Overview: Most all of us long to have a sense of purpose that is beyond just eating, sleeping, and working day in and day out. For some of us, this unfulfilled aspect has plagued our lives sending us into places of darkness and despair. In this show I share my personal struggle and journey. I talk about our purpose and how it is found in a relationship with God because we were created to be in unity with Him. Apart from Him we will remain unfulfilled and ever searching. Though the world offers glimmers of hope in this area, only in God is it found to its fullness as we desire and God desires for us.

Thanks Rachel, I am going to play this again as I did several times as I worked at my desk yesterday. Just wanted to thank you for sharing your heart and your experience. As you said there are many who suffer depression. My wife went through a horrible time and I thank you for your love of Jesus. I too have found an amazing difference in my life when it was about loving Jesus and not just putting on the false christian appearance for others. For many years it was about looking the part for others for me. Now I do love Him and find life in His love…thanks for your message.

Hi Tom, I find there is much comfort when we open up the depths of our hearts to let others look in … it shows us that we really are more alike than different.

Hi Rachel, I do have a relationship with our living God and he leads in all things spiritually, but I have been asking him for some time to give me answers on a question about which business to buy and I do not get an answer. I am very curious as to why not. I would really appreciate your insight into this.

Hi,
Here are some thoughts to consider …
When you feel a “peace” about a decision and when the various aspects line up and seem to “fall in place” .. I have learned it’s a part of His will. Thus, I’ve learned not to “force” things because I thought they were good or right … this allows us to follow God’s will as we follow His flow of events He creates in our life.
Let your guiding direction also be about love .. what is loving and honoring to all .. how does your decision fall in line with that .. seek God’s counsel in this.
