,..and His Children, Elect and Bride, Prophets,ancient kings,Abraham Isaac and Jacob, and Moses,etc..shall all go down to the Valley of Decision,..
then…for the next 1000 years until death is done away with,..will Immanuel, The Holy Son that was Born to Be King of His Fathers Kingdom,continue to fully Establish that Kingdom here on earth as prayed for,…and in a time known only to His Father,..He, Immanuel,Shall hand that Kingdom Over, to His Father,the Most High, Almighty God!

As I can wittness that you are taught by the Spirit, I would give you a point of study. —Solomon said, nothing is new in the earth, everything that has been will be again. That being said, remember the guys in the fiery furnus, then look to Malachi 4:3 and you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day when I act, says the Lord of hosts.
Rachel hi,..in the interest of sticking to Scripture,and it matching proving itself true..maybe you missed my post ,or maybe your still considering the big importance of the small words ‘in’ and ‘of’…..rather than the word ‘air’,…as the only connection at all in these 2 passages of Scripture being the word ‘air’,… to yours as meaning totally the same thing
