Speak Evil of No One

Titus 3:1 Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work,  to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.

PART II

(Gotta love those video pauses … what a face!)

Author: Rachel

My passion is cultivating a deep relationship with God and helping others to do the same. I LOVE sharing with others insights that God has taught me and hearing what God has taught them... thus my blog, Stirring the Deep. My focus is on a relationship, not a religion. Life is in the relationship. I believe in a balance and unity of body, mind and spirit. I feel it's important to nurture all three for they all affect each other. I try to live in the present, where the Holy Spirit is. And I try to do all with the motive of love. I've come to believe life is a journey and not a destination. It isn't about perfection, is it about growth.

  1. Hello, excellent blog. God Bless

  2. Amen and amen, Rachel! This is so necessary. And it’s one of my soapboxes. Thank you for this! Great videos, Rachel!

    • Hi Lynn – when the Spirit was instructing me on this … it amazed how often and how easy it is to slip into this .. it truly is a work of the heart – I’m so thankful that the Spirit works this out in us. It’s so damaging.

  3. I got to listen to you this time! yay! 🙂 I feel really humbled. Not perfect at this yet, but I can see where He has asked me to do this. It’s an area where someone is hurtful to me (not physically), but are able to make everyone else think they are so wonderful. And God asks me not to say anything negative about this person. Now I know more and more why and it is becoming easier and easier. Thank you for your teaching that always echoes Him to me! God bless you!

  4. Good words Rachel. There is a reason James tells us our tongue can set us on fire. You hit the nail on the head.
