Hey Sis..
(((Hugz)))) Your posts always makes me ponder after I read it. I realize alot of what you wrote are things I myself have been noticing as well lately. I’m sad to see at times how the Lord is put aside for programs and other activities to draw people in. What ever happened to giving them Jesus, the word, and truth. I was so happy you dropped by today, you bless my heart with your sisterness and encouragement.

Very insightful.
I understand, totally, the difference between seeking God and seeking His ‘stuff’ (…like Bethel).
There is a place for the church…, but I can’t help but to remember Jesus’ words:
“You make disciples, I’ll build My church…”
and…
“Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all of things will be given to you as well…”

Good afternoon. What a timely message. Many are so busy with fitting into a structure that they neglect their first love. I’ve been in such a situation before which is why I’ve changed churches so often over the years. But when we have a closeness to the Lord, the ambiet situation becomes a non-factor. As the apostle Paul stated that he had learned to be content in any situation, our peace doesn’t depend on circumstances.
