Overview: Wisdom and understanding form the foundations from which we think, feel and act. Our philosophies and beliefs that make up our wisdom or lack of it are what we live by every moment of our lives. They create filters through which we see ourselves, others, God, circumstances, everything. Therefore, our wisdom and the source of it are of the utmost importance and God is calling us to forsake the world’s masquerade of enlightenment and grab a hold of His pure Truth. In this show, I talk about gaining the wisdom of God and three areas of our lives it greatly impacts. This topic is essential for every true believer.
My passion is cultivating a deep relationship with God and helping others to do the same. I LOVE sharing with others insights that God has taught me and hearing what God has taught them... thus my blog, Stirring the Deep. My focus is on a relationship, not a religion. Life is in the relationship.
I believe in a balance and unity of body, mind and spirit. I feel it's important to nurture all three for they all affect each other. I try to live in the present, where the Holy Spirit is. And I try to do all with the motive of love. I've come to believe life is a journey and not a destination. It isn't about perfection, is it about growth.
Thank You Rachel. I have played this 4-5 times yesterday as I worked and will play again today. This hits me on so many levels as to where I am now with my vocation and my faithfulness(or lack there of). I struggle with being faithful and also providing income for my family. I show so little faith in staying on the path I am on but show lack of faith by serving the idol of the paycheck. I am praying and seeking guidance and need to increase my faith and action. Thanks!
Hi Tom — so glad that it encouraged you. It is such a fundamental aspect of our spirit lives … thus to true life. I’ll keep this area in my prayers for you.
